Awesome
5/5

Four of us were traveling to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. My wife, my daughter, my aunt and me; we want to go on a safari and I started to look on the internet and I saw Hello Tanzania under safari bookings, (last minute deal for a safari from DAR). I request a quote and the answer was right away, madam Mwajabu sent me the quote and the contact info through whatsupp, I started the communication requesting for more info about it, she was very helpful, she did everything for us to get to the safari. As soon as we got to the airport she was outside waiting for us, her office is right there. It was nice dealing with her. Madan Mwajabu is a very trustee person. We payed in cash, because in Tanzania if you pay with credit card you gonna pay 4% or 5% more for the transaction, so that's why we did so. Her son Abed drive us from the airport to the place we were staying at, and madam Mwajabu took the ride with us to make sure everything was ok, she is very professional, the next day early in the morning Abed drive us back to the airport to start our safari, everything was perfect. We enjoyed our safari so much, 2 days and a half and 2 nights, that was great. On the way back to DAR, Abed was waiting for us a the airport to drive us back to our staying place. If I go back to Tanzania I will contact madan Mwajabu for another safari, it was nice experience dealing with her.

The best visit to Kruger ever (out of 15 to 20 visits)
5/5

Upon reflection, having done +/- 15 trips to Kruger, I believe this was overall the best. The convenience (you guys handled everything) was fabulous but the eating interactions (once again your cooking skills) enhanced the experience past just seeing animals. Whilst there may have been a couple of things I may have preferred different, they are insignificant in the enjoyment of the whole experience.

The range of information and the intangible extras such as the friendly interaction was appreciated, too.

My compliments and thanks to yourself and Lungisani for all this and my regards and thanks to Thale for the administration and fantastic attitude in dealing with the plans.

I have a number of people wanting your details. If all come you will be busy !.

Once again, thank you all for a wonderful trip. This was my first holiday for 12 years and it exceeded my expectations.

A fantastic experience!
5/5

For my first visit in Africa I was a little really impressed by the Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris team. They were very friendly and they provided very professional services. Our driver was a really nice person and he offered us the chance to see many animals providing us with information on them and on their habits. Also he gave us a deep inside on Kenya's cultural and social lifestyle.
We would do it again for sure!

Unbelievable experience with an excellent family run company.
5/5

The communication was very easy and prompt with a personal touch. They dealt with all my enquiries with knowledge , patience and a quick response. Their only concern was to make our holiday as personal and perfect as they could, dealing with every detail that was requested. We could not have had a better guide than Ryan his skill was unbelievable and he has knowledge was second to none. We would recommend Wild Planet Safari to anyone who wants an unforgettable experience in the company of a expert.

unforgettable honeymoon safari
5/5

Just after all the expenses and stresses of our wedding, we would never have been able to expect to plan the honeymoon trip we really wanted . Luckily, Caracal Tours & Safaris was there helping us to plan our unforgettable honey moon safari based on our limited financial resource. Thanks to Marion who managed to negotiate best package for us with Maramboi Camp site located between Tarangire and Manyara National Park.
Once we arrived at Camp site, everything was already arranged. We had fantastic room with lake Manyara view. In the evening, something special was prepared for us "sunset dinner with sparkling shampain (a gift from Caracal Tours)".
Also we can not forget two days game drive safari in Manyara and Tarangire planed by Caracal. With experience tour guide Max and Caracal Land cruiser vehicle, we manged to spot unique creatures in various location within the parks including one of big five "Lions".

Me and my lovely wife want to show our appreciation to caracal Tours because our honeymoon was something we could have dreamed for long time. Those amazing memories we experienced, we wil always charity them and look back over and over.

All the good, none of the bad
5/5

Paul, who I found through this site, did an outstanding job of organizing and guiding my 4 night/5 day photo safari to Ruaha, which we selected based on my initial criteria. He communicated well and effectively, organized all my transfers from the time I stepped off the plane, through my day in Dar, to the time I checked back in. Ikuka lodge, where I stayed, was brilliant (reviewed on Facebook and Tripadvisor). I was concerned that a solo guided trip would be prohibitively expensive compared to the group tour I had expected, but by starting one day later (low season), and not reserving a separate vehicle, we were able to keep the cost within my budget- and in fact we ended up have a vehicle to ourselves the entire trip. Paul did not merely meet my expectations, he exceeded my hopes for this trip; and I have for years travelled on average 200k miles a year globally, so I can say I think my expectations were reasonable.
Friends with more experience of East Africa ( a niece lived there for a year, and has been back many times) had warned me about the dust, the insects, the food hazards, the heat, and the crowds. I experienced none of that- it was hot midday but cool in the mornings and reasonable in the evenings when we did our drives. If you are going to Ruaha, I would recommend Paul in particular, and local Ruaha guides more generally, as they do work together where those coming from Dar do not know the park as well, nor do they share information. In a typical 3-4 hour drive we might see 4 or 5 local vehicles from other camps, always stopping to chat and trade sightings. Along with multiple fresh lion kills (we saw lion on 10 of the 11 drives, counting the trip to and from the airstrip), endless elephants, antelope of all types, hippo, herds of giraffe, zebra, buffalo, we also had an exceptional leopard experience, once with a fresh kill where he stayed in view while we watched for the better part of an hour, and again later that day, after he had moved a short distance. As well as very sharp eyes (the leopard was invisible to me until pointed out under a tree) Paul has a broad knowledge of animals, birds, plants (rattling off the latin names), tracks, bird calls which was both helpful and interesting. Ruaha for me was magical, I cannot recommend the park, Ikuka or Paul more highly.

Incredible!
5/5

From the first email to the goodbye at the airport, It Started in Africa were fantastic. The team were very quick to respond to our many questions. Being a family of five, a great deal of organisation was needed in order to make our safari an incredible experience and it certainly was. Our guide, Alex, knew where to go for the animals and was a fantastic driver. I would not hesitate to recommend It Started in Africa to anyone planning a safari. Thank you for some magical memories.
