This is my second safari with Karanja having previously travelled with him back in 2015. Back then he was a wonderful safari guide, highly knowledgeable, organizationally helpful, and with a great command of multiple languages. I reached out again this year to organize a private safari for my wife and I and his company Savannah Sound did an amazing job putting together a custom tour of Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and various attractions around Nairobi. Both he and our driver/guide Sam were extremely helpful with suggestions and honest recommendations on how to make the most of our trip. The booking and payment process were very smooth with timely communication and flexibility, providing great confidence. We hope to come back again in a few years on a family trip and will definitely be using the services of Savannah Sound again!

I did not expect that I would meet a tour guide like Joseph, who has an excellent eyesight and can satisfy your special demands on animals. Thanks to Joseph, we can spot a group of lions and leopards many times. We even have plenty of time to see behaviours of animals and to some extent understand animals. He is definitely an expert in animals and we are so lucky to have him there.
