A Smooth Ride
From the first contact with Brendon's detailed tour proposal to the last day of our tour, Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris was very straightforward, clear and concise. We had done a Safari tour in Tanzania before where we were with one vehicle and one guide for six days. It was not how the Elephant functions. But once we got used to how they work, it was breezy. There was always someone taking care of you, even though it was not one assigned guide. Looking back, all it took for us was to send them the initial email to let them know what we were looking for. Their itinerary was perfect for us. Five days included a whole day safari, a sunset safari, a sunrise safari, zipline activities and the Panorama Tour. We were able to experience both Kruger National Park and a private game reserve. The luxury lodge Zarafa they booked for us was absolutely amazing. It was a perfect place for us to unwind after all those activities. Thank you Elephant Herd Tour & Safaris for an unforgettable experience of your beautiful land, animals and people!

It was a very unique and amazing adventure and the guides did an amazing job finding the animals.
The guide mtinangi was always in a very good mood and knew a lot of facts about the animals and the landscape. He could answer every question he was asked, so we learned a lot. :)

Harrison was friendly and knowledgeable!
Harrison was friendly and very knowledgeable about Zimbabwe culture, politics, and way of life. He took us to a homestead within a local village to Victoria Falls and facilitated our conversation with occupants. It was a lot of fun learning about their way of life and he was able to provide information after the tour on broader issues within Zimbabwe, awesome experience overall!

Incredible Week in Kenya 🇰🇪 all organised by the amazing Morning Star Tours and Joy.
We had the most amazing experience in Kenya. Morning Star tours were a dream to work with from start to finish, Joy was so helpful in organising and planning our trip from start to finish, we were even able to contact her via What’s app, a brilliant service. Joy also made the special effort to come and meet us in Nairobi.
From the minute we arrived in Kenya we felt at home, our tour guide James was waiting for us at the airport. His smile and good mood was infectious. James was so much fun and so knowledgeable, we had the best week ever with him.. Long days in the jeep flew by with James, his knowledge on Kenya and all the parks/animals was amazing, the effort he put in to locate the animals we wanted to see, his patience and most of all the conversations, laughs and Afro beats music. The dream guide!
We highly recommend Morning Star Tours and you will be very lucky if you have Joy and James looking after you.

5 days of unique safari-an unprecedented experience!!
Our five-day trip was amazing. Everything was so well organized from start to finish that the whole trip felt like a dream. We had the opportunity to visit Lake Maniar, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater, which is truly an experience to remember.
Lake Maniyar: Our safari starts from Lake Maniyar National Park. There we saw many flamingos on the banks of the lake, lions climbing on the trees, and huge elephant groups.
Serengeti: Then we go to the Serengeti, with numerous wildebeest and zebra herds running across the vast grasslands and the movement of predators. That's a big dream. The intelligent analysis of our guide made every moment more interesting.
Ngorongoro Crater: The last destination of the safari was the Ngorongoro Crater, a wonder of nature. Descending into the huge hole, we saw a magnificent sight of hippopotamus, lions, rare rhinoceros, and thousands of flamingos. The natural beauty and diversity of the animals here fascinate us.
Accommodation was very comfortable, food was good, and service was excellent. The Northern Masaland Safaris was a great experience!

As photographers and videographers, we had very specific requirements we asked of TopGuides when planning our trip. Not only did they meet every requirement we set out, they exceeded it! Our guide, Juma, was knowledgable in photography and was not only able to find the animals and landscapes we were looking for - he knew exactly how and where to place the vehicle for the best lighting and view of the animals we were shooting. Each day was a new and exciting experience. Juma was a hard working, knowledgable guide who went above and beyond what we had expected in our photographic safari.
Each location offered exciting and new landscape and a variety of animals. All the camps we stayed at were 5 star and the food was amazing! Not only would I highly recommend TopGuides as your outfitter, I will be using them again on my next planned trip.
