Masai Mara has more mammals, lions, cheetahs, giraffes and many other animals, and it is easy to see lions and leopards. Amboseli can see Kilimanjaro and many families of elephants, various birds, but we don’t see carnivores here. If you are a bird lover, you can see many beautiful birds and rhinos in Nakuru.
I highly recommend the horse racing horse.
This trip was very exciting. I was very happy to observe many animals up close. They were all beautiful and cute, an unforgettable journey.

From the moment I contacted JT from the UK and in Kenya the communication was prompt. He was knowledgeable about the accommodation. The Safari was perfect allowing us enough time to make the most of Tsavo East.

Steve was great to deal with when arranging our Safari, he was extremely great, and communication was amazing. He answered our messages on spot, and nothing was too much trouble. The Safari was well planned. Our guide was very friendly and educative not to mention an amazing driver too! We saw 4 of the Big 5, A never forget. Thank you to everyone at the Agency.

Our tour operator had our interest and satisfaction as his primary objective and was very friendly.

I will describe my experience as amazing. Had great communication with our tour guide. His knowledge of the places we toured enriched the experience. Considering the residence I stayed in, the places toured and all the interesting activities from walking with lions, engaging in a bungee jump among others, safari trip (land&water) in Botswana, I will say there was great value for money.

There's good food as well and I will encourage every other tourist to try "nshima" a very great local delicacy.

Hi Monica, yes of course! I had a fantastic time.
Yasin was a great guide from start to finish. Providing us with valuable information about the animals and the land that we never knew before. He entertained our enthusiasm to explore the land and find as many animals as possible. We were able to spot the big five which we were so happy about!

Communication was great with the company from the first message, until the day we left. I think it was fantastic value for money. I always thought Safari was an expensive trip to take, and that it would cost a lot of money, but this trip was very affordable and the quality was not effected by the price at all.

In terms of the accommodation, Jambo Mara had a beautiful, large room with fantastic views and quiet surroundings. However there was no hot water in the room for the 2 days we spent there. The food options were not great and we found ourselves only eating rice and bread for the entire stay.
Lake Nakuru lodge was beautiful, amazing views and the staff were very helpful, and wanted us to have the best time while we were there. They could tell that we were very hungry and excited for tasty food and they provided exactly that.
The room was not great at first, we had to ask to be moved to another room, as the showerhead was broken, and we were also attached to another room (via a door) that was also being occupied and we could hear the other occupants.
They moved us to another room which was much better.

Overall, we are very happy with our trip with Axis Safari, we had an adventure of a lifetime that we will cherish forever.
Thank you ❤️

Robin and Rodger’s were amazing, they answered all of our questions and provided a wonderful time.

From the start this experience was amazing, the ride was smooth and very comfortable. The trucks are very comfortable and are very spacious. Our tour guides went out of their way to make sure we got to see all the animals. Thanks to them we were able to see elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs and many many more animals. The inn where we stayed at was great as well. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Food was good and the accommodations were very cozy. Overall we enjoyed our time and can’t wait to come back. Will be sending all of our friends here. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an amazing experience with the Staff of Destination Connect (Fredinah for the organisation and then our driver and guide Joseph). They both went the extra mile to make us feel safe and provide all information for a nice trip. It was amazing to see so many animals and visit a Masai village. I highly recommend!

Brilliantly organised, Sam is often first at viewings due to his extensive tracking skills.
5/5

Husband & I only decided at New Year 2025 to do a tour, and March seemed to work for us; went to Botswana Tourism site and found rave reviews about Early Kingfisher Safaris; contacted Sam and received speedy reply and literally a breeze getting a route, price, and time to suit us sorted, so we were all ready to go in three weeks, and flew out of Australia for 7 nights Touch of Okavango camping safari, commenced Maun 11 March. Stunning weather. Experienced travellers for almost 50 years, Sam's Early Kingfisher adventure would rate as one of the very top trips we've ever done around the world. Amazingly, we were the only guests on the tour, but that's Sam's point of difference (that he will go with just 2 guests if necessary!) He's a very safe driver. His Jeeps are maintained very well and are comfortable, with blankets provided for the early morning safari every dawn. We didn't know if the campsites would be within compounds or would be fenced, but they weren't and we had nothing to fear (even when a pride of lions passed behind our tents at Savuti at 3a.m. one night: 8 of them decided our campfire embers provided a bit of warmth and were still there, sleeping, when we got up!). I had mentioned I would prefer a gluten-free meal/bread plan: Chef cooked my own buns/bread for every meal, and his range of menus was always delightful. We had beautifully set tables every night, G & T while we waited for dinner, and housekeeping was immaculate with clothes washed when we went out each morning, then placed, ironed, on our big bed each afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble for Sam and his staff, and we left as friends. Sam pointed out many birds in Moremi and Savuti and everywhere in between, wildflowers in profusion, and of course the only one of the BIG 5 we didn't see was the relocated rhinos. Amazingly we viewed copulating leopards (3 in total) from a very close vantage point, and wild dogs! Not to mention the afternoon when Sam heard a commotion during our rest time, and quickly sang out to us to hop in the jeep because he could hear a pursuit - we arrived in time to just see a zebra being taken down, and sat mesmerised for another 2 hours - again we were the first vehicle on the scene. It was magical.
