A fantastic place, Chobe N.P.
Overall rating
5/5

Last July of 2018, during a trip to Africa, I had the opportunity to visit the Chobe National Park. This place seemed like a paradise for a traveler and photographer, the safaris are amazing and fascinating, with all kinds of animals and birds. It is an explosion of wildlife and nature.
Of the several National Parks that I visited on that trip, this and the Okavango Delta are the ones I liked the most. For a lover of animals and wildlife, it is essential to visit the Chobe National Park.

The whole safari was amazing.

We've seen a lot of animals: lions, elephants, hippos, baboons, giraffes... And so many beautiful landscapes!

The team was waiting us at the bus station 2 days before the safari, even we were late. They drove us to our hotel and were very kind.

The driver Florian was amazing, very patient, listening to all our demands and drove carefully.
The cooker Benson was incredible. We ate very good food all the time.

All the program was respected and the accomodation were ok. We although had a swimingpool the first night (even in tent camp!!!).

Thank you for these unforgetable memories.

Seamless, Friendly & Magical Holiday!!
5/5

We travelled around Uganda with Veronica and John, on the "8-Day Gorilla Encounter, Wildlife and River Nile Safari" and had an utterly magical time with them.
Right from the beginning, whether it be pre-trip guidance and communication, feeling safe and looked after, or feeling able to ask questions and receive informed and interesting insights about the world around us, Mukisa Safaris genuinely exceeded all expectations.

We were picked up from the airport very promptly (despite arriving early) and we set off on our adventure.
The rafting in Jinja was an unbelievable way to spend our 1st day in the country - swimming alongside otters being a particular highlight.
Travelling up to Murchison Falls could've felt like a drag, but we were entertained by the beautiful scenery and interesting facts about the local culture and wildlife, only to have our minds blown at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Murchison Falls was one of the most beautiful places either of us have been, with an abundance of amazing creatures on the individual safaris.
And rounding off the trip with Gorilla tracking was the most incredible experience and made the whole thing feel unbelievably special - we would recommend it to anyone; it was totally worth the price tag!!!!

Excellent experiences with Wamba Safaris!
5/5

During 2018 we were using the services of Wamba Safaris for 2 trips to Uganda.
We went to Uganda in April/May and in October 2018 again. After giving 2 weeks of training to develop education together with colleagues on a vocational institute in Kamuli, for the Dutch organisation called Edukans, we had the time to enjoy the beautiful country Uganda.

We were very lucky that we got in touch with Immanuel Wamba and his nice company ‘Wamba Safaris’. Immanuel himself was our driver and guide during our both trips. He did a wonderful job.
He showed us the beauty of the people and nature. Travelling by his own Safari bus he took us through the country the way we really wanted it. Immanuel is a very safe and relaxed driver and a very pleasant person to travel with. He has a lot of knowledge about the country and he plans and organizes the tour very well. In advance we had a clear overview by e-mail of the possibilities Immanuel could offer us. His communication was very good, clear and friendly during this progress of putting a trip together. Immanuel is an very customer friendly person and flexible in the way he approaches his clients. We stayed in nice hotels and beautiful lodges, we felt very comfortable.

We really enjoyed visiting the tribes in the Karamoja area and the two beautiful National Parks; Murchison Falls and Kidepo NP. We felt like we saw the real Uganda with Immanuel on our side.

We would like to recommend Wamba Safaris for anyone wo wants to make a nice tour through Uganda! The next time we are going to Uganda, he will certainly be the one we are going to call.

A great combination of price-worthiness and exclusivity
5/5

We were looking for a condensed, exclusive two-day tour to Masai Mara and Jocky Tours turned out to be a great choice. Our experienced guide Joshua took good care of us from the moment we met and together we shared an unforgettable journey. Going from Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley, Narok and through Masai regions was a unique experience by itself, and the stories and experiences Joshua shared with us during the days added huge value to our trip. Masai Mara was even more breathtaking than expected and after two intensive days we had encountered all the wildlife you could wish for. We had a great stay in a tented camp close to the park, with friendly staff and members from a nearby Masai tribe welcoming us in a great way.

While the safari tour even exceeded our expectations, the planning proceeded very smoothly as well - from the initial contacts with Minneh to Joshua dropping us off at our hotel. I would definitely recommend Jocky Tours for anyone who is looking for a great combination of price-worthiness and exclusivity.

Great experience, easy booking, very nice tour guide and driver
5/5

Booking was very easy, Robert was answering really fast. We payed 10% in advance, the rest cash the first day of the tour. Pickup at the airport was no problem. We loved Arony, who was our driver and tour guide. We were 6 people on our 7 day tour (Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Naivasha), everybody had a window seat.

Nice tour with well organized agency
4/5

The 3 nights tour was a nice one. It's very well organized and prepared. We have chance to stay at 2 different private reserves and spent one day driving in Kruger. I traveled alone but had no problem being friend with other people in the group. My only comment is that by staying overnight at private reserves we can only get to Kruger by 9-10am when it's already late for seeing animal. It was a warm day and most of them was just hiding or sleeping. We don't have time for evening drive in Kruger as well because we need to head back to the camp. I would prefer to stay inside Kruger for the morning and evening drive instead if I have a chance to come back. There are a lot more animal in Kruger compare to private reserves. But the walk at Olifants river was very nice. The water at Marc Camp can be improved, we had to walk like 200m to take shower/toilet

A positive Review with Reservation
4/5

My original planned trip was a 12 day tour (as seen on the website) with a maximum of 6 people. I planned a second 3 day tour at the end after some volunteer work to visit the Mountain Gorillas a 2nd time. I ended up with a 9 day tour and then a 4 day tour. Due to illness of others who were supposed to be part of my group, I was on the tour alone at NO extra expense. I had initially asked what would happen if there weren't others signed up for my tour and been told there would be no additional charge and that the trip would still go. The positive pieces include my guide, Wyclef, who guided me on both tours and was knowledgeable, funny, and an excellent driver. The time spent in the National Parks was excellent and I saw all the animals I had hoped for. My reservation in recommending Mushra Travel Agency is in the communication with Michael. Before leaving the U.S., I tried for 2 weeks to get in touch with Michael by whatsapp and by phone. I had no response until the day before I left. At that point I had become quite anxious. The itinerary online and what was given to me on arrival was different and if I hadn't pointed out the change from 10 days to 9 days (which meant one of the parks had been excluded), it would not have been mentioned. (No idea what happened to the 12 day or even the 11 day that was listed online and that I thought I was to be on) That park was added to my 2nd tour at no additional charge. During the trip I attempted to communicate with Michael about changes and payments several times and went days without a response. The price is great for the Mushra trips, the guides are great......Michael's communication needs to greatly improve before I recommend Mushra Travel Agency,.

Hiking in South Africa great nature !
5/5

A fantastic trip in the real Africa ! A mix of hikes, walks and swim in mountains, villages and the coast. From Drakensberg to Wild Coast, and through Lesoto.
Very well organised, with good accomodation and food, with some basic nights in small villages. Close to the nature, close to people living there. Far from the cities and usual tourist destinations.

Recommanded !
