a real once in a lifetime experience which is deeply going int our hearts and never forgotten
At the end of August we went on a safari with Savannah explorer ltd. for 7 days / 8 nights as a small family (2 adults + 10 year old girl).
I found savannah explorer because it is always important to us to book with a company in the country we are traveling to so that our holiday budget goes to the people in the country and not to large office buildings and wages in Europe!
The organization by Micky in the office in Arusha was very quick and perfect, implemented and fulfilled all of our wishes, all at a very fair price-performance ratio! We also thought it was great that part of our money automatically went to certain local aid projects!
Micky also made it possible for us to get a German-speaking guide (our girl doesn't speak any foreign languages yet).
Daniel (our guide) picked us up at Kilimanjaro airport in the jeep, the next morning we set off: Arusha, Tarangire NP, lake Manyara NP, 3 days Serengeti including great migration, Ngorongoro NP, Arusha.
Daniel spoke great German and was a very pleasantly calm and patient personality, but there was never a lack of fun. As a driver (keyword “African massage”) and mechanic he was also first class. He showed us everything we wanted to see and answered all 10,000 questions we had. We also learned a lot of Swahili from him! We saw all the big 5 and ugly 5, all the animals that were on our list, the great migration on the 2nd attempt the next morning (because the wildebeest were too cowardly to go into the water the day before)
The lodge (Ngorongoro marera mountain view lodge 3 nights) and the tented camps (Serengeti Kifaru tented camps - 2 nights) and mara pure migration camp (1 night) belong to savannah explorer ltd and are a real highlight of the trip! The lodge is in the middle of nature (more like a jungle), in the tented camps you are amazed at what is possible so far away from civilization! Everything is super clean, perfectly furnished, always warm water, light and electricity in the tent, the dinner and breakfast as well as the packed lunch are very good quality and tasty! At night the grazing zebras and the playing, eating elephants, lions, hyenas and wildebeest right around the tent are very exciting and an amazing experience! But we always felt very safe and protected! The best thing about the lodges and camps are the people who work there, who are all so cheerful and passionate about their work that you feel as if you were being greeted as good old friends! At breakfast or farewell, the chef, waiter, etc. sing a little song. My girl was given a Simba Sportclub Trickot (a dream for her!) We have never experienced such hospitality anywhere in the world!!!
You can never get enough of the “street life” between the national parks, smiling people waving everywhere, colorful shops, fruit stands, overcrowded buses and other means of transport, Maasai, buildings in all shapes, colors and sizes, wonderfully diverse nature.
Finally, Daniel drove with us to a school near Mto wa Mbu where we distributed the school supplies we had brought with us. This experience touched all of our hearts and we all had tears of emotion in our eyes at the joy and enthusiasm of the children, teachers and parents!
All in all, this safari with Daniel and Savannah Explorer touched us very deeply and was incomparably great! A real “once in a lifetime” experience that we can highly recommend to everyone!

Great time
We made one week safari through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater and it was an unforgettable experience. There was not even a small thing to complain on this trip. Organization, accommodation and food were excellent. We were also very happy with our Guide. His name is Everest.
All in all,- I can strongly recommend this company

Amazing Namibia trip through untouched landscapes with plenty of animal encounters
Namibia exceeded all expectations on our last trip. We were surprised by the many animal encounters and the incredibly vast landscapes.
We had the privilege of experiencing a 14 day trip tailored to our wishes and needs. The accommodation was very comfortable, integrated into the landscape, ecologically managed and with excellent service. The philosophy of Natural Selection as well as Gondswana convinced us. Detailed directions enabled us to drive to the accommodation ourselves. We were always warmly welcomed.
We were pleased to see that the local population can benefit from tourism while preserving nature and culture.
We always had very competent and friendly guides on our safari trips, tailoring the experience based on your interests. From elephants and lions to zebras and giraffes, we saw them all! Even the very shy black rhino. Unfortunately also the result of rhino poaching. The short distance encounter of a group of seven lions with a young one was breathtaking. But: Experience has shown that the wild is free and may not be where we are looking for it.
Some other highlights of our trip: Balloon ride with Namib Sky early in the morning, with incredibly rich breakfast in the desert after landing. Sleeping under a brilliantly clear starry sky. Rock arts, showing the past hunter-gatherer life. Hiking on the dunes of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Kayak tour to seals in the Walwis Bay. Exploring wild life in Etosha East.
We had an authentic African safari experience, a combination of stunning wildlife, incredible scenery and exceptional hospitality.

Our safari was absolutely fantastic! Baraka, our guide, was incredible and highly professional. His extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna was impressive, and he answered all of our questions with ease. Thanks to his expert driving, we managed to see the Big 5. This was truly an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Bosco was friendly and knowledgeable and an excellent off road driver!
I loved that Abdullie from Wito Africa Safari took care of everything. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania to when we left we were taken care of. Didn’t have to think about anything. Our tour guide Bosco was there to pick us up and take us on safaris . He was friendly and knowledgeable and a very safe driver. Beautiful hotels with all the amenities were booked for us, we are beyond pleased with the whole trip. We felt safe at all times.

I HIGHLY recommend Lion King Adventures for all of your safari needs. We did a 8 day budget camping safari. Lion King provided a once in a lifetime experience! This trip exceeded our expectations beyond what we could ever imagine. Nickson was very responsive when communicating throughout the various stages of planning this trip.
Our Arusha city guide, Simon, was wonderful! From the time he picked up us at Kilimanjaro airport to taking us to a cooking class to providing a city tour our first day he was attentive and great.
Our safari guide, Gama, and Kareem the cook were both amazing! Gama with his experience as being a guide provided us with outstanding opportunities to see animals. We were able to get some wonderful shots and videos. He was attentive and considerate with my 75 year old mother throughout the trip. He was knowledgeable and answered any questions we had about the animals and local culture. A wonderful person to be around! Kareem was great with preparing food each day. It tasted great! He hit it out of the park each day.
The hot air balloon safari was magical. The scenery and animals were amazing to see from above. The staff were friendly and professional. And took care of everyone.
The budget safari with camping was a great experience. The staff at each location were very friendly. Being able to hear lions roar to hyena's at night was quite the experience!
11/10 experience! Ask for Gama as your safari guide!

Fantastic safari adventure from an excellent tour operator
5 day tour is a very good value. All day game drives in multiple areas provide a great opportunity to see the big five animals and many others as well. We saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, elephants, zebras, giraffes, baboons and more. It was a great trip.

Unforgettable experience
Amazing experience with Kilipath ☺️ From the preparation and the adaptation to my needs, to the follow up of my 2 day safari, and even the care of returning me to the airport. Heavenligth was lovely in each and every moment, being useful and comprehensive with my changes. The safari driver (Ali) did a great job, helping us through and respecting the wildlife (much more than others). Surely, I’ll repeat Tanzania, and obviously with Kilipath
