Definitely a holiday of a lifetime!!!!!!
So, when the bestie and I decided to book our holiday of a lifetime, we had no idea where to start, or even what to expect on a Safari. We could have picked any company out of hundreds, but oh, thank goodness we chose Wild Planet Safari!!
From the minute Ryan collected us from the Jo’burg airport our adventure began. The first night was spent in a lovely B & B a short drive from the airport then it was up early the next day for a 7hr drive across to Kruger. For the entire 6 days all of our needs were catered for and all we had to do was sit back and enjoy. And when I say ‘our needs’ I mean it. Apart from us both being veggies, my travelling companion is disabled with extremely limited mobility - oh and lots of mobility aids! But throughout our trip, Ryan and his little helper Lungisani coped admirably. Nothing was too much trouble and they quickly began to anticipate when and where help would be needed - from opening car doors to unloading scooters. Our meals were superb, loads of freshly prepared fruit & veg dishes and BBQ’s in the evenings. And they even do the washing up!
Every day was packed full of anticipation and excitement, and what Ryan doesn’t know about animals simply isn’t worth knowing. His determination for us to see the Big 5 paid off and we were able to tick each animal off the list – and many more. During our time together Ryan shared many amusing stories with us of his previous animal encounters, explained the safari ‘etiquette’ and we also learned a little about the life of young Lungisani.
It was sad to be dropped back in Joburg for the final night, we had all become good friends and it was with a heavy heart that we had to hug the big guy Ryan goodbye, knowing that he was off to do it all again with is next lucky people the next day.
Ryan, you are amazing, totally dedicated to your work and long may it continue. Lungisani, you will make a terrific guide yourself one day and maybe take us yourself! Must also mention the excellent communications from Thale during the planning of our trip and cuddles to little Felix.
Oh, and congratulations to you both, Mr & Mrs Ker!

Fantastic Trip

Sun Safari South African trip
Every aspect of this trip was amazing. Arathusa lodge in Sabi Sand was just the best- animals every where and our room was absolutely amazing!! We felt like kings during the entire trip. We loved nThambo treehouse lodge too and the food there was really terrific. Cape Cadogan in Cape Town was so beautiful- our room was fantastic and the staff was excellent. There is nothing bad that I can possibly say about our trip and I can't thank SunSafari enough!! Liselle, our specialist at Sun Safari, came up with perfect trip for us and she was available to us via email by rapidly answering all of our questions. She was extremely helpful during the entire process. If I return to Africa, I will absolutely use SunSafari again to organize my trip!

Spectacular- A lifetime of great memories
We traveled as a family of 4, wife, our two teenage children and myself. This was a most amazing trip. We had two excellent tour guides who guided us to all the wonderful sights of Tanzania and Kenya. We got to see the Big Five and many up close and personal.
Despite the roads being quite bumpy, our vehicles were comfortable. The flights between Serengeti and Maasai mara were fun and efficient. We had great accommodations also. We thoroughly enjoyed the 15-day at a fair price. Would highly recommend Swift Travel to anyone looking for a great experience.

Elize & Johan have created a great company that provides an amazing experience. Their services exceeded our expectations and beyond (scenic tours, game drives, catering and accommodation), it was really fun and we felt like we were at home and they also became our friends. We could never get enough of Johan's humor and knowledge, and Elize always making sure everything runs smoothly to the highest standards including self-catering she made sure all our meals are 5 stars standard. Elize, you are Excellent Chef!
It was also an educational and inspirational experience that we will never forget, they both went out of their way to make sure we saw as much as possible. We not only saw the Big 5 and Small 5, they pointed out and shared with us different animals, birds, plants and even the insects.
This was our 2nd holiday in South Africa since Year 2014, we have even talked about a future visit and seeing more of the country and bringing others with us. We will be recommending them to any of our friends who will be traveling to SA!

Fun experience with trusted drivers
Wildebeest is great, with minor hiccup but nothing that dent the fun and adventure we had. The itinerary arranged was good and flexible enough to accommodate a couple of members delayed flight. Accommodation provided was excellent. We highly recommend Wildebeest.

Amazing Experience with the BEST Staff!!
My cousin and I were recently on the 4 day safari we had such a wonderful experience. Everything was so well organized by Viva Safari, was very clean and professional and the best part was the staff!! They truly made the experience a lasting one. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and we really felt taken care of.
From my very first inquiry, Patti and Luke were always prompt to reply with great straight forward and detailed information also going above and beyond by offering us help with accommodation in Jo'berg before and after the tour.
Every staff we came in contact with, were so great. We were so well taken care of on premise by Pretty, Bulgoni, Rex, Victor, Maynard and Azale as well as our drivers back and forth to Jo'berg. The accommodation exceeded our expectations by far. We booked a "budget" safari, but there was nothing budget about the tour. We had such a great time, saw more than we anticipated and enjoyed every minute of the Safari!
I couldn't have asked for a better safari and I will be recommending it again to my friends and family! I will def book with Viva Safaris in the future!!

Both Elize & Johan are excellence, we have great time together for 10 days, we cook, stories sharing, dine & wine. Our foods, accommodations are well taken care thoughtfully, most importantly, we learn great knowledge along the road trip.
