Barely survived
We thought we had booked a trip to discover and experience the wild animals in Kenya and Tanzania but apparently that was not the case. The schedule of visiting several national parks and also be guided in these suited us perfectly but was a huge disappointment.
We were more or less driven around without our so called guides took care of us, guided us or talked to us. The guides or more correctly drivers showed no interest in giving us more knowledge about the wildlife or the parks where we visited. During our ten days of safari none of the drivers took full responsibility for us but just send us on our way to the next driver totally without communication and information what was happening or what was going to happen.
This was really bad but even worse was the fact that the drivers showed big lack of skills in their ability to manage the vehicles they drove us in, which resulted in a number of really dangerous traffic incidents on the savanna. Neither did they have the ability to maintain their vehicles, which was clear and almost got us driven off the track trying to ascend the Ngorongoro crate where the hill was very steep.
We managed to survive these incidents barely.
Sure we encountered the wonderful wildlife but the experience around it was just awful on every level. We can just recommend you choose another tour company.

I had a fantastic experience with from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. The ride was smooth, and we arrived on time. I highly recommend this shuttle service for anyone looking to travel between these two destinations.

Great value for money. If you are lucky enough to get Robin as your tour guide you will have an amazing time. He is able to get you so close to the animals, an amazing driver and knows so much about the animals and history of the Masai Mara!
The whole trip was a once in a lifetime experience and I would recommend to you!

The Perfect Travel Agency you need!
We’re a family of 4 (parents+twins 9-year-old) and we travelled for a wonderful 14-days-tour around Namibia.
The organization has been perfect and “customized” on our needs and desires: tour design, car rental, accomodation and proposed activities, general advices and nice tipa to fully enjoy the journey.

Amazing experience and things to remember!
We booked a 6 day safari with Jocky tours in the middle of July. Our itinerary included visits to the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Amboseli. Though we were absolutely delighted with the sights and animals we saw during the trip, there were some things we feel we need to share with those who are thinking about taking a safari. First of all, among all the companies that organise safaris Jocky tours seems to be the best (it is the largest and the most reliable). All in all, there were no major issues with accommodation or services but you need to know what exactly is included in your
plan and what isn’t, otherwise you are very likely to be charged extra. Second, what driver you get is a matter of luck. Apparently, there are no guidelines for drivers on how they should conduct themselves on safaris so some of them might be more engaged with their tourist groups than others. We were driven by Robert, a rather skilled driver, who turned out to have a background in evolutionary biology so we got to learn a lot about the animals and their habitat. However, we heard from other tourists that other drivers
weren’t so knowledgeable and didn’t bother stopping when they asked them to.
Finally, there were some issues related to old dollar bank notes not being used in the country. Though it isn’t directly related to the company, the company representatives might have informed us in advance about the need to pay with new notes. Apart from the things listed above, everything was great - the safari we had was absolutely fantastic (we got to see all the animals!), the vehicles were fine, the accommodation lived up to our expectations and the food was good as well. All in all, we found our trip an incredibly exciting and fulfilling experience (adventure even) and definitely recommend the company!

Perfect! Well organized
It was a great experience everything was very well planned, the driver agency was super Nice the guide was super Nice as well everything was perfect!
We saw a lot of animals we ate well and the camp was good!
We had a specific timing with our Flight and the agency managed everything perfectly I recommand
