Transtrek exceeded all our expectations
We were looking for a holiday of a lifetime to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and decided a safari could be just that
We contacted Daniel, who was able to guide us through the options, and helped us to plan a bespoke holiday based on their Wilderness and Waves package. He was always prompt in dealing with our questions, and was flexible with our start date, as we were organizing our own flights. He provided us with a fantastic, detailed itinerary.
Throughout our trip, Peter was our driver as well as our guide. We started in Nairobi National Park working our way through Amboseli, Tsavo West, Saltlick, Tsavo East and then on to Chale Island. Peter was an excellent guide, and we saw even more animals than we imagined we would. Peter dealt with all the passes for the different parks, and booking us into the accommodation on route. All the accommodation whether tents, lodges or hotels was of a very high standard, as was the food.
The 4 night stay on Chale Island topped off the holiday perfectly! A lovely time to relax before going home.
We really did have the holiday of a lifetime, and can wholeheartedly recommend Transtrek to anyone looking for the same.

Very well organized safari
Really well organized safari. They offered suggestions and we build the trip together. Fast response to my questions.
The driver called Franco was excellent!!! Lots of knowledge and well planned. Flexible and with lots of alternative ideas that made the trip special. Clean new car with lots of space! We asked to go to a church worship on the Sunday and he organized it and it was such a great experience.
Overall we had a amazing time, saw lots of animals and really enjoyed our time.
We thank our guide Franco and the team in the family leisure safari company.
Next time I will choose the most expensive hotels especially in Masai Mara park as the quality of the hotels in the medium category was vey bad.

Visiting Arusha
Found the tour company through my hotel front desk recommendation & we are not disappointed. Emmanuel took us to the water fall even went down with us to the fall. He took us to the Arusha park & found a good spot to see the eild animals & as he predicted the animals came out & we were able to see quite few of them. He drooped us at JRO airport on time. Him & his team are very friendly, knowledgable about Arusha & its surroundings. I even met his French speaking guide so I was able to brush ip my french also

5 days in nature. Legit slept in a tent 5 meters away from wild buffaloes
Loved every bit of the trip. Managed to see all big five animals and much more. Wanted to mention that you shouldn’t be afraid to sleep in the campsites because the views are amazing and you get to see wildlife from really close. Everything was organized very well. Mali is the top of all the guides in this region and if you want good food ask for Simba, you will not be disappointed. When booking a shared safari it seems to be hit or miss with the companions you are getting so I think I would take private tour instead if I went to such safari ever again.

A wonderful experience
We are just back from an amazing 11 day trip through Kenia and Tanzania with Blends of Africa. Overall we have had a wonderful trip. Months before I started with my search for this trip and I compared several companies here. I asked for around 6 price quotes. Blends was the only company that gave us a detailed quote instead of just a price. So I decided to to choose for them. I had contact with Mary from the office. She is wonderful. Together we customised the trip exactly as we would like to have it and meanwhile she gave us a lot of useful information.
The safari itself was wonderful. We stayed in beautiful camps (some I picked my self). The guides were very nice as well. The Kenia guide was slightly less experienced but after bringing this up Mary immediately took action for the 2th part our Tanzania safari. The Tanzania Guide Ledgar was wonderful and we had a nice click with him. He is very experienced and showed us wonderful things.
The only thing that you should keep in mind is that the roads are bad and take sometimes more time then suggested but well this is Africa and also a part of the experience. The only thing I would do different is to choose the camps or lodgings close or even in the parks. The animals are most active during the early morning hours or late afternoon hours and it is a pitty if the park entrance is 1-1,5 hrs driving because then you miss partly the best time of the day. But still we have seen a lot and we are the company very grateful for a wonderful experience.
Thank you so much Blends of Africa.

Great service and staff!
Great adventure! The service was at a very high level - the accommodations were excellent, the food in all places was very tasty and in sufficient quantity! The car was cleaned every day and bottles of water were provided. I definitely recommend choosing a 4-day safari, because then you can really experience all the magic of Tanzania - from the animals to the beautiful natural views!
Our guide Melita was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions of interest!

Beautiful animals, amazing tour guide, delicious food!
The experience of a lifetime! The Safari guide Melita was awesome. He was a skilled and safe driver as the terrain is very difficult. Always made sure we had everything we needed. He was knowledgeable in regard to animals. He answered all of our weird and not so weird 😁 questions and shared many facts about the animals.
The accommodations were better than we expected. And the food was amazing!! Really delicious. Could not find one place where we had something that we did not like.
Overall a great experience.
Recommend choosing also a bush camp for at least one day.
