Organised operator, excellent guides
I chose Lulu after shopping around a bit and finding that they were well priced and, importantly, incredibly responsive. I chatted to Elvis on WhatsApp and he very quickly prepared detailed itinerary documentation based on my needs, including a few iterations.
From an excellent start, the tour itself only gets better. I meet my two guides, Simon and Simon Peter in Kasese. They have just such a great energy. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. The vehicle is clean and comfortable.
Over the next 6 days we have such great adventures. Each of the activities was so much fun. The chimp and gorilla trekking delivered in spades. All the time my guides are keeping me informed on the natural and cultural phenomena of Uganda. When we share meals (I was travelling solo, so very happy for the company!) we laugh and joke and just have such a great time.
At every point Simon and Simon Peter make sure I’m comfortable, have what I need, and am well informed about the plan for each day. They are both professional and personable - and I’m happy to call them good friends after our time spent together.
Overall, I would happily book again with Lulu. They were fantastic :)

Perfect itinerary to see everything
We initially chose ESTLEON Adventures because of the itinerary. It covered all the things we wanted to see. It was spot on. A perfect 7 days to see everything Kenya had to offer. Each park had a highlight.
Amboseli we saw so many elephants it was overwhelming, plus Baby elephants nursing. We saw Buffalos mating. Ostrich doing its mating dance, so many Zebras and elegant Giraffes.
Lake Naivasha and Nakuru we saw abundance of Giraffes play fighting, cheetahs, more Zebras and wilderbeasts. A highlight was cruising the lake and seeing the Hippos then walking amongst the Zebras, and Giraffes up close. Truly magical.
Masi Mari we saw Cheetahs hunt down an Impala. Unbelievable experience. The same day we saw a Lion eating a kill, then walk away only to watch a hyenas sneak in to eat the rest.
The accommodation was great. We liked that it was all inclusive buffet style. Always plenty of food. We paid for the upgrade to The Cliff. A real treat in the middle of our trip with the most spectacular sunrise over the lake.
Finally our Guide. 10 years experience and a diploma in Tourism. He was an absolute expect in the animals we saw. He also had good contacts with others in the parks and would find where the action was happening. 7 days is a long time to spend in a car with a stranger. But with Bernard it was easy conversation and really informative insights on the animals. We learnt so much.
The thing we learnt about a safari is “Mother nature decides when she wants to romance you” We were really lucky to see what we saw in 7 days.

Our experience with Leisure Escapes Safari was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we began organizing our trip, Esther made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. She was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions with patience and clarity, ensuring we felt confident and excited about our upcoming adventure. Esther also went above and beyond when helping me plan a surprise proposal with one of the lodges, and gave me suggestions on how to make this perfect.
We embarked on the 6-night, 7-day safari package, exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara. Each destination was phenomenal, offering its own unique charm and specialties. The lodges Esther booked for us were nothing short of amazing, perfectly situated in prime locations with exceptional service.
The journey was meticulously planned from the moment we left the UK. Every detail was taken care of, from our transfers prior to the safari, and the safari itself, and even our return to Nairobi from Mombasa. This seamless organization allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience without any worries.
Once on safari, we were fortunate to have Duncan as our driver and guide who had over 20 years experience and absolutely loves his job. His knowledge of the wildlife was impressive, and his friendly demeanor made the trip even more enjoyable. Duncan had an uncanny ability to spot animals and provided us with fascinating insights about each one. He answered all our questions with enthusiasm and expertise, making our safari truly unforgettable. Duncan was also our photographer for the proposal and was willing to help without any hesitation.
Overall, I highly recommend Leisure Escapes Safari. Their attention to detail, excellent customer service, and knowledgeable guides ensure a remarkable and memorable safari experience.
P.S. Please get a drink with your driver at the bar of one of the lodges during your trip, they drive so much and put so much effort into making the experience special for you, and they appreciate it so much!!

Excellent, courteous and friendly service responsive to our needs and requirements
We spent a few weeks trying to decide what kind of safari that we wanted and in the end decided on a 3-day wildlife safari and a couple of days sightseeing Arusha and Moshi. Wines, our travel consultant from Revelation was most helpful in enabling us to choose the best options for us including identifying the type of accommodation that we wanted. Revelation’s drivers and guides were excellent. Jackson who took us on the safari is a very skilled and experienced driver and guide and was able to take us to the best spots for catching sight of the wildlife. We got to see a lot in terms of wildlife and also enjoyed the scenic drives through some of the Tanzanian plains including Serengeti. A truly memorable trip made all the more enjoyable by an efficient and professional safari agency.

absolutely brilliant experience! From the office staff to our guide Gasper, a truly professional organization. Everything was well planned. Excellent accommodation and food at all the sites. We got to see all the big 5 and more. Our guide was personable and answered all of our questions. We learned so much about the wildlife and culture of Tanzania. Exceptional experience!
Our safari experience was fantastic. The guides were knowledgeable about the animals and their lives, always explaining things in detail. The safari truck was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated communication throughout the reservation process. Gadiel’s morning check-in call before our tour started was a nice. Overall, it was an exceptional experience!
