Top quality local guide
5/5

The whole trip organization phase with Savannah Explorers was very simple. We had the opportunity to customize the tour and our contact person was always ready to respond promptly to any question of any kind.

The cars are spacious and very comfortable. They are equipped with wifi and electrical outlets, allowing you to cross fords of 60-70cm. Furthermore, every morning the car was very clean, both inside and out, even after muddy and dusty journeys.

The hotels and facilities where we slept all offered good quality services and the food was always excellent. All the staff were very kind, welcoming and attentive to our needs.

Finally, the most important part, Jackson, our local guide who accompanied us for 8 days on our entire trip.
Jackson is the best guide you can have. He is a super expert guide who knows Tanzania like the back of his hand. Thanks to his global knowledge of both the local culture and the naturalistic part, the trip becomes a real documentary.
We managed to see all the most beautiful animals on the planet from a close-up view, discovering all their secrets. We learned so much about every living being in Tanzania and the Masai culture.
In addition, Jackson is a kind, empathetic and funny person, with whom you can joke and spend the many hours of driving in serenity and joy.
In short, a person you can trust blindly in every aspect.
We can't wait to come back again!

The best trip I've ever had!
5/5

Africa is a place I wanted to visit at least once in my life.

I decided to go to Kenya this year after hearing from someone who had been there that there is no more beautiful place in the world! So I joined the tour.

The tour included a stay in a luxury hotel while touring Lake Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara National Park.

It was my first safari, and the scenery and color of the sky were different depending on the location and time of day, as well as the animals you could meet, and I was impressed at every time of day, morning, afternoon, and evening. I was able to see many animals such as giraffes, lions, elephants, pumba, zebras, and rhinos up close, and I was moved to learn that animals walk so gently and calmly! I was also moved to see the animals snuggling up to their families and friends.

The optional hot air balloon ride was also amazing! I will never forget the view from the hot air balloon. It was an indescribable moving experience. I thought it would be scary because it was so high, but before I knew it, it rose quietly and quietly, and I wasn't scared at all. It is definitely worth experiencing in Kenya.

And our guide and driver, Mr. Njoroge, who navigated us throughout the trip! He parked the car at a spot where we could easily see the animals, and was always happy to answer any questions we had about the safari or the animals. There's no doubt that Mr. Njoroge's wonderful personality and professionalism made this trip the best it could be. Thank you, Mr. Njoroge!

Thank you for such an amazing experience! Asante Sana!

Maereg is Informative, Invested, Integral in ensuring Ethiopia is celebrated and known!
5/5

I appreciated the professionalism Extraordinary Ethiopia Tours provided for my first trip to Africa. Partnered with African Journeys, here in Brooklyn, NY, we were able to take part in an unforgettable experience/opportunity. Who can say they visited Queen Sheba's palace or saw the throne of admirable Haile Selassie or were moved by the spirit of laborers who created the Rock-Hewn Churches. This tour was educational and spiritual.

The tour went exactly as planned. The visit to Samburu was an amazing experience. The trip was tailored exactly to my tastes and despite doing a huge amount, I finished feeling rested and refreshed.

Amazing

All camp stays were great. Food was excellent, always a great hot buffet or big packed lunch. Highlight of the trip was a hat trick of leopards on the first full day in Masai Mara.

Can't recommend it enough
5/5

We did the 6 day safari at Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our guide Johny Jackson was excellent, he knew all the parks very well and helped us see all the animals we wanted to. All of the big 5 multiple times, and cheetahs, giraffes, crocodiles and more.

We were a bit nervous about coming during the rainy season, but the weather held out and it was usually dry. We'd read that there are fewer animals during this season, but it was not the case for us thankfully.

The food and facilities throughout the trip were great, not always 5 star luxury, but great value and the hosts were exceptionally welcoming.

The only drawback of the trip is the amount of time spent driving between parks, but Johny is a great driver and there were plenty of spots for the bathroom and food along the way. Also, this is of course unavoidable if you want to see all the different regions that we did, and I'd say it was definitely worth it since each park was unique and worth seeing.
