The guides/drivers are the one who make this experience unforgettable. I had 3 drivers for this 7 day trip and all 3 were amazing and had 10/15 years of experience in this industry. David who we began with for the first day, Andrew who I spent most of days with and Richard who I spent the final 2 days with.
I genuinely don’t have any negative things to say about them, I’d highly recommend the company and guides whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple or even a big family. They were extremely accommodating to all the requests of the passengers in the group.
The guides are extremely educated with knowledge about the animals, places, plants and everything about Kenya, Andrew found me probably the best binoculars in Africa somehow and I used them for the entire trip, he’s probably also the funniest driver they have at Jocky. Richard’s knowledge about birds and the different types of animals was amazing, and David’s politeness and care for the passengers was unbeatable.
I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again for Kenyan safaris.

Absolutely everything I was looking for - kind, extremely knowledgeable guides and a perfect tour
I cannot say enough about African Bush Explorers, especially Samuel. I met him for a day tour of Hells Gate and immediately wanted to do more with him. He’s a conservation expert and I learned so much about the animals, the ecosystem and overall culture from him. I also have to give a big thank you to David and James, who are also wonderful, so much fun and so knowledgeable. We did a 4 day tour to Amboseli and Tsavo East, ending at the train to Mombasa. As a solo female traveler, I can say I felt very very safe with these guys and would recommend to any other solo travelers (or groups). We saw so many incredible animals and landscapes. This won’t be my last tour with them!
My only feedback is that I think I could have saved money by doing cheaper lodges (my fault for not asking) - and I’d also have loved the chance to support Kenyan businesses instead of those run by foreigners.

Trip of a lifetime!
We just finished a 3-day tour with Lulu Safaris and I cannot recommend them enough. We were met at the airport by Simon, our guide, and Allan, who was completing his orientation. We were so lucky to have two amazing guides with us during the entire trip. Even though we had been traveling for over 30 hours at that point, they both made the long drive to Bwindi fun and enjoyable. They took care of everything from start to finish, and made sure to add little touches along the way that made the tour even better. We were in Uganda to see gorillas, and it was so nice to have Lulu Safaris handle permits, lodging, food, and everything else we needed. Gorilla trekking was unforgettable — one of the best experiences of my life — and the rest of our short time in Uganda was also lovely learning about the culture and history. The lodge that they booked for us was also wonderful. This felt like a very good value and there is nothing I would change about our experience. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer tour! We will be back to Uganda again soon and will book all future tours with Lulu Safaris (and hopefully get to have Simon and Allan as our guides again)!

Ugandan adventure with helpful and friendly staff!
We had a great adventure with Lulu's safaris. Simon was a great guide and we had the bonus of having Allan along with us. Both were very knowledgeable about all things Ugandan and were able to answer all of our many questions and added many stories and anecdotes. They communicated well and were always where we needed them to be. I would highly recommend Lulu's safaris!

A very good guide! Basically, we saw all the animals we wanted to see. Although the guide didn't understand what we were saying in Chinese, he would ask us if we wanted to stop and take pictures every time we exclaimed, and asked if we had finished taking pictures before we could continue.
