Wonderful tour experience curtesy of our tour guide Dickson!
Now I have to be honest and give a fair review. There are some pros and cons to this tour company. Firstly, we did receive the quote and the initial interactions with Viktor through WhatsApp were good. He communicated that one of our lodges (the one we booked the tour for) was not available on the date we would be there so we discussed this and moved the whole tour back a day making this available. However, communication with Viktor can be a bit hit and miss. When we were paying for the tour we did this in two payments. The first time we used PesaPal which was successful. However, Viktor did not communicate with us that it was taking 5% of the cost so when we came to do this again we were asked for another $100 - this was rectified. However, the
communication whilst on tour (from Viktor) in regards to transfers from airports was sluggish.
For the pros: our tour guide, Dickson was AMAZING! He is the reason I could not give any less than 5 stars. He went out of his way to help us in any way he could. His knowledge of the animals and parks was brilliant and he was very professional throughout. He kept us extremely safe when driving to and from the parks. Dickson is brilliant at spotting animals we had missed and always checked with other drivers where different animals were so we could get a very broad range. We never felt rushed or pressured to move away from an animal. Dickson was always prompt and organised ready for a game drive with plenty of water. He also taught us a lot about the Kenyan culture and is a smiley happy man who is a great laugh.
In conclusion, the tour is a magical experience although there were a few bumps in the road. It is an experience we will always remember and that’s mainly due to Dickson.

Best Safari Ever
Hyrax Safaris is the best choice for your safari. It is a very serious and competent company; they solve any problem you may have.
Our driver, Sammy, was very professional. He is also a very good guide; in the Masai Mara we saw the big five in just one day!
We did the six-day tour and it is really perfect. The accommodation is great and the company helps you whenever you need it.
I highly recommend this safari and this company.

Truly an amazing safari experience!
We had an unforgettable 6-day mid-range private safari, expertly organized by Mwema Africa Safaris. Our itinerary included the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli. The goal of our trip to Kenya was to experience its rich wildlife, witness the Great Migration, see the Big 5, and catch the iconic view of Mount Kilimanjaro. As first-time safari-goers, we wanted to make the most of every moment – and thanks to Simon and our incredible driver and guide, Richard, our dream came true!
The entire trip was exceptionally well-organized. Simon was fantastic, providing fast and clear communication through WhatsApp. He was flexible, accommodating all our requests, including adding an extra day to our original itinerary and swapping Lake Naivasha for Lake Nakuru.
One of the best decisions we made was upgrading our vehicle from a van to a Land Cruiser – absolutely worth it! It made a huge difference in comfort and the overall experience.
Richard, our guide, was a true gem. His passion for wildlife and his deep knowledge, gained over more than 10 years of experience, was evident throughout. He had an amazing ability to know exactly where and when to find animals, from cheetahs and lions to elephants and giraffes. His keen eyes also helped us spot more elusive animals hidden in the parks. He was thoughtful, patient, and ensured we had an incredible close-up experience with Kenya’s wildlife.
This safari exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t thank Simon and Richard enough for making it a trip of a lifetime!

He cheated us, took our money but dont paid to hotel, park fee etc.
Bongo International travel is real cheater from our experience, he does not book anything after taking money. I had pay to hotel etc as i was standing outside the hotel. I paid twice for my trip.

The team made our trip to Kenya very memorable for us. It was super smooth from start to finish, the stays were top notch and all the logistics were well taken care of. From creating an customised itinerary to ensuring we are having a good time at the camps, the team was always present. We especially enjoyed the hospitality from all staff that we interacted with at the camps and the extent that they went to to ensure we were comfortable. All of our requests were accommodated. The money you pay is definitely worth it as we didn’t have to worry about anything other than booking our tickets to Kenya.
The whole safari experience was wonderful and Chalo Africa team made it even more memorable. We will definitely recommend them to all family and friends, and will reach out them the next time we go to Africa.

Everything was great!
We did a 5 day safari with Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
It was a really great experience, we had a great guide, Ezekiel, who was very knowledgeable and very interested in the animals and nature. The safari was very well organized and the accommodations were great!

Unforgettable, excellent trip!

We booked our private Kenya trip (12 days) with Meektrails and we can only recommend it!
The first part of our trip was the climb of Mount Kenya. We were accompanied by Elija's wonderful team who carried our backpacks all the way up and down, settled our tents, provided us with the best, freshly prepared food (they carried it up the mountain!) and learned us all secrets the mountain had for us. They were always ready for us, we could not have had a better experience.
Part two of our trip were a series of safaris with our guide Philippe. We had high expectations and they were only beaten. Philippe really has a passion for the animals and in every park we visited (Nakuru, Masai Mara, Naivasha, Hell's gate, Amboselli), he showed us every corner and every animal the park had to offer. We realize we had a bit of luck to see all these animals, but we also felt like Philippe really knew where to wait for them and he had a good communication with other guides in the park, so we could catch up with them if they saw a specific animal. We do love animals ourselves and we came to discover as much animals as possible and to learn new facts about them. For us, it felt like the perfect match with our guide, he really shared his passion and told us so many interesting facts. It was always discussed at which hour we would meet in the morning and also during safari it was always asked if we were satisfied to go back to the hotel. We even had a game drive from 7am until 6pm because we (and also our guide) could not get enough of it. Every day we ended in a beautiful lodge where we could enjoy good food and a good night of sleep. In most lodges there was also a swimming pool to relax, although we did not want to make time to use those.
Our complete trip was arranged by Pauline, she was always ready for any questions we had. We had contact via WhatsApp. She even bought us train tickets to visit the coast after our meektrails trip because I could not book these tickets from home (only accepted payment M-Pesa, which I did not have). Also the transition between part 1 (mountain) and part 2 (safari) was smoothly, our mountain guide was in contact with our safari guide, so by the time we came out of the mountain, the minivan for our safari was waiting for us.
Maybe one last recommendation: we did the complete trip with a minivan and did not pay the extra fee for a landcruiser and we would recommend that! It was a comfortable car, the roof could be opened and we really had a good view.
