Our tour guide was the best!
5/5

“We had an incredible experience at Mikumi Safari Park, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Stephano Bonice. His knowledge of the park was exceptional, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. We were able to enjoy so many unforgettable moments, and we couldn’t have done it without him.

Stephano was incredibly patient and accommodating when we needed to adjust our plans later in the day, always with a positive attitude. His dedication and expertise truly made our visit special.

Thank you, Stephano, for making our adventure unforgettable. Highly recommended!”

Amazing budget-friendly adventure
5/5

My sister and I went on a 6-day joining safari with Meru Slopes & Tours back in October, and it was an amazing adventure. We chose the “6 day wildebeest migration” package and yes, we got to see two river crossings! All in all we experienced many beautiful and awe-inspiring sightings across Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. By the end, we all wished we had been able to spend more time in the safari. In addition, the group we were assigned with was great and it’s one of the reasons both of us enjoyed the safari so much.

Meru Slopes provides great attention the moment you contact them. I first contacted them through their email form, and got into contact with Jerome, who was very helpful in booking the safari and even offered us a small discount. The payment process was very easy, and if you happen to be in Tanzania a few weeks before the safari (say, for Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro) you can even deposit the advance fee in person at a local NMB branch, saving you some transfer fees. Jerome also helped us coordinate an additional stay at the hotel and the airport transfer, which was very useful. The moment you arrive in Arusha you are in Meru Slopes’ care, which I really appreciated.

Stanley, our driver and guide, accompanied us all days. He is a very skilled driver and has a great eye for positioning and anticipating where animals where approach. He helped us achieve some really great sightings of lions and cheetahs which where one of the many highlights of our safari. He is also very knowledgeable and friendly, and was always on time to depart very early in the morning to make the most of our days. Our cook, Johannes, always provided very bountiful and delicious meals, and he was always in a great mood. I personally noticed some similarities with my home country’s cooking so I enjoyed the food a lot.

The accommodations where quite good considering the budget. The tents in the camp sites are more comfortable than I expected, and at Serengeti you get to spend the night surrounded by nature and hearing animals nearby, under a beautiful starry sky, which is simply unforgettable. Though the weather was not very kind to us that week, with some rainy days, Meru Slopes still did their best to accommodate for it. We also did not manage to spot leopards or rhinos, but after everything else we saw, I really can’t complain.

In summary, an amazing adventure, highly recommended, and at a great price.

Hands down the best tour ever!
5/5

Absolutely incredible experience with Stephano from Smile With Us Tours on our 3-day safari, especially our unforgettable day in Mikumi National Park!

Stephano is hands-down one of the best guides we’ve ever had—knowledgeable, calm under pressure, and full of passion for wildlife and Tanzanian culture. Despite it being rainy season—which always brings a few surprises—he handled every challenge with total professionalism and an easygoing attitude that kept the day flowing smoothly.

We were thrilled to spot 3 of the Big Five (elephants, buffalo, and lions!) amidst the lush green scenery of Mikumi. The park itself is a hidden gem, especially during the wet season when the landscape bursts into vibrant life. Herds of zebra and wildebeest grazed the plains, giraffes moved elegantly through the trees, and hippos wallowed happily in flooded pools.

After our game drive, Stephano took us on a fascinating visit to a Maasai village—a truly eye-opening cultural experience. The warmth and hospitality of the Maasai people, their traditions, and their songs and dances added such depth to our trip. It was humbling and unforgettable.

We ended the day at Camp Bastian, a charming eco-lodge tucked into the forest with great food, friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere to unwind after an action-packed day.

This safari was the perfect mix of adventure, nature, and culture, all made possible by Stephano’s expert guiding. Smile With Us Tours exceeded all expectations—we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

The perfect guide to discover the true heart of Uganda!
5/5

I’ve just completed an unforgettable trip to Uganda thanks to Gorilla Page Safari, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with this truly unique experience!

From the very first contact, the team was professional, helpful, and attentive to all my needs. My itinerary included a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, gorilla trekking in Bwindi, and a volunteer experience at a local school—a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and authentic cultural connection.

The local guide was exceptional: knowledgeable, punctual, and deeply familiar with the land, wildlife, and Ugandan culture. I especially want to thank Isaac, who made every day special with his enthusiasm, empathy, and constant support. Traveling alone and with some initial hesitation, I found in him a reassuring presence who always made me feel safe and cared for.

Uganda is a wonderful and authentic country, and thanks to them I was able to explore it with total peace of mind. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone looking for a meaningful, well-organized travel experience that captures the true essence of the country and its people.

an extraordinary experience of the amazing beauty and rare wildlife of northern Kenya
5/5

I took part in a 3-day Samburu Safari with Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris, and honestly, the experience was beyond our expectations. Our guide was very experienced and very well explained about the animals and the environment. We felt safe, comfortable, and well-organized throughout the trip. The Samburu region was quite different—much less crowded, more wild, and with a quietness of nature. It is a unique experience to get a chance to see special wildlife such as the reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Grevy's zebra. It was really fascinating to see crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River and enjoy the sunset in that environment. I must say, if you want to taste the lesser-known but extremely rich nature and wildlife of Northern Kenya, then this 3-day Samburu Safari will be an excellent choice for you..

WHAT A TRIP!!
5/5

What an amazing trip! Salum, Godbless and the entire staff at Uzuri made this a trip to remember. This wasn't our first safari, and won't be our last, but the "Uzuri difference" would make it hard to ever book with someone else. Here are some of the meaningful differences: While most other safari guests would have boxed lunches, ours was always a home cooked warm, family style meal - every morning we came out to the Land Cruiser that Salum had obviously spent time cleaning and getting ready for us - all of our lodging selections were top notch - it was clear that Salum was one of the most respected guides in the country - every time we stopped it seems like he knew everyone there and his experience and knowledge made for an unforgettable trip.
