fifth time with tailor made safari's
This was our fifth time traveling to south africa with tailor made safari's
We went only for 2 weeks, so we wanted to minimaliize our traveling time from and to accommodations.
We booked for a combination of self drives en guided safari's. we wanted to have maximum time on safari's because we we're coming to photograph wildlife.
we first went to pilanesberg for self drive safaris, only a 2.5 hour drive from the airfield in johannesberg.
we stayed in Manyane a self catering lodge next to the gate of pilanesberg. pilanes berg is great for self drives.
there is al lot of wildlife and there is great scenery.
from there we went to mosetla in madikwe for guided safari's. we have been to alot of parks, but this is the best so far.
they can go offroad and there's good communication between the guides, so we saw predatores every day up and close.
mosetla is a great eco/bush lodge with a real bush feeling.
then we went back to pilanesberg for an couple days.
this was a great combination of self drive and guided, this combination is also great, to make the holiday not to expensive
Tailor made safari's planned and booked everything for us, on the base of our preference and wishes.
Al things were booked and planned perfectly, we recieved a self drive pack before our journey with a; mapbook, tomtom, southafrican simcard, and an nice book with all the details of our journey.
In the five years we have been traveling them, every journey we made was great en well organized. and every time we had a different program based on our wishes in combination with they're advise and expertise on self drive journey's in south africa.
we chose for a bigger car (RAV4) especialy if you go on a self drive safari a higher car is a big advantage.

The Best Experience
My friend and I decided to go on a safari after volunteering for a few weeks in Uganda. We were a little concerned prior to booking due to the fact that we are both younger and don't have much experience outside of the country without our families. However, I don't think we could have picked a better company. I personally picked this safari due to the good reviews and they did not disappoint! Everything was clear and went smoothly. We received a pre-departure packet prior to leaving that had a detailed description of everything we would be doing throughout the trip. Simon was always quick to answer our emails/ questions and our tour guide was amazing! He made sure we saw all the animals possible and we were lucky enough to see the Big Five within the first two days. I can not say enough good things about this safari. Highly recommend this company to any first timers looking for a smooth, well planned out, and fun safari tour where you're able to see lots of up close animals!

Amazing Safari!! Best tour guide (Moses)!
From the start tasteofafrica were so professional, adaptable and we're very easy to communicate with. The actual tour (3 days including tarangire, Ngorogoro and Lake Manyara with endoro lodges accommodation) has been so incredible! We have loved every second. Moses (our tour guide) had great English and was very accommodating and informative, great knowledge as a guide and very skilled at spotting animals. Food and accommodation exceeded expectations! Everyone friendly. Felt completely safe throughout as 3 young women. Would defiantly recommend this tour to anyone! It has been a once in a life time experience!

What an amazing safari experience - truly incredible!
We have just returned home from our first visit to South Africa and our amazing safari holiday with Shinzelle Safaris. It's difficult to know where to begin as our trip was truly incredible and so many amazing memories were made!
Everything was organised very well, and Danielle was polite and friendly in communication before our stay and answered my many questions quickly. Our transfer was smooth and upon arrival at our accommodation we were met by Zami who showed us to our lovely cottage, which contained all that we needed for our stay to be comfortable. The grounds are lovely, very tranquil, and it was magical to watch the monkeys playing just to the side of our cottage and swinging through trees just in front of our door.
Our safari trips were amazing. We had 2 different guides organised through Shinzelle Safaris (Irvin and Kyro), and also a SAN Parks guide for our evening safari, all were knowledgeable and friendly and did all they could to make sure we had a pleasant experience and saw as much as possible during our time in Kruger. We also did the panoramic tour and learnt many interesting facts about the beautiful scenery of the local area.
Food and service at The Windmill were both fantastic. Breakfast was served as a breakfast pack for us to eat whilst out each day, and dinner was freshly prepared each evening and was truly delicious!
A huge thank you to Danielle, Brandon and the rest of the team at The Windmill and Shinzelle Safaris for making our safari holiday so amazing. It is something I will remember for years to come, and I will definitely be back in a few years to experience the magic of Kruger again with Shinzelle Safaris!

incredible and unforgettable safari!!!!!!!!
Our four days safari was fantastic from start to finish. We visited Tanzania through Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, and Tarangire. Our guide Justin was professional and incredibly knowledgeable, a true passionate !!! Wildlands Safaris took care of all the details, the itinerary was well respected and everything met our expectations as much the activities as the hotels. We saw landscapes, animals, met people during meals with the local people that we will never forget. More than just a holiday, a life experience, thank you for everything! If you dream of a safari in Tanzania, choose them!

Just perfect!
I went for a 3 day safari in Maasai Mara with Axis Safari, and I can't recommend it enough! Everything went smoothly, drivers for pick-up on time, the budget camping was very good for the price and great Kenyan food from the beginning to the end.
I must say a big thank you to our driver Richard who was a truely nice and devoted guide, he made his best to always have us seeing closer all animals we could find on our way, and very careful of everyone's wellbeing...Asante Richard!
Dont hesitate to book with Axis Safari, no bad surprise it was 100% good experience!

Excellent Private 10-day Tour
We join the Wild Dog Safari in May 2018. It was an awesome experience in Namibia and we all enjoyed so much. We did both camping and lodging during our trip.
Anja, our tour planner, was very helpful and responsive. She replied our email promptly and arranged all bookings for us. She prepared a very detailed itinerary which was perfectly fit our request.
Our tour guide, Markus, was very knowledgeable in geography and zoology. He always had a pair of eagle eyes and could spot out animals far away. We could see most of the animals (including lions, rhinos, large groups of elephants, leopard and cheetahs) in Etosha NP.
Price of a private tour was reasonable. We planned to have quad-biking in Swakopmund but finally it was cancelled due to the rain. Wild Dog initiated to do a refund for us.
Overall service was great.
Thanks Wild Dog for giving us an unforgettable vocation in Namibia!

Fantastic 7 day safari
We went on a 9 day safari with AAA Express in late May. This included a pickup day, 7 days of actual safari, and a final day where we were brought to the cultural & heritage centre and then dropped to the airport.
Overall the experience was amazing. We really loved this holiday. Our guide, Emile, was brilliant. He is a really nice friendly guy, with a vast amount of knowledge about the wildlife and the area itself. During the safari we saw the big 5 (even the rhinos!) Emile was very good at finding the animals and he could explain their habits and techniques to us really well also. We could tell that he really is passionate about the wildlife. The jeep was very comfortable and secure. The accommodation during the safari that we stayed in was fantastic - 3 nights of lodges and 3 nights of camping. Our cook, Mike, was also really pleasant to deal with; he prepared delicious food for us, and always had a smile for us.
But the best thing about this tour was obviously the wildlife, we were not expecting to see so many animals, so we really enjoyed ourselves. So many lions, elephants, giraffes, and thousands of wildebeest! Emile was very good to allow us as much time as we wanted watching the animals, and we never felt rushed by him.
My fiancée and I both agree that this was the best holiday we have ever had, and we hope to come back again - even if it takes us 20 years! AAA Express really made the entire trip a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania.

The experience of a lifetime
I won't bury the lede. If you're looking for a safari company in Greater Kruger, stop looking right now and book with Shaun at Moriti Private Safaris. Everything about our experience was amazing. From the service of Shaun picking us up in Johannesburg to drive the 7+ hours to the camp (and providing the company of an old friend the whole way) to the comfortable quarters and attentive yet unobtrusive hospitality at Klaserie Camps and – my GOD - the food of Chef Lindsay...everything about the experience of staying in the bush on a Moriti safari is second-to none.
And then there's the reason you're there: the game drives. Shaun says his safaris are meant for a certain type of guest: one who wants to learn about the whole bushveld ecosystem, from the Big 5, of course, to general game, right down to the birds, trees, and insects. I'm not sure how anyone could go out day after day with Shaun and NOT be that type of guest by the end of it. Shaun's knowledge of his trade is incredible. He is so deeply passionate about not just the animals, but all the living things that make up the park environment, that it's impossible for it not to rub off on you.
We had some unbelievable sightings while we were there (including a half hour of eavesdropping on a huge male leopard devouring an impala kill we had discovered earlier in the day!), but somehow, they're not what stand out most in my mind. It's the overall experience and all the moments we shared with not just Shaun, but our hosts Don and Lee, our tracker Patrick, and Chef Lindsay. Shaun said on our drive from Joburg that his guests become friends, and it's so true. By the end of our six days, we had already planned out with Shaun our next African safari in two years. And it was not a dynamic of customer and service provider; it was one of friends planning the next time we'd get together.
Seriously, look no further. Moriti Private Safaris provides the experience of a lifetime.
