Very prompt response and clear communication.
5/5

Pendo from Tales of Tanzania has been very responsive since the start. All information was communicated clearly through email. Booking was easy and all the transaction were done without much issue.
Our guide, Naiman, was very helpful and the best we could ever ask for. He was kind and always gave his best effort to ensure we got to see all the animals, including the wildebeest migration.
Despite there was some miscommunication about the hot air balloon arrangement during our trip in Serengeti, Pendo and Naiman had given their best effort to manage and ensure we got to enjoy this amazing experience.
We definitely strongly recommend both Tales of Tanzania and our guide.

Absolutely Unforgettable Experience with Emmkamp Tour!
5/5

I had the pleasure of joining Emmkamp Tour for a 3-day adventure in Uganda, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the serene boat cruise at the source of the Nile to the heart-pounding thrills of bungee jumping and white water rafting in Jinja, every moment was unforgettable. The highlight was exploring the lush Mabira Forest, where we witnessed incredible wildlife and the tranquility of one of Uganda's last tropical rainforests. The entire trip was seamlessly organized, with every detail carefully planned, making it a truly memorable experience. For anyone seeking both adventure and natural beauty, Emmkamp Tour is an absolute must!

Wakanda Forever!!
5/5

Operator Name: Wakanda Safari Tours
Contact/Planner: Aishwarya
Guide: Basheer
Day Trip Guides: John and Ben
Tour: 6-Day Serengeti Migration tour including game drives in Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, plus a day trip to Materuni Falls.

Overall Experience:
Our experience with Wakanda Safari Tours was nothing short of exceptional. We embarked on the 6-Day Serengeti Migration tour and were treated to unforgettable moments, including witnessing a thrilling river crossing with a crocodile hunt and the rare sighting of a Rhino. The variety of wildlife—from Elephants to Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hippos, and countless exotic birds—left us in awe. The picturesque views of the migration, with thousands of zebras, wildebeests, impalas, gazelles, and topis, were truly breathtaking.

Accommodations:
They arranged for very comfortable stays, mostly in mid-luxury range sites where cozy beds, private hot showers in the morning and evening, comforting food, and great sunrise and sunset views were standards. Aishwarya meticulously prepared us for each stay, setting clear expectations about what to expect and ensuring every detail was taken care of.

Day Trip to Materuni Falls:
We also took a day trip to Materuni Falls, which was an amazing experience. The hike up to the falls was enjoyable and not too challenging, making it a pleasant experience for everyone. The views along the way were beautiful, and the falls themselves were well worth the effort. We enjoyed a lovely lunch prepared by the Chagga tribe, followed by a visit to a local coffee farm where we had a great time learning about traditional coffee-making processes. We ended the day with a dip in the Chemka Hot Springs. While the springs were refreshing, we expected the water to be warmer.

Special thanks to John and Ben, who made our day trip even more memorable. They went above and beyond by diligently coordinating the transfer of our luggage to a new hotel when our return was delayed, saving us a ton of time and energy late at night. This is yet another example of the exceptional team culture fostered at Wakanda Safari Tours.

Planner (Aishwarya):
Aishwarya understood our preferences perfectly and crafted a flawless itinerary. Despite being vegetarian, our dietary needs were impeccably catered to, even in the remote Serengeti where she arranged delicious spicy Indian meals. Her dedication was evident throughout the two months of planning, always available to address every detail, even beyond regular hours. Her proactive communication ensured a smooth and worry-free experience.

Guide (Basheer):
Basheer was an outstanding guide, combining deep knowledge with exceptional hospitality. His friendly demeanor and patience in explaining every detail enriched our safari experience. His sharp eyesight and expert driving skills ensured we always had the best wildlife sightings, navigating amidst other safari vehicles with tact and consideration. From coordinating with camp staff to packing lunches and setting up meals, Basheer's dedication and sincerity were exemplary. Watching him do what he does from dawn to dusk, I now have a newfound respect for all safari guides. He also extended his care to fellow guides and stranded vehicles, showcasing a true spirit of camaraderie.

Recommendation:
I wholeheartedly recommend Aishwarya, Basheer, John, and Ben of Wakanda Safari Tours to anyone seeking a top-tier safari and adventure experience. Their commitment to excellence and the supportive culture at Wakanda left a lasting impression. Wakanda Safari Tours has undoubtedly set a high standard in the industry. Wakanda forever!

Excellent
5/5

Incredible! Our Letaka mobile safari was extraordinary from the start.
First night, just as we had barely sat down to dinner in the bush, a pack of wild dogs raced through camp and killed an impala right in front of us. The wild dogs were followed by a hyena and a jackal. That was a spectacular start to a brilliant trip.
Our guide was excellent, on the morning and afternoon game drives, he tracked lions, leopards, hyenas and more wild dogs with amazing skill, we saw so much wildlife.
The mobile tented camps were in beautiful locations. The camp staff were great and cooked us lovely and varied vegetarian meals and were an awesome team.
Can't recommend the trip highly enough, this was our second safari with Letaka and it was just as good as the first. Thank you Letaka.

A fun and interesting tour of Madagascar
5/5

A fun 8 days touring Madagascar. The tour guide MJ was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The guide communicated well and he and the driver were reliable throughout the trip. The company adapted the tour to suit my friend and I and listened to and reacted to feedback from us. The hotels were of good quality and we experienced and learnt many interesting things about Madagascar.

good price-performance ratio
4/5

I did A 6 day (Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru - Amboseli) Safari with this company.
I would like to focus on four points: the communication and planning beforehand, the safari, the guide and the accommodation and food.
1. communication and planning:
Communication with the company is only via email. This makes the exchange somewhat cumbersome. For example, I had to wait 1 hour for my pick-up on the first day and could not reach the company. The payment processes are also a bit cumbersome. This part of the Safari was not ideal.
2. the safari
The safari route can be done with different companies. Bluerange is a low-cost company. That's why you don't have a jeep, for example, but a van. This is a little less comfortable. On the whole, however, the experience is the same. We saw a lot of animals in the Masai Mara Park and at Lake Nakuru. It was great. Amboseli Park was a bit disappointing for me as we unfortunately couldn't see Kilimanjaro. But a lot of things happen by chance and you can be lucky or unlucky. Our group was a mixture of different safari providers. This means that Bluerange is merely an intermediary company. As the three national parks are relatively far apart, you do a lot of driving in the Car. After 6 days it was more than enough for me. (4 days would have been enough for me). There were two small changes to the initial safari intinerary we were given: 1. We didn't go back to Nakuru National Park on day 4, but went on a boat safari on Lake Naivasha. This was very worthwhile but cost an additional 20 USD. 2. on the 5th day we did not go to Amboseli Park in the morning, but did a morning walk. This also costs 10 USD. But it is optional.
My personal recommendation is also not to visit the Masai village on day 3. I found it quite unpleasant and everyone there wants to sell something.
3. the guide
Our guide/driver knew his way around everywhere and was able to steer the car well even in tricky places. He also had a good eye and saw lots of animals. The information about the animals was somewhat marginal, if you wanted to know more you had to ask. However, I didn't mind this.
4. accommodation and food
As already mentioned, Bluerange is a reasonably priced safari company. This is also reflected in the accommodation and meals. So if you are expecting luxury, you are in the wrong place with this company. We spent 4 nights in fixed tents and 1 night in a hotel. The rooms always had proper beds, electricity and bathrooms. So you didn't have to do without any basic necessities. However, as you are usually only in the camps to spend the night, this is completely sufficient. Wifi was rather scarce. I recommend taking out a data package with Safaricom in advance.
Food is usually served at a buffet. It's usually the same things: Rice, vegetables, chicken and beefstew. The quality varies depending on the hotel or rest stop, but it is always edible. On the all-day game drives, the guide takes a picnic with him. This is also edible but nothing special.
On the whole, a great experience. You can be more or less lucky when it comes to seeing animals. If you can do without luxury and prefer to travel a little more cheaply, this is the right company for you. If you want to go on a luxury safari, you will probably have to pay more. However, the national park is the same for everyone, no matter how much you pay.

1 Day Safari - Tarangire
5/5

We did a 1 day trip safari from Moshi to Tarangire park.
It was a great day, our driver was very nice and friendly, teaching us a lot about the park, the animals etc.
We could see many elephants (even crossing the road), zebras, antilopes, cheetahs, monkeys and even female lions!!
The drive from Moshi was a bit long but worth it.
Many thanks for this great day restful after Kilimanjaro climb.
