A worthy experience seeing big five in the wilds
5/5

The experience in Masai Mara is a lifetime memory for us. Stayed at one of the best luxury camps of Masai Mara. Incredible 4 days and experiences lived! Being close to two meters away from the leopards, lions, elephants, cheetah and other animals was an incredible thing. Thanks to our guide, the best without doubt!
Thank you African Sermon Safari!

Very reliable and everything is very well organized, it was a fun day .
5/5

I made a really great safari in Mikumi National Park with Ndaki. Everything fit perfectly from the beginning. I made the booking spontaneously that was no problem.
He picked me / us in a good mood, punctually at six o'clock.
Transfer to the park takes about 1.5 hours. Already on the way to the park entrance we could observe animals. In the park itself, there were more animals to watch. Had more time I would have made the two day safari that would have been worthwhile in any case. It was a cool day! Would definitely do it again.
The great thing was that Ndaki also offered shuttle services from Morogor to Dar (80 doller) and was able to deliver me punctually at the airport the next day. Very reliable and everything is very well organized.

Professional, helpful, friendly and bespoken to the client!
5/5

Last August me and my husband booked an 8 day private safari of Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, Lake Natron and Ngorongoro crater and it exceeded all of our expectations.
With Shemeji we got the professional service we were looking for. The communication with Emma was always friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. Thank you!
We indeed wondered that we did not get the guide we expected. It turned out to be perfekt for us. We were very lucky with our safari guide Edward, a very kind and helpful person with enormous knowledge oft the fauna and flora in the parks. He always tried to satisfy us and makes us feel very comfortable. We travelled just with him and the wonderful cook Pius, no other clients in the car but ourselfs, witch was the best thing for us, because we wanted to take a lot of pictures witch takes time.
To mention our cook Pius, who travelled with us and surprised us every single day with all this delicious food – unbelivable how he performed this magical meal in the middle of nowhere. It was amazing and great at the same time...thank you so much for that Pius...
Edward never brought us in a hurry and was very passioned when we once again needed a lot of time watching all these wonderful animal and spectakular landscapes..he found us the lepards laying on trees and even a python without any binoculars...I even searched it when I was directly in front.
Well, we never planned to see the „Big Five“, because we are just as interested in any african animal, like all the beautiful birds, the anthilopes and even the butterflies. But nevertheless Edward has shown us all the big ones, too. And some moments we even did not know where to look, because there were interesting animals everywhere.
It was a great time and we will honestly never forget it.
Thank you very much Edward for a wonderful and unbelievable journey!

It was a wonderfull experience
5/5

Our family lived 2 great trek of Kilimanjaro and safari into national park with the agency Transkibo and one more day to visit Kilimanjaro plantations.
First we communicated with agency about different possibilties of trek and safari (what to do, how to do it, how much, what is included or not, etc.). It was very easy, well explained and very good understanding about our delay to book. Thank you very much for your adaptability.
Once arriving, every thing was very well advised and during the trek and tour all was well organised.
We appreciated a lot information, aid and discussion with the managers who had contributed for us to continue as well as possible our journey in Tanzania.

Unbelievable and exceeding all our expectations / Family safari/trip with 3 kids (12, 8, 7)
5/5

It’s difficult to express in words what we all felt during the safari.
Thank you very very much dear Maggie for the amazing organization of our journey.
Everything was just perfect!
I was asking a lot when we were preparing our trip, I wanted to be sure that everything will go well and I always prefer to assure in advance that all will go well than do a lot of critics afterwards.… and everything exceeded our expectations! Thank you for your patience!

Hereafter a resume :
The flight from Zurich to Nairobi was perfect and very quick. We were attended by Ken. Ken… we couldn’t have a better guide and driver than him. During the whole seven days, he was very punctual, friendly, always ready to help and explained us so many things. He arranged everything perfectly and we felt in confidence with him. He drove us everywhere very safe. We had funny moments together and had good laughs!

Day 1 – Giraffe Center / David Sheldrick / Karen Blixen Coffee / National Museum : we had a lot of fun at the Giraffe Center. The Elephant Orphelinat was nice to see. We enjoyed very much Karen Blixen Coffee, the place is so relaxing and the food was good (especially the Chicken Masalam).
Day 2 – Transfer to Amboseli – KiboCamp – 1st game drive : The transfer was good and the place where we made a stop also. The welcome at the KiboCamp was very friendly. We had a family tent in the first line, next to the pool and this was perfect! The food is okay. All the people working there were extremely friendly and very professional. Our first game drive was impressive and we were very excited.
Day 3 – Game Drive Morning/afternoon – end of the morning visit at the school : The game drives were perfect. National Geographic-like. One of the highlights – a big elephant family crossing the road – stopping in front of Acacia Trees and in the back the Kilimanjaro which was without any cloud!!! The visit at the school is one of the moments which touched our hard very deep. It was a fabulous moment and they welcomed us very friendly. We went from class to class distributing hundreds of pencils. It was an affecting moment.
Day 4 – Amboseli – Naivasha – ChuiLodge : Well, the transfer is long, that’s true, so we arrived quiet late. The lodge is a haven of peace and the food is absolutely delicious. They brought us to their private access to the lake, we made a boat tour to the hippos (ca. 30min) and went then for a game drive in the private reserve. They prepared chairs, drinks, some food and we could enjoy a sun-downer in front of the fire listening to the Gnus and the hyenas. A memorable moment.
Day 5 – Transfer to Masai Mara / Mara Sarova Camp : Transfer was not too long and the tent we got was nice. The only negative point is, that this tent (11&12) is quiet far away from the reception, if they have a nearer one, you should ask for this for the next family. But we were anyway just to sleep in the room so it was okay. The first game drive was breath-robbing. We saw a simba-family with 18 members, 5 cheetahs and a lot more!
Day 6 – Whole day game drive & visit to Masai village : It was Antoines birthday. Ken was very nice with him! Ken brought us to the Masai river. We couldn’t get enough… the landscape is so beautiful. We loved the place where we stopped to have pic-nic, in the middle of nowhere under a tree, breathtaking! On the river we could assist like zebras (first 3 of them then about 10) crossed the river. The second group was attacked by a crocodile! We saw hundreds and hundreds of Gnus, male simbas… even a male and female having fun;-)… So the day was perfect. We finished it by a visit of the Masai Village . We weren't very hot to visit a tourist village, but we trusted Ken, and he took us to a "real" Masai village. The saddest and most thoughtful moment… But it was important to do it.
Day 7 – Transfer back to Wilson Airport : Good drive, perfect in time. Ken brought us even at the check-in desk and assured himself that everything is fine.

We never made vacation which were emotionally so strong as these once. The animals, the people, the landscape…
We will still need a few days/weeks to realize all we experienced.

We will recommend Bison Safari on 100% to everybody!

PS : Zanzibar was perfect too. We stayed one night in Stone Town in the Park Hyatt. Very beautiful hotel and the food is very good. Next day we visited the city (the market visit was very exciting!) and went to Nungwi to the Hideaway. Very very beautyful rooms. But there are too many peoples, the food is not very good and it’s like “everywhere” (very nice beach, not free view (there is an island not too far from the coast)). On the way to Paje, we stopped at a spice farm and made a tour. Very interesting. The last two nights we spent in Paje in the White Sands Luxury Beach Resort…. Absolutely perfect! The beach, the sea, the ambiance, the villas (with privat pool), the food, the director, the staff… a no fault!!! We do recommend this hotel and the place. We should have had one more night there.

If anybody would like to ask me more details or advises, don't hesitate!

The only place we saw mosquitos was in Nairobi...

Professional and very helpful company with great service
5/5

We booked our 5 day camping safari with Swala safaris and it was perfect safari experience. It was our first time safari and Rose was highly professional to suggest best options for us. It was well organized, we were picked up from bus station and all our transfers were arranged prior and after safari. We had the best cook possible - Abdela. He is a wonderful and very expierenced cook and treated us very good (compared to other companies seen troughout the safari). Also our driver was highly professional and safe (no issues whatsoever).
Overall I would definitely recommend Swala safaris and do another trip with them if I was visiting again.

Friendly and ontime, yet flexible to carter customers requirements
5/5

So I and My wife just got married and thought I should take my wife to one of the national parks in the country, since she has never been to any. A friend recommended LBR tours to make our honeymoon a best experience.
I liked the fact that they are on time and well organised to deliver customer experience during the tour,Yet very flexible to ensure the customer meets own expectations.I loved the fact that during our tour the Guide(Salehe) Had to extend some more time for us to witness the Leopard taking care of its prey(Impala) to hide it up the tree from other predators.
Another good experience was the safari vehicle that had phone,Tablet and Laptop charging system and refrigerator to keep our drinks cool, top open roof for tremendous view of wild animals and landscapes .
The Guide was another interesting synergy of the whole experience,Very knowledgeable about the animals and environment, friendly and a good communicator in Swahili,English and Spanish.I recommend this Guide(Salehe) for your amazing tour experience in Tanzania.
And lastly we were able to see the live Lilac breasted roller bird that the company bears its name in Acronym LBR Tours,Such a beautiful bird with mixed colours. No wonder LBR is as beautiful as this bird.
