Serengeti Safari with Agama Tours and Safaris Company
I decided at the last minute to fit in a Serengeti Safari, Agama were very quick to respond with a schedule and a very reasonable quote. My driver and cook were very helpful and friendly, the food was great. A camping safari is always an adventure, and I was well informed where there would be charging facilities and hot/cold showers. The vehicle was not brand new, but perfectly acceptable. Saw the big 5, plus heaps of amazing things.

Namib Desert Trail 2015
The Namib Desert Trail was so beautiful that I have to think of it over and over again: The incredible landscape, the nights under the stars and under the full moon, wrapped in a cozy eiderdown, the nice food, the long riding days, the great horses with their different personalities, the intense experience of nature - all this makes me already think of a follow-up... The trail is run by a very professional and motivated team, which took exemplary care of the guests and the horses. But the horses were the real heroes: Motivated and almost tirelessly they carried us through the desert. Particular highlights are also their gentleness, affability and balance. The Namib Desert Trail will remain an unforgettable experience for me!

Beyond Amazing!
The communication and service was excellent! Go2Africa exceeded my expectations. The safari tour was so very exciting and I have to say, my tour guide was very knowledgable. In addition, I had the best day / night drives and saw various animals. I saw my favorite animal (lions) every day. Hiking deeply connected me to even the smallest things. Lunch in the open and that was the most incredible experience. I also went to a village and met a chief and his family. The greatest experience was listening to animals at night and taking it all in. This is the way a real safari should be. Thank you Go2Africa for the excellent service and experience. I will be back next year.

Trip of our life in masai mara
Our safari to Masai Mara through Kenya tour budget safari it was the perfect safari we ever have in our life to Kenya. The staffs were great, setting everything up for us and making it very easy. Our driver guide was we experienced, talking and sharing with us throughout the safari, showing us all of the animals in Masai Mara , and helping us to experience all that we could of the park. The safari was good than I could have imagined. The camp was very nice and well arranged, with good accommodations in the tents. The food was very good, and the service was great. It was a great value for our money. I would definitely recommend it.

Review about Makgadikgadi Pans National Park by James R Rye
In Makagadikgadi there were fewer tourists and the roads are quite sandy so a 4x4 is a necessity. The Rhino are very elusive and hardly anyone sees them, there were lots of birds and elephant, the scenery was stunning.

Review about Chobe National Park by James R Rye
Chobe is one of the eaier Safari parks where the roads are easily passable and the wildlife is plentiful. We stayed at Senyati just outside the park, which had an excellent waterhole complete with a hide so that you could get close to the elephants who came to drink in the evenings.

Driving holiday in Botswana
We started our holiday in Victoria Falls and drove through Botswana and Namibia to get to Windhoek. We hired a Nissan Pickup with a roof tent, which is the perfect way to explore this part of the world at your own pace. The part of the Okavango Delta that we saw was beautiful, we stayed at Swamp Stop and Drotsky's camp. Both come highly recommended, but watch out for the cheeky vervet monkeys - they steal anything.
An Okavango highlight was going on a river cruise where we saw many interesting birds such as fish eagles, Jesus birds, bee-eaters as well as reptiles including monitor lizards and crocodiles. At the time of year we went, there can be heavy rainfall, so we visited a world heritage site at Tsodilo Hills where we saw ancient cave paintings. The heavy rain meant that the road/track was very muddy and it was necessary to have a 4x4 in order to access the site.
This part of Botswana is certainly off the beaten track with hundreds of kilometers between food and fuel stops, so make sure you go prepared! Highly recommended. Check out some of my photos here:

Review about Botswana by James R Rye
Botswana is an excellent safari destination, there are easy safari's such as the one in Chobe where the roads are easily passable and the wildlife is plentiful. You can also do more challenging safaris such as the one in Makagadikgadi where there are fewer tourists and the roads are quite sandy. Botswana has a reputation for being expensive and whilst there are many luxury lodges, it is possible to do the holiday on a budget. Our biggest expenses were the flights and car hire.

The organisation, meeting at Kili airport, lodges and game drives was perfectly in order.
Our trip was based on our own wishes, but also on usefull advices from 'Intent on Safari'. The trip therefore came out very well balanced between drives, good food, sufficient rest and nice contacts with the local population.
While enjoying our game drives from Tarangire Safari Lodge, our driver/guide Joseph told us all about the wildlife on the way. As he was an intelligent chap, we were also able discuss with him in a positive way the various challenges facing the young nation Tanzania.
Tarangire Safari Lodge, right in the Natioinal Park, is a real top location with beautiful views friendly staff, excellent food and lots of animals around. Though not in high season we saw lions (and a kill), giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, the most colorful birds, lots of elephants on almost every possible location, etc, etc.
On the way back we stayed at Rivertrees lodge, close to Arusha and Kilimanjaro Airport, but at a very quiet bush location.
All in all a wonderful trip. Would do it again!
