Wonderful safari with Kiboko Explorer
We spent 7 wonderful days on safari in northern Tanzania (we are a family with 2 teenagers). The trip was organized by Kiboko Explorer thanks to the intermediation of Giulia Raciti, a very good digital travel planner. Wiliam, the owner of the agency, is very scrupulous and showed constant attention to all aspects of the trip (entrance to the parks, overnight stays in lodges and wonderful tented camps, driver-guide, etc). We would like to thank in particular our guide Liberatus, who also spoke Italian, who proved to be an expert driver but at the same time a skilled explorer, allowing us to discover the secrets and wonders of the parks, always with due respect for the places and local fauna. The last night, at Lake Natron, we also pleasantly enjoyed an upgrade in accommodation, exchanging the simple initial tent for a fully equipped family tented lodge with a lake view... simply wonderful. Congratulations to Wiliam and Kiboko! Absolutely recommended!

Professional!
They handled my hotel booking very smoothly and provided all the information I needed in a timely manner. They were very courteous (I dealt with Sheila) and willing to assist. Through The Holiday Dealers, I got a better deal than I would have if I paid directly to the hotel I went to. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and look forward to organising another trip through them! Thanks Holiday Dealers 😊

Once in a Life time Experience!
My darling wife and I went to the Omo Valley with Ethio Backpacker Tours with the second time and wow what an amazing and unforgettable trip! We felt very safe! We had to honor of having Binyam as our driver and Tsehaynew as our tour guide. everything went smoothly above and beyond to take care of us and make sure we learned about the tribes of the Omo Valley and about Ethiopia in general. All of the hotels were really good (of course, it is Africa, so not all of them had A/C) and the food was incredible. If you want to, bring small toys or candy to share with the kids of the tribes or kids that you see anywhere in Ethiopia (they really loved that!). We also gave away some clothes to the adults if that is something you want to do. If you are debating on whether or not to visit Ethiopia with Ethio Backpacker Tours.

Efficient, helpful and organised
I found Chalo Africa through an internet search and contacted them with my inquiries about travelling to Kenya. My brief to them was that this would be my first trip to Kenya and I was interested in having an authentic experience filled with safaris and adventure. I would be travelling solo. They promptly replied with a few suggested itineraries and I also did my own research on their site. After some back and forth we tailer-made the perfect itinerary covering Amboseli, Masai Mara and Nairobi National Park. My trip was fabulous in every way. I would highly recommend staying in the Conservancies (as they had suggested). I loved all three Gamewatchers camps. The guides, the food, the comfortable tents, the management and the beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Chalo Africa as well as Porini camps (Gamewatchers).

My little tribute!
A Very big thank you goes to Africa Joy Tours for an amazing and unforgettable adventure. All our guides, porters, and cooks did everything they could for us to enjoy through the journey as efficiently as possible.
I want to give a special shoutout to our main guide Ibrahim Mashaka who is extremely professional, knowledgeable, a very good leader, confident and with no doubt a Very good person with a beautiful mindset.
Him and his team paced all of the hikers as best as possible to ensure proper acclimatization and made our dreams come true. All 21 climbers summited the Uhuru peak and came back happy and sound.
Long story short. With all my heart, I recommend Ibrahim Mashaka as a guide.
I recommend Africa Joy Tours.
Cheers

Best local agency ever!
I recently had a wonderful experience with Kilimanjaro Tanzanite Safaris. Alongside three friends, I embarked on an unforgettable journey to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Choosing a local agency for this adventure was one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, we were provided with excellent service, great deals, and warm hospitality.
The guides and porters were incredibly professional and friendly, making our climb both safe and enjoyable. The team’s expertise and supportive nature ensured that we felt confident and well-prepared for the climb. They went above and beyond to make our journey smooth and memorable.
Andrew, the owner of the agency, was particularly impressive. He was very accommodating and demonstrated a deep knowledge of the region and its people. His commitment to providing an exceptional experience was evident in every detail of our trip.
In addition to the Kilimanjaro climb, we also explored the stunning Arusha National Park and the refreshing Kikuletwa hotsprings. Each excursion was well-organized and provided us with a deeper appreciation of Tanzania's natural beauty and wildlife.
One of the highlights of our trip was when Andrew took us to dine at an authentic Tanzanian restaurant. It was a hidden gem where we were the only tourists, giving us a genuine taste of local cuisine and culture. This unique experience added a special touch to our adventure, making us feel even more connected to the wonderful country we were exploring.
Overall, I highly recommend Kilimanjaro Tanzanite Safaris for anyone looking to experience the best of Tanzania. Their exceptional service, knowledgeable staff, and commitment to providing authentic experiences made our trip truly unforgettable. Whether you're climbing Kilimanjaro, exploring national parks, or seeking hidden local spots, this agency has everything you need for an amazing adventure.

Personal Professional Service - Amazing Safari
I then came across JT Safaris online. A very different tour company to what we are used to and a very informal way of planning, but the reviews I read were very complimentary and Julius’ excellent reputation was clear to see. Julius wanted to know exactly what I was looking for and would WhatsApp me ideas regarding parks, activities and places to stay, which I either went with or changed if they weren’t quite right. We agreed on a 15 day itinerary with a couple of nights in Nairobi pre Safari and 4 nights on a Diani beach post Safari. Julius organised literally everything from picking us up when we landed at JLIA, to park/trip tickets, hotels and our return domestic flight down to Ukunda/Diani. We paid approx 45% in advance and the remaining balance when we arrived.
We were greeted at JKIA by a very warm & friendly Dominic, who became our driver and guide for the duration of our safari. Dominic was amazing, easy going, chilled, funny - he worked tirelessly driving us from park to park and then delivering each game drive with such enthusiasm and good humour. He is a skilled & safe driver and has a wealth of knowledge which he readily shared with us as he answered our endless questions. His understanding of the animals was awesome and his ability to spot so many different birds that we would never have noticed - all whilst navigating difficult terrain. Dominic went out of his way to help us find literally every animal - and by day 2 we had already spotted the ‘Big 5’ as well as the Samburu ‘Special 5’ Throughout our safari, Dominic planned our best routes to keep us safe and away from drama (we were there during the riots/protests)
What was most impressive was when I became ill, Dominic immediately offered to take me to hospital. On declining this, he arranged for the camp nurse to see me and must have updated Julius. Within 15 minutes, the nurse was with me and I received several messages from Julius checking I was OK and that I had everything I needed. The care I received from the wonderful nurse at Samburu Simba Lodge and JT Safaris was exemplary and greatly appreciated.
On our last day, we needed to get to JKIA to pick up our flight to Diani. It was destined to be a difficult day as the protesters had planned to block all access roads into the Airport. As always, Dominic was prepared for this, he planned for us to leave extra early to ensure he got us there safely and before the protesters impacted our route. The whole holiday was seamless, thanks to Julius' meticulous planning and our fabulous Safari guide Dominic. I would highly recommend JT Safaris and hope to return very soon. It really was a dream come true. Thank you JT Safaris.

Great Experience!
All the experience was great, with very good drivers/guides. Jackson and Joe are real Masai Warriors. We saw all the Big 5 (4 already in day one). The Masai have a good "nose" to find the hidding places. Did learn a lot about the Masai culture and traditions. Kenyans are so friendly and helpful, everywhere you go. The hotel in Amboseli wasn't a good choice but all the rest was great. The extra Balloon ride was a real "Out of Africa" experience. The Masai Village was also a great experience. The box lunch after a few days gets boring, but we're there to use the time to see the wildlife. Thanks Paul!
