Incredible Safari Tour Tailored Specificaly For Us On Our Honeymoon!
My wife and I booked a private safari through Soul of Tanzania for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did! Soul of Tanzania was incredibly supportive and helpful with designing an itinerary tailor made for our honeymoon. They helped us choose from many different accommodation types at many different price points to get exactly what was right for us. Their flexibility made planning our trip so much easier than I expected. I was so glad that we were able to include the great migration into the itinerary as well as the Ngorongoro Crater (the best parts of our trip by far)!
We spent a few nights in tented camps and a few nights in nicer lodges ("lodge" and "camp" seem to be the key terms to help differentiate the two). Never had any issues with either of them. Lodges were nicer and more permanent, some had pools to relax and better food options. Camps were more affordable, usually not permeant structures, and didn't have as many amenities, but still were nice (tents were large, there was working toilets, hot water, decent food, wine/beers/alcohol available for purchase).
I want to specifically call out that our guide, Wilson, was incredible. He was very knowledgeable, incredibly kind, accommodating, and fun. We really cannot thank him enough for being so great to us and hope that others are lucky enough to have him too.
The guide assigned to your tour can definitely make or break your trip because you spend so much time with them, you are dependent on their ability to scout animals and share information with you, and hopefully the one you are with respects laws within the parks (we saw guides from other tours throwing rocks at animals to try to get them to move around/run. It was appalling). Our guide was fun, friendly and nothing short of a professional 100% of the time!

We recently completed a 5-day safari with guide Geeman, and it was an unforgettable experience. Although we missed the Great Migration and there were some parts of the day without scheduled activities, the overall experience was fantastic. Not only were we fortunate to have an amazing group of fellow travelers, also Geeman truly made the trip exceptional. His knowledge of the wildlife, local culture, and landscapes added so much depth to each game drive, and he always made sure we got the most out of every moment.

Robin was the best! He is very knowledgeable, hardworking and fun to be around.
I highly recommend booking with jocky tours. Everything was well organized and we had an amazing time. Our tour guide Robin made our trip even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond, making sure we got the best views of the animals, taking pictures of all of us and always checking on us making sure we’re ok. He is full of knowledge and taught us so many interesting things about the animals. We had loads of fun on this tour and were well taken care of, 10/10 experience!

Lincons gave us the perfect itinerary to fit our wants, even with all the changes we kept coming up with, he handled everything with grace and kindness. Every single park location and where we stayed was dynamic, 5 incredible parks and 5 lodges. Our tour guide and driver, Samuel Kisemei, what a magnificent person, he made certain we saw 53 different different animals (of course the big 5), just an extraordinary guide. Trip of a Lifetime times a thousand!

An amazing and warm experience welcomed us to the wildlife and cultures of Africa
Warm and commutative staff, always welcoming and friendly, taking every chance to make the experience better.
We met a rare number of wild animals, knowing all their favourite places of living, with deep respect to the animals. It felt like Nelson and Michael always had the patience for us, they were wonderful with the kids and all ages.
We had the most wonderful safari, and together with our guide Sharon, made our time in Africa a dream come true and a memorable time for the rest of our life.
Super professional, knows every animal, lot's of stories and deep understanding of each animal's behaviour and habits.

ÉRIC, WHAT A BLAST!!
We were supposed to have a driver and the next day we found out that it had changed as Éric was going to take us.
AND WHAT A BLAST!!!
We hesitated a lot to do this tour, as we feared to do something too touristy and not feel the local vibe. But thanks to Eric we were to enjoy the most of it with a great feeling of being part of the trip and living the ouganda trip for real.
We had a great time with Eric, discussing a lot and gaining insights about ouganda culture, history anecdotes.
Plus, we could feel that Eric was enjoying the trip as much as us, having fun in making great game drives, testing new paths, and being as happy as us to see some animals.
In summary great guide, very professional, knowledgeable, and nice!

Horrible
The experience was a nightmare ,from the time of pickup, amount, choice of hotel and the tour guide who had no knowledge of what he does as a guide .The land cruiser was filthy with lots of mechanical problems (over heating)
The worst part was the food.

Great safari memories made for life
Booked way in advance and Julius helped me with decisions on where to go and camps to visit, our driver Dominic picked us up from the hotel in Nairobi and from then on we had a great time, lots of Masai massage with the bumpy roads but that’s to be expected, lake naivasha and Nakuru first and we had already seen 4 of the big 5 before we got to the Mara, this was my 4th safari and it’s still the best experience. Julius kept in contact while we were there and Dominic was brilliant and super knowledgeable. We got to see so many animals up close and witnessed attempted kills as well as post kills.
Communication could be better prior to arrival but you need to also know that in Kenya things are done differently than UK and polepole (slowly slowly)!is their vibe
