Our 7 days / 6 nights Safari itinerary contained Tsavo national park, Lake Naivasha with boat and walking safari tour, Lake Nakuru reserve and Masai Mara.
Our guide Phillip fulfilled every expectations you could imagine. He was incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife and explaining to us all the details behind that animal. He has a wealth of knowledge and he also likes to play some trivia games with you while in the car.
We were lucky enough to see the Big Five - Phillip spotting skills were so amazing we got to see two leopards in two different parks. Also we got some rare findings as cheetah and a pack of African wild dogs!!!!

Do not trust Image Travel
We booked with Image Travel Ltd a 5-Day Luxury Lodges Safari for 2 person. The package cost US$ 4,700.
When we arrived at Nairobi Airport on Oct. 1st, nobody picked us up. The phone numbers were both unavailable. When we checked with three of the hotels, we were told there was no booking information.
We reported our situation to police station at the airport. The police cannot contact them either. This is a fraud incident!

As two Chinese girls who are visiting Africa for the first-time crossed the entire hemisphere ,we know less for this country’s people. There’s always have some concern for our safari tour. In our country, people tend to have cautious and conservative altitude for outside-country tour, so we feel really nerves at the beginning when we landed. However, after our guide Mike arrived, he friendly greeted us, took the initiative to pick up our luggage to help us to put it on the car in order to let us relaxed. Then Mike specially called the platform and putting me on speakerphone to let them knew we were safe, (This is because mike was not the earliest contact), Mike warmly introduced Nairobi for us, throughout the process, Mike was very patience and humble, with polite altitude, he told us different culture. When he heard us need sim cards, but the people nearby sim card shops would take half an hours unless, he help us get it by other ways.
Those Mike’s behaviors let us increase safety feeling for Nairobi, and become kinda could enjoyed our trip.

But still, some aspects for improvement e.g. inadequate information of guide are sent to us only one day advanced after repeatedly urge. Moreover, we choosed miniVan but it seemed to old, the tire and battery of the Van both failed in the road, we waste many times to fix it up. In all, the journey of Kenya is worthy！

Fabulous experience, from the ever-patient Irvy who arranged our safari and also adjusted my safari and answered my endless questions, to the pickup as arranged and the safari itself. Our guide and driver, Peter was knowledgeable about the animals and the safari parks, very accommodating to what we wanted to see and absolutely outstanding in making sure we managed to see everything up close; he is an incredible driver and guide. We did see the big 5 and so much more, it was an absolutely once in a lifetime experience. Kenya is so beautiful - the animals, landscape and people. Peter always ensured our comfort and has an absolutely infectious laugh, thank you Peter. Safaris are not cheap, but Keshi tours offered the most affordable option for us and didn't scrimp on the comfort, and we saw absolutely everything we hoped for and so much more. Highly recommend!
