Amazing, knowledgeable and highly recommended!
5/5

Last month, my wife, my mom and I took a safari trip with One More Adventure Safaris and it was probably one of the best trips of my life! Right from the start, Fred Odyek did an amazing job in meticulously planning our trip to Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. He booked the best lodges to stay and the best activities we should be doing during the trip. He welcomed us at the airport and gave us personalized bottles and goodies. Fred and his team of guides (Emmanuel, Charles and Apollo) were all incredibly knowledgeable and amazing! From gorrilla and golden monkey trekking in Rwanda to seeing The Big Five in Kenya and Tanzania, we had an incredible experience! Fred was so kind and sweet that he prepared a custom song for my mom's birthday and played it at the lodge we stayed at and also got her a custom birthday cake! Talk about the personal touch!

Emmanuel hooked us up with the best guides in Volcanoes National Park who took us to see the biggest Mountain Gorilla family in the entire park - The Hirwa family of 19 gorrillas! After hiking for about 3 hours, we were right around this beautiful gorrilla family. We saw a silverback up close, his twins playing around and posing for us who then walked right by our feet, a 3 month baby, 4 of his wives and the list goes on! It was an incredible experience! The next day we got to see golden monkeys up close and it is amazing to see how golden some of them are! And this family of 175 golden monkeys decended from the mountain to greet us as we were about to climb the mountain to see them! So to see them in the open up close was amazing! To think that two of the rarest species are in the same national park is just surreal!

Then, in Amboseli National Park in Kenya, with the sun about to set down and Kilimanjaro behind us, we witnessed one of the highlights of our trip when we witnessed live right in front of our eyes a Pride of Lions hunting a Dazzle of Zebras and successfully catching a baby zebra. That would not have been possible without Charles's amazing instincts, knowledge, driving skills and keenly listening to the radio so that we didn't miss out on any action! Same thing could be said when he got us on time to witness a Confusion of Wilderbeests (about 300-400 or so!) crossing the Mara River from Serengeti into Masai Mara! We actually got to see the most famous portion of The Great Migration! In addition to this, we also got to witness a valley migration of these wilderbeests. Charles was definitely our lucky charm!

Speaking of lodges, we had amazing views of Lake Nakuru and Nakuru National Park at Sopa Lodge. At Mara Mara and Kubu Kubu lodges in Serengeti, we had the thrill of staying at luxury lodges where the shower had no ceiling and so it gave us an adventure of showering under the sky with animals possibly right outside. I mean a safari trip can't be better than that, right!?

On Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha, walking with zebras, giraffes, ostriches, impalas, gazelles, and knowing that somewhere hyenas were sleeping was an experience that I will never forget! It was crazy to think that we were just walking for an hour from one end of the island to another with all these wild animals! And an ostrich really wanted my mom's purse and kept picking on it!

The Hot Air Balloon in Masai Mara is a must! We got an amazing view of Masai Mara from above that gives you a beautiful aerial view of all these animals walking and running around the park. What was crazy was that before getting in the Hot Air Balloon, I asked the pilot what happens if Lions are right by where we land and guess what!? While we didn't have them right by where we landed, we did have a pride of young male lions just eating their breakfast Wilderbeest to the right side of where we had our breakfast post the Balloon ride and on our left were the hyenas waiting for the lions to be done with the wilderbeest! It was unreal that we were sitting right in the open eating our breakfast and enjoying champagne and these wild animals were so close to us enjoying their breakfast! It was like we shared our breakfast area with the Lions! How cool is that!? Well, as long as we didn't become their food!

Serengeti was a bit disappointing for us because we didn't see much other than mating lions but we were glad to have seen all The Big Five animals (buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, leopards, and lions) in Masai Mara! What was amazing though was the beautiful reddish/orange African sunrise and sunsets here that we missed out on in Kenya because it was more cloudy everyday there than in Serengeti. The beautiful Blue Bay resort, Fred booked for us in Zanzibar was a nice way for us to relax after an amazing safari trip.

I could write another whole page about this wonderful trip and how wonderful Fred and his team were but I think no amount of words will do enough justice to the experience they created for us.

I highly highly recommend One More Adventure Safaris if you are planning a safari trip to these East African countries. Fred is amazing and he will 100% make sure that you have the best experience possible. We can't wait to come to Rwanda next time to do chimpanzee trekking and go to Ol Pejeta conservancy in Kenya for which we would not want to use anyone but Fred and his team at One More Adventure Safaris!

A friendly and professional guy, he explained everything very good
5/5

When we stepped out of the plain, he had a big smile greeting us, he was very friendly. In the car he explained everything about Uganda. Every ‘even a stupid’ question he answered. He helped us with a lot of things. He is very professional! If I would go back or visit Rwanda, I would ask for him! Great guy. Dominique and Patrick

The best safari with the best guide
5/5

At first i have to thank Omary our tour guide for making this trip so special.
He is the best guide who knows everything about the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater.
He is not only a living book he also made sure that the group get to know each other better and is always safe.
He was so good in spotting the animals that we saw the big 5 and hunderds of other animals.
Additionally the food was really tasty and the car we drove in very comftable.
The campsites were safe and the sanitaires were clean.
It was a time i will never forget and i can just recommend you to book a safari with Omary.

10/10! Couldn’t recommend Gmr Jungle Tours any more! We spent 3 days exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park. Our guide, Bosco, was so full of knowledge and amazing to be with! Bosco knew all of the best spots and ensured that we saw everything we wanted to within the safari. I cannot wait to come back again, I had the best safari experience! Thank you Bosco and I’m so keen for next time!

Amazing, well-organised tour across Zimbabwe and Botswana
5/5

During July, my boyfriend and I went on a Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) and Botswana 9 day tour with Africa Uncovered, with tour guide Tafara. We booked the tour super last minute (only a few weeks before), but Archie and Tafara were so accommodating and the organization of the trip was very smooth. We had the most incredible time exploring all the different magical spots of Botswana and seeing all the animals. We also really enjoyed getting to know Tafara, who was patient and kind, and gave us loads of information about his home country which was fascinating. We had lots of support from Tafara & Archie when my boyfriend came down with the flu, and was feeling very poorly - Tafara took him to a doctor, and was able to change some plans when necessary. They were also very supportive when we decided we did not want to camp in the bush, and helped to swap us back to the hotel. Overall, we'd really recommend both the tour and the company!

meticulous in the preps ,committed in the execution
5/5

communication was excellent during office hours for the local part. Communication was excellent 24/7 for the international part.
Service was excellent ,cristal clear and plenty in the privately owned accommodations ,Service was poor at the state owned accommodations .
Value for money was great, in fact ,it was more value for the money in our eyes.
Reliability was poor on the rental car side, but extraordinary on the tour operator side, Hats off, we felt pampered.
On the tour itself: we shot our-selfs in the foot by a tall order on "tings to see". We found out the country is bigger then we thought, and spent too much hours on relocating.
As with many "first visits" happen, you want really see all you can see. Lesson learned, curb your enthusiasm , and don't drive too long.

Our disappointment at Etosha was bigger then what we got told on the road by the privately owned accommodations. Etosha has got the name, but it's lack of commitment in the entrepreneur's sense is saddening. It might suit for self-drive campers, but it was mediocre in our pampered expectational eyes.

The above line is (obviously) a comparing/reflection to the INSANE LUSH/POSH/WANT OF NOTHING treatment we got at ALL the other accommodations. I have no words how good these are. The sun-rise/sun-sets, the food, the rooms, the hospitality ,the frankness shall remain in my heart for ever. Who puts a settee and a solar panel powered pink fridge in the middle of the desert ,filled with chilled refreshments ? (free of charge).
Mount Etjo Lodge and Omunga Bush Camp knocked all out of the ballpark. I wont tell, go and see, your jaw will drop !
Gondwana Sosusvalei is oozing "honeymoon". Its Braai is mindblowing.
I force myself to stop writing now, because i could fill ten pages .

Wonderful first safari experience
5/5

I used Escape to Adventure Safaris for my trip to Victoria falls and Botswana. It was my first safari and I was traveling solo. They were very organized, planned a great itinerary hitting all the highlights, and flexible at the same time. Harrison, our guide, was very kind, respectful, patient and caring. The guides on activities made me feel safe. I recommend this safari company.
