Wonderful 3 days Safari-Tour
We did Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara in three days and it has been wonderful. These three places have been a good combination to see many animals and even various types of vegetation. Our guide Elisante could provide us interesting information about all these places and the life/behavioir of its animals. Due to many years of experience he always knew where to go.

Booking this tour with Akondo Adventures was easy and seemless from beginning to end. Boris, our booking agent, covered everything in detail and was very responsive to any questions I had. He responded within minutes, sometimes seconds. Everything was flawless, from booking the lodge, the flight to and from Zanzibar, and the game drive. Our driver, Simon, was friendly and very knowledgeable. We saw the big five although I was not expecting to see any leopards or rhinos, but to my amazement we spotted both. Awesome, excellent, superb, engaging and energizing experience
Very well organized tour and the food was excellent as it was our fear being vegetarian. The drivers Jerry and Abby rocked and they knew every little thing about the places. Our children enjoyed a lot engaging conversation with them about the animals and the surroundings and learned a lot from them. Will be very happy to recommend this company for our friends and who ever wishes to take the trip.

Super organised, courteous, efficient and helpful in all respects
We hired a 4 x 4 from Land & Lake for 17 days for our self-drive, lodge-based holiday in Zambia and Malawi, and also used them for transport to and from the airport and our Lilongwe accommodation. The planning and booking process by email, spread over several weeks, was most efficient with all queries answered promptly and thoroughly.
The service we received on arrival and throughout our stay was excellent in all respects: quick, courteous, thorough and clear. Jim was at the airport to meet us and help with getting a local Airtel sim (excellent value at £5 for 25 GB, valid 30 days!) and currency from an ATM. He gave us a very clear and thorough briefing on the vehicle, whilst Khama dealt with insurance, documentation and suchlike including setting up a WhatsApp group to allow contact with all relevant parties as the trip progressed, and providing a “fixer” at the Zambian border in both directions to deal with all formalities: a real boon.
The Toyota Hilux was almost new and thus in excellent condition and just perfect for the trip. It had an excellent ‘fridge for cooling drinks and a basket of essential picnic items etc. Its return was equally efficient as collection and all transport arrangements reassuringly reliable and cheerfully conducted. All in all, we would – as very seasoned Africa self-drive travellers - have no hesitation in using Land & Lake again, or recommending them to others, whether they are first-timers or most experienced.

Accommodations and experiences were fabulous.
Our rooms at Kensington Palace were lovely, as were the hotel staff. Cape Town is an amazing city with many wonderful sites to see, including Lion's Head and Table Mountain, and the Mojo Market. Kruger was amazing and the accommodations at the Lukimbi Safari Lodge were top-notch in every way. The guides put us where the wild animals were sure to be, and the cuisine was simply amazing. Finally, Victoria Falls was a must-do. The Falls are spectacular, and the Gorge-Swing was exhilarating! Staying at the Old Drift Lodge was also marvelous, again staffed with wonderful people and amazing meals. All-in-all, it was a five-star vacation for all of us (ages from 20 to 60).

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. The weather was great every day. We experienced beautiful scenery and the Falls are breathtaking. We had an excellent guide and lodging were wonderful.

Everything we'd hoped for!
We did a 5-Day Private Kenyan Safari with Jocky which included Masai Mara, Nakuru, Navaisha, and Amboseli. The tour was for my teenage son and myself. This was our first trip to Africa.
I chose Jocky based on the reviews - and I am so glad I did! They were excellent to work with in the planning stage, answering all my questions. No problems or concerns on that end!
Our guide was James Gichina, and he was EXCELLENT! We saw the Big 5 and everything else we wanted to see! James always managed to get us "front row seats" to all the action and animals - he was very intent on making sure we were satisfied at every turn. I have no idea how he was able to manage the parks/reserves so well, but he knows those places like the back of his hand. Sometimes he would instinctively lead us to where animals were hiding, and other times he would get a tip on the radio and speed up to get us right into the spots where animals were spotted by others. James was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
All 3 lodging sites exceeded my expectations - Enkorok Tented Camp, Nakuru Lodge, Amboseli Sopa. The staff at each location was absolutely lovely and the food was fantastic each night.
The safari jeep was clean and just as we imagined. Plenty of water available.
I HIGHLY recommend Jocky (and James Gichina!) to anyone looking for a wonderful safari experience in Kenya!

My bucket list trip.
This was an amazing once in a life time trip. The lodging was excellent. But our guide Solomon was the BEST! He made sure we saw everything we wanted to see, he laughed at my dumb jokes, he was a joy to spend our 5 day Safari with! Thank you Solomon for making this a dream come true for me! You’re the best ever!
