Trek Afrika made our vacation fantastic!
I was searching for safari operator on this site, send few requests to different operators. I got a very fast response from Trek Afrika. Victor sent the proposal and we started to discuss our first trip to Kenya, turned out Victor can organise not only safari but our whole 11 days vacation, including stays in Diani beach, Mombasa in addition to 5 days safari. The final proposal was really tailored for all the requests that we had (the only problem I had was to chose from so many options of hotels and lodges sent by Victor 😂). At the end we were taken care by Victor and his team from the moment we landed in Mombasa until we departed, we did not need to care about any single detail, all days were planned. Victor offered a lot of options of different activities, so we had romantic sunset canoe cruise on Kongo river (surrounded by mangrove trees and many different birds), excursion to Wasini island and searching for dolphins (we were very lucky to see them). In one the days my husband had the birthday and Victor recommended and booked the incredible restaurant in a cave (Ali Barbour’s caves), really must visit while staying in Diani. Next days we on safari, changing locations every day and staying in the most incredible lodges (Salt Lick, Kipalo hills, Elerai and Ol Tukai). Our driver Willy was vey professional and experienced, so we could really see many many animals! The emotions of meeting the wild life and animals are hardly described in words… Last days we stayed in Mombasa, we were taken on a city tour by Stan, who answered all the questions we had about Kenya.
I would highly recommend Trek Afrika, if you are looking for reliable, safe and very attentive service in Kenya, Victor and his team made our trip as exciting and memorable as possible and we already have ideas for next trip to this beautiful country!
PS. We were presented with proper safari hats by Victor which was very useful ☺️

Wonderful tour guide, well organised and good value for money
My daughter and I booked the 10 day Best of Uganda tour. Our tour guide Tim was fantastic. His passion and knowledge of animals and birds was inspiring and we felt like we were travelling with a friend rather than a tour guide. Highlights included the game drives, Murchison Falls, chimps, river cruises to see hippos, birds and elephants and the walk with the Rhinos. The most incredible experience was undoubtedly the gorilla trek. We hired a porter to help us on the trek and it was the best decision we made as she helped us navigate the often difficult terrain. We were so close to our gorilla family, it was truly amazing. The accommodations were mostly very good with friendly and helpful staff. Another highlight was to see local life as we drove through the villages, and a visit to a local primary school at Ishasha. Tim, we can’t thank you enough for a wonderful trip.

4 day safari
Had a great experience on the 4 day safari. The serengeti was the highlight. The driver was excellent at finding animals and thoroughly knowledgeable about them and the environment. Would recommend this trip to anyone interested in african wildlife.

Our experience with Gerald, our guide, was amazing from start to finish. He was on time, knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and was accommodating to our needs at all times. We had a fantastic three day tour and everything was seamless from start to finish. Could not have asked for anything more for our first Africa experience

We had the pleasure of booking a tour with Bencia Africa for our adventure to Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the organization was flawless. Knowledgeable, efficient, thoughtful and thorough
From the first point of contact with James to the after trip care, these guys could not have done more. James helped put the itinerary together, liaising constantly to make sure the trip suited our needs. The plan when it came through was perfect and the trip itself lived up to the expectations.
Glen, our driver, could not have done more to ensure the trip went well. His knowledge of the animals and birds was amazing and we saw a great range of species. He added other elements to the itinerary at short notice including he and James coordinating the collection of an unexpected late arrival of one of the party.
I wholeheartedly recommend these guys to make your Kenya experience one in a million. Thanks James and Glen

Unprofessional
My experience with Tegu Tours and Safari could be sum up as follows.
My girlfriend and I booked a tour with:
- afternoon game drive the first day: didn’t happen;
- a Jeep: there wasn’t, there was a van
- 2 full days in Mara, we spend half of the second stuck into a savana because of the van;
- in the morning of the second day we started at 9am safari and not a 7am;
- the second Mara day we were with a new first group and we did the same things of the first day, wasting our money and time;
- the second day at Mara they put us in danger because the driver didn’t call the ranger to rescue us and we were on the grass after the park was closed (illegal) and we got split up without knowing when we were going to see each other again (very worried) because we were in Africa and we had to rely on people who were not transparent at all;
- the second night we booked Lenchada Camp, we were forced to go to a different accomodation because our reserved tend was given to other clients;
- they weren’t able to switch us in a Jeep although there was availability;
- we were treated disrespectfully and unprofessionally by the staff of this company during all the vacation.
After 4 days with these disrespectful people we changed company and we kept going our trip perfectly, enjoying the beauty of this magic country.

A beautifull canoing Safari on the Zambesi
I went on a canoe safari with a friend of mine from Chirundu to Manapools. It was a wonderful experience, we saw many hippos, crocodiles and elephants. Even a herd of buffaloes joined us during a lunch. We had a great time with the guides, who were very knowledgeable and able to understand and communicate with the animals so that every situation was safe. Sleeping in tents on the islands in the middle of the Zambezi immersed in the sounds of the animals and completely disconnected from civilisation makes the experience even more adventurous.

Amazing! Everything about this experience is 10/10
My partner and I came here for our honeymoon and it was the best experience. The safari itself was out of this world and we saw so many animals and seeing them in their natural habitat is unreal. The guides were knowledgable and friendly and always made us feel safe.
Aside from the safari, the service is 10/10. Everyone is so friendly and always looking to help in any way. If you’re debating what experience to choose, the river lodge at Kapama is the one! Will definitely be returning 🙌🏼
