Magical experience!
We booked a 3 day safari across Tarangire, Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We were really struggling to decide who to book through as the amount of safari companies out there was overwhelming. We didn't know anyone that had been on a safari previously to recommend us, and so we did our research and looked through the reviews of a lot of different companies, and to us Akondo stuck out. And we're so glad we went with them!
Boris helped us organise it from the beginning and answered any questions that I had. He helped put a personalised package together with our wishes and needs. Boris met us at the airport at the start of the tour, and he met us again at the airport as we were leaving to say goodbye.
Our tour guide was Laurian and he was amazing! We booked a private tour, so it was just the three of us for the 3 days and Laurian became a friend, we laughed and joked and had such a great time!
Laurian was able to recommend us places to get certain gifts and items which we wanted to buy.
We were able to see 4 of the Big 5! We had some extremely close encounters with Elephants and Lions!
It was a truly magical experience and having Laurian as our tour guide completed it for us!
Laurian was extremely knowledgeable. We learnt so much from him and he was able to spot animals, even from so far away! For example, he spotted a black rhino in the distance! Many animals we wouldn't have spotted if it wasn't for Laurian!
The ride was comfortable and we have no complaints whatsoever!
We will be back, and we'll be using Akondo again, especially asking for Laurian!!!! We would love to see the great migration at Serengeti next time!

The Ultimate Tanzania Journey – From Tribal Encounters to Safari, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar with Wivi
I have traveled to many countries, but nothing compares to the incredible adventure we experienced across Tanzania with Wivi Agency. This wasn't just a safari—it was a complete journey through the heart and soul of Africa, and every day brought something new and unforgettable.
Our trip began at Lake Eyasi, where we had the opportunity to meet the Hadzabe and Datoga communities. This was one of the most authentic cultural experiences we have ever had. Learning about their traditions and way of life gave us a deeper appreciation of Tanzania beyond its wildlife.
From there, we explored the legendary Serengeti Central. The game viewing was simply extraordinary. We saw lions almost daily, huge elephant herds, cheetahs resting on termite mounds, and even a leopard lounging in an acacia tree. The endless plains and dramatic sunsets made us feel like we were inside a wildlife documentary.
The Ngorongoro Crater was equally spectacular. Descending into the crater early in the morning and seeing wildlife spread across the landscape was one of the highlights of the entire trip. Every corner seemed to reveal another incredible sighting.
Just when we thought the safari could not get any better, we continued to Mikumi National Park. The park offered a completely different atmosphere and allowed us to enjoy wildlife away from the larger crowds. The diversity of landscapes throughout the journey kept every day exciting and unique.
One of the most memorable parts of our adventure was experiencing Mount Kilimanjaro. Even standing beneath Africa's highest mountain was inspiring. The views, scenery, and atmosphere around Kilimanjaro added another unforgettable chapter to our Tanzanian journey.
After weeks of adventure, ending our trip in Zanzibar was perfect. The white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, beautiful sunsets, and relaxed island atmosphere provided the ideal conclusion to an action-packed safari. It felt like a reward after all the incredible experiences we had enjoyed across the mainland.
A special thank you to Elias from Wivi Agency, who coordinated this extensive itinerary flawlessly. Organizing a journey covering so many destinations could not have been easy, yet everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. His communication was excellent, and he was always available whenever we had questions before and during the trip.
We were also fortunate to be accompanied by several outstanding guides throughout different parts of the journey. Joshua, Peter, Hassan, Tondo, and Benard each brought their own expertise, knowledge, and personality to the experience. Together they made us feel safe, welcomed, and constantly amazed by the wonders of Tanzania. Their passion for wildlife, culture, and their country was evident every single day.
What impressed us most about Wivi Agency was their ability to combine so many different experiences into one seamless adventure. From cultural encounters and world-class safaris to Kilimanjaro and the beaches of Zanzibar, every detail was carefully planned and professionally executed.
Looking back, this was not simply a holiday. It was an adventure that combined culture, wildlife, nature, mountains, and tropical beaches into one perfectly designed experience. Every destination offered something unique, and every day created memories that will stay with us forever.

Carson is a great guy with a friendly attitude and positive vibes.
Our day started with our guide, Carson, who was incredibly friendly from the very beginning. He arrived early at our hotel and even waited a few minutes for us before we headed to the Lion & Safari Park.
On the way, Carson offered us water, making sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Once we arrived, he kindly accompanied us while we shopped for souvenirs and even looked after our belongings while we browsed.
After finishing our shopping, we enjoyed the game drive, which was an amazing experience. When it was over, Carson was already waiting to take us back to the hotel. Before heading back, he offered us the option to stop for lunch if we wanted, and recommended an incredible South African restaurant. He joined us during the meal, and we had a wonderful time talking, sharing stories, and enjoying authentic local food together.
At the end of the day, Carson made sure we returned safely and comfortably to our hotel. Thank you so much for everything, Carson! Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting South Africa!

A well-organized tour operator with excellent guides.
We had a wonderful safari experience and everything was very well organized. Our guide, Richard, was kind, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. You can really tell he is passionate about his work, and he made the whole experience much better. He always made sure we had the best possible experience in the parks. If we come back, we would definitely love to have Richard as our guide again.

We all enjoyed our time in Mara and had a very unforgettable time there. Nelson is the best guide we could have asked for. All in all, from start to finish, everything was what we hoped for and then some!!

Amazing Experience, hakuna matata!
We had an AMAZING time with Axis Africa! From the beginning, Rita was very helpful and organised, and orchestrated our Safari perfectly. Our driver Raymond was very keen to find all the animals, he is very knowledgeable and accommodated all of our requests. He always made sure we had the best spot for the pictures, we had an amazing time. Overall the experience was seamless, the recommended hotels were perfect, big shout out to Elephant Gorge Camp and Entim Camp Masai Mara, I highly recommend both! Nakuru Sopa Lounge was also very good. The biggest highlight with Axis Africa is the value for money, other companies were charging twice the price, for what I imagine to be the same experience. We had a magical time and saw A LOT of animals!
