Firefinch safaris exceeded all our expectations.
I and 3 other retired ladies have just returned from a superbly organised FireFinch safaris and car hire. We self drove through Namibia covering 3068 km. We felt totally safe in all the places he recommended we visit.
Right from the start Clive was super quick to respond to me on WhatsApp, answering all our questions and worries. We chatted too at length about what to expect, what we might do and he sent us the Travel Key App to 'play' with. It lead us through our daily itinerary and the distances we needed to cover and information about the lodges and activies we might like to do. He met us on our first day in Windhoek to answer any more questions and everyones feed back to me was very positive. He gave us a lot of confidence. He was definately a person to turn to when we had a few "oh no senior moments" . These problems, of our own making I hasten to add, were ironed out quickly with help from Clive.
He arranged terrific lodges and hotels for us. Every lodge was so special in it's own way. From 5 star to quirky - all extremely good. Every new accommodation was a wow moment. It was so exciting to see what place was coming next. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. My personal favourite was eating dinner on the terrace where we watched sometimes 30 elephants or more at the waterhole 100 metres away interacting with each other.
We travelled extensively and followed Clive's advice about checking tyres when we stopped to refuel. So we had no problems with the 4x4 vehicle. It was very comfortable.
As well as Namibia we went to Botswana and Victoria Falls. My advice here would be to buy your souvenirs in Namibia! Things were better value in Nam. Victoria Falls works on the US$ and there was a noticeable difference in value for money. We did love all 3 countries though and Vic Falls was well worth seeing.
What memories we made! We all feel so fortunate to have done this trip.
If you are hesitating about going to Namibia then please don't hesitate anymore!
You will not be disappointed in the country or FireFinch Safaris and Car hire. It was just wonderful. Thankyou Clive.

Morning star was a excellent choice. What got exactly what was agreed, they shared multiple quotes promptly and kept in touch. Even though there were unforseen changes to one if tge resorts, alternatives were offered in advance.
This was a long planned trip and thanks to Morning star it turned out very well.

African Wildlife Plains the best!
We stayed a Tinga Lodge in Lion Sands Safari Park during September 2024. Phillip & Wanda organised the our whole trip from the UK to SA including the Safari, Cape Town and the Wine Region. This included all transportation, accomodation, guides (Cape Town & Wine) and several restaurants we wished to visit in particular. Everything proceeded without a hitch and Phillip was always available should we wished for any clarification. I cannot recommend AWP enough and would not hesitate to use them when we return in the near future.
Tinga Lodge was fantastic, the accomodation, food and most of all were the staff were absolutely wonderful. We saw the "big five" plus lots of other speices as well, not in abundance but that is probably a derivitive of the size of Lion/Kruger and made it special when we did find them.

Once in a lifetime experience!
My safari was organised by Philipina and communications was fantastic. I could contact her at any time and she was there to answer any queries. The whole trip ran smoothly. The driver we had was also excellent and made it his mission for us to see the Big 5. I would definitely recommend Mercy Yetu to others considering a safari.

Wonderful
The four-days safari trip in East Kenya was amazing. Although it was a short trip but we saw too many animals. The accommodations and services were great. Our driver Isaiah was very helpful as well. We are definitely planning another another safari trip again but longer.

Tracks of dreams coming true
We spent 6 stunning days thanks to the tour operator but mostly thanks to Albert, who is a professional guide that does not only explain you all the curiosity you can have about animals and habitats, he creates a pleasant atmosphere connecting you and the places you visit.
We visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro crater… I cannot explain with words the emotions we felt and the richness we bring back with us.
