Fun filled itinerary
5/5

Many thanks to Victoria for putting together a rather lovely itinerary for us. To be honest we were initially worried if we would be able to do all the things on the itinerary but all worked out well in the end. The hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti was the highlight of the trip and would highly recommend to any going on Safari in Tanzania.

Great experience with Unison Safaris
5/5

Our safari in amazing Serengeti and Ngorongoro was very well organized by Felix and our guide Rafael was highly competent and super friendly. We managed to see all possible animals in only three days. Kisura tented camp and Eileen's Tree in Karatu were both lovely. I can recommend Unison Safaris without any hesitation!

Great care, thought and discussion with Roger resulted in a truly memorable and exciting safari.
5/5

We approached three tour operators but Roger Turski was the only one who really listened and planned a well thought through itinerary. The choice of camps was excellent as we were as interested in the "small things" and birds as we were in the predators. Having said that we still saw Lion, Leopard and Cheetah as well as Wild Dogs on a kill and a massive selection of birds including the pink throated long claw. And an African Python and even a beautiful caracal!
But Roger also followed through with each camp and we were lucky in that he even managed a private vehicle for us for each day of our 15 day safari. He really did look after us and he met us for personal feedback when we returned to Man.Really expert and professional service from someone who loves Botswana and the bush.
Having been on safaris in Southern Africa for 30 years this was probably the most remarkable and enjoyable of them all.
Needless to say my wife and I thoroughly recommend Safari Lifestyles for a complete and very personal safari experience.

Amboseli and Tsavo
5/5

Communications good. We were initially cautious as we were travelling from Nairobi but the company is Mombasa based. Reassured by good communications; Moureen and the driver came to meet us the afternoon before the trip. Vehicle in good condition, 4WD minibus with game hatch, probably more comfortable than a Land Cruiser. Only three of us on the tour - plenty of space in the vehicle and plenty of personal attention. Voi and Ngulia Lodges, and Kibo Camp - all perfectly adequate and with plenty of good food, though not gourmet! All were secure and had good service.
Driver/guide Silas very safe and very knowledgeable; he guided and managed us well and responded to our interests. Plenty of game viewing including leopard coming to bait at Ngulia and elephants at waterholes at both Ngulia and Voi.
We were pleased to be back to these three National Parks after a long time (visiting others in the meantime) but in retrospect the long road journeys were quite a stretch (although watching the development of the new railway was an additional fascination).
Pricing of the tour was certainly competitive and undercut our normal travel agent by a significant margin.
Strongly recommended.

8th time with best camping and as good as ever
5/5

Best camping tours have always looked after my family the teaching group I take to Kenya. The camping experience in Masai Mara is unique as you camp under the stars guarded by Masai John. I have stayed in numerous lodges (also organised by Best Camping) but nothing beats getting up close and personal with the wildlife. The food is excellent and site conveniently located to access all areas of the park. I have seen all the big 5 in the Masai Mara with Best Camping and would wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Memorable experience...
5/5

I booked a 4 days camping safari with this company and since i was a solo traveller and a volunteer in Musoma they offered me to join with other 4 people and we went to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, from the beginning to the end the trip was excellent.
I reccomend this company to anyone wishing to do a budget safari especially for volunteers and solo travelers.

Nice Safari with adventure
4/5

Tour Starts perfectly. Were picked up in Time at the Airport. Lokal Guide stayed with us in the first day in Arusha. Especially the Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater I can recommend. We saw everything we expected. With Adventure feeling in the Serengeti Campside at Night. But felt all the time Safe during the Safari. We had to built up our tents by ourself that could be arranged a little bit better organzied. Our cooke called Isa was so friendliy and meals were realy perfect! Many thanks to Isa.
Accomondation in Karatu was Panorama Inn Hotel. Nice accomondation but take care of your belongings and money. The staff in the hotel grapped some money from us.
The coffee plantation we also stayed one Night was perfekt. Here we felt totaly Save and everything especially the meals are great. I can realy recommend this Location and I would prefer to stay longer there if possible.
The cultural part of our tour was one the one side a good experiance (hunting with the Hadzabe) in the other side it felt a little bit artificial meeting Masai people. No need to do that!

Kilimanjaro climb
5/5

Afrishare organised climbing Kili for our group of three.

Every aspect of the 7day climb was very organised. Our guides were highly experienced and knowledgeable of the mountain and it's flora/fauna. Thanks to their expertise, all 3 of us made it to the top for an unforgettable view.

The food was superb, especially considering we were on a mountain. Dishes served included: fish fillet, roast potatoes, spaghetti bolognaise and chicken. The chicken was of a particularly high standard; high quality cuts of fillet. Fresh fruit was in abundance, in addition to copious amounts of vegetables. Hot chocolate, tea, coffee, popcorn and cookies awaited us at every lunch/dinner stop. Huge thanks to Cosmas the chef.

The rest of our crew were also marvelous; extremely friendly and helpful.

Ibrahim did an excellent job of managing our trip and we look forward to working with him again.

Masai Mara where fantastic. Hells gate and Lake Nakuro was not much to see.
2/5

We were lead to believe that we have bought a Safari for four people in our own car. Instead we were picking up and dropping off people all the time at Transfer Hotel. This lead to many hours of unnecessary transports on very bad roads.
The driver was good at finding game with the help of the radio. But his communications skills needs a lot of improvement. He did not tell us where we were going and what will happen next. The first lunch stop was totally unnecessary. Who eats lunch at 4 pm? Because of that we missed the bird trip at Lake Navisha.
