3-day private safari (Serengeti&Ngorongoro)
We got sound advice from Emma at Shemeji, and the tour included everything we wanted. Her response was always prompt. Our guide, Elemes spotted many animals, even they were far away. We were able to see all big five! There are a lot of tour operators, but we were very glad to choose Shemeji.

Simply the best personal travel Manger, planning our 3rd trip now
We were recommended Gail by a friend in 2013, we booked a trip in 14 and had the best month away ever, we then booked another trip in 2017, that was simply awesome, and we are planning another in 2019.
Gails knowledge and attention to detail is fantastic.
if your planning a trip to south Africa Gail is the only person you should use hands down.

Review about Tarangire National Park by Cheryl M and Tim L
Tarangire is the place to go if you want to see LOTS of elephants. We also loved eating lunch at the overlook of the Tarangire river. Saw lots of animal mingling together at the water. It was something we didn't see anywhere else.

Review about Serengeti National Park by Cheryl M and Tim L
Saw lots of animals in the Serengeti. Stayed in bush camps and heard lots of animals at night, some of them quite close (Hippo and lions). Loved watching the sunset in front of our tent. Also the early morning game drives (left before the sun came up), were fabulous.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Cheryl M and Tim L
Ngorongoro Crater was very beautiful. It is the best place to see Rhinos and we saw one up close. Also saw 2 lions stalk and kill a zebra. Great place to see lots of wildlife in a concentrated area.

The best week of my life.
We saw the Big 5 and so much more--so many juvenile animals in the early summer! The weather was just lovely. We stayed at the Neptune Mara Rianta, and it beyond exceeded our expectations--BEST place to stay in the Mara. There was nothing we didn't immensely enjoy about our safari. The Maasai village visit and hot balloon ride were icing on the cake.

Saw the Big Five and much much more!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Tanzanian safari. We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park including the northern part near the Mara river, and Ngorongoro crater. All of the accommodations were excellent. The Simba lodge had a watering hole right next to it where we saw elephants, zebras, warthogs, and storks. The tented camps in the Serengeti were very comfortable and close to the animals, including one night with a Hippo munching on grass right by our tent! We used Makasa Tanzanian Safaris. They were very responsive to all our inquiries. Our guide, Jamal, was AWESOME! He knew where to find the animals and was also quite knowledgeable about birds. We saw 40 different animals and more than 90 kinds of birds. We saw the big 5 and much much more. Some of the highlights were:
the massing of many different kinds of animals at the Tarangire river
spotting the African Wild Dog (Cape Hunting Dog) an endangered and very rare species
viewing lots of animals at the watering hole next to the Simba Lodge
seeing a large pride of lions comprised of 2 males, 5 females, and 13 cubs
a mother lion nursing her 7 cubs (she also carried one around in her mouth)
3 wildebeest migrations across the Mara river
2 female lions stalking and killing a zebra right in front of our eyes
Spotting a rhino up close

Selous Ngalawa Camp; Fantastic Safari experience of our life
Our Safari Guide Leonard was extremely increadible. Full of knowlege, with an eagle eye for spotting animals, including all the four of the Big Five that they have in Mikumi N.P.The Park is gorgeous andstaying in the Lodge just in the Centre od everything was amazing. We woke up to the three Elephants hanging out about 5 feet away from our room and could hear the lions roaring at night. They set up a fire pitfor us and we had a great time talking to some of the Staff. It was a really a FIVE STAR safari. In a very special case, we congratulate Mr. Donatus for organizing this for us.We will not hesistate to recommend Ngalawa Safari Camp to ourfriends and anyone interested with safari ni Mikumi Park in Tanzania.

Thanks Kikwetu for taking so well care of us
We selected Kikwetu among other Kenyan agencies after smooth email and WhatsApp exchanges with Kenneth, tailoring our itinerary and lodge preferences. Our guide Livingstone provided excellent wildlife spotting in the National Parks and pleasant drives through the country side, with interesting conversations. We opted for a second week on lovely Wasini Island, and Kikwetu organised further transport to Mombasa and train tickets back to Nairobi. Thanks Kikwetu for taking so well care of us. We can warmly recommend this Team to other families.
