John was very atentative to all our needs. He was professional, punctual and kind. Traveling as a group of women , we always felt safe.
The safari experience was exceptional. Some how, John knew how to find the animals and we had breathtaking views of the animals in their natural habitat , sometimes we witnessed them hunting.
John is very knowledgeable of the wildlife, the country and the people.
I would not look elsewhere for an exceptional safari experience.

What an awesome experience! Better smaller buses than the lodges provide so you can interact with the tour guides easily. Gustav & Petrus were a lot of fun while being so informative! Between the lodge tour and the Mo—Afrika tour, MA was my favorite!

Unique tour and gorilla experience with an excellent guide
We booked a two-week private tour, and our driver, Abdul, was excellent and always punctual throughout our trip, according to the itinerary. Abdul is a very experienced guide who knows the country very well and knows where the animals usually hang out. He has eagle eyes and has spotted the animals from afar. When I unfortunately developed stomach problems, he got me medicine and was very concerned. The accommodations were all excellent and each one unique. There was very little tourism at the time, so we were completely alone in some of the accommodations, and there weren't any big crowds on the game drives either. It was an ideal month for travel, with a bit of rain now and then, which didn't bother us, as we were mostly in a jeep when it rained. The people are all extremely friendly and interested in tourists. The highlight for us was the gorilla tracking; we were able to observe a family up close for an hour. We got the impression that they even wanted to play with us. We weren't so lucky with the chimpanzees, as the cold, rainy weather meant they spent more time in the trees. But it was also impressive to see them in the wild.
In summary: we learned and saw a lot and wouldn't want to miss this adventure!

This place was an amazing experience! We got the entire safari experience because of the wonderful staff! I got the 5 day package which was reasonable priced compared to other packages.
First, this place is beautiful and very clean. Staff is constantly working to give us the best experience. They are all friendly and amazing! The entire staff from Confidence, Moses, John, DJ, Trinity were just outstanding!
The first day we got there we went on our first game drive and it was an amazing first experience. It was just like what we saw in the TV. We saw lions eating and elephants up close.
We saw how big Kruger National Park is. You can drive hours in there. You see a large amount of animal groups there but I didn’t know this. You can only see animals from the roads. The park is protected. That is why I loved the lodge. They are able to drive on their reserve off road and get up close to the animals.
They took care of everything from beginning to end and it was a very luxury experience. My recommendation for this place is to fly into Hoedspruit Airport which is one hour from Johannesburg airport. We changed our plans last minute to fly back to Johannesburg and they were able to easily accommodate us!
They wash your clothes everyday which was amazing and they charges a very low fe!
I also recommend staying here longer to get more game drives. Every time we went out we saw something different but it’s always a gamble because it wildlife and you can see everything or nothing. You never know.
Overall, this place was a dream and the experience we got will stay with us forever. I can’t wait to come back!
