spectacular safari with competent guide
positive: professional preparation, excellent guide with know how about animals and landscape but also about Tanzania's people and society, well chosen hotels in Arusha, Lake Manyara and in Central Serengeti, good food and drinks
not so positive: special needs for handicapped pax were not communicated to all hotels as required, a bit of hassle with the payment (but solved finally), one hotel on the rim of Ngorogoro was totally overpriced

Amazing experience that everyone needs to do.
My safari experience in Kenya was above and beyond my expectations! The company we booked it with, Spirit of Kenya based in Nairobi, delivered exactly what they promised and more. Our guide and driver George was friendly, informative and generous and extremely helpful. He helped make this the best holiday experience we have ever had. I never realised there were so many animals in Africa. We saw everything possible except a leopard. Best experience when a herd of elephants came to our hotel within touching distance! Staff and local people and also people from the tribes were so friendly. Would fully recommend or indeed insist that everyone goes on Safari in Kenya!

Wildlife, culture, scenery, simple way of living: Uganda in a nutshell
Uganda is still one of the countries people are unsure about traveling to, due to a once turbulent past. Not any more, it is safe, it is enjoyable, the people are friendly and welcoming, the land is vast with savannas, jungles, and mist covered mountains. On many trips what you see is not like the image you have projected into your minds eye, not so with Uganda, it is everything you hope for and much more.
From hearing the chimpanzees calling to each other high in the tree tops, to sitting next to a mountain gorilla while it feeds, to witnessing a herd of elephants pass before you on the road, Uganda is an amazing and spectacular experience.

Amazing service - perfectly curated trip to Botswana!
We found Roger w/Safari Lifestyles after doing extensive research on this site and others. The five star reviews are legit folks. Roger specializes in Botswana but he can also book side trips to Victoria Falls, etc. and I'm sure he can help with other countries as well.
Roger has an amazing knowledge of all of the camps and lodges in Botswana. He visits them regularly and follows up with his clients after the trip to make sure he is on top of the situation. Once he knows your timeframe and budget he will go to work building the perfectly customized experience for you.
In our case, we decided last minute to book our trip and some of our first choices were already booked for peak season. Once Roger understood our criteria he went to work finding suitable alternatives. The camps were amazing and his recommendations were spot on.
I was particularly impressed with how patient Roger was with answering questions by email and Skype. You are spending a lot of money, this is a very different vacation from what you are used to, etc. Roger gets all of that.
When we arrived at the first camp our guide was regularly checking in with our 14 year old son and making sure he was ok with seeing certain potentially stressful things. We found out later that Roger had fully briefed the camp on our son's anxiety issues and made sure they gave us an experienced guide who understood his situation. He did this on his own accord - just to make sure things went smoothly for us on the trip.
I've already recommended Safari Lifestyles to a few different people we ran into at Africa and we'll definitely be using Roger again.

It's the tour which I I'll certainly be back next year.
We did the 12 days Safari tour combined 3 days in Zanzibar Blue bay resort. The animals migratting is amazing, the sceneries are magnificent.
Tour operator offered us accommodations both in Masai Mara National Park or Serengeti National Park, those with good food, good service, good hospitality and good view,.
Our driver Jacob is a tough guy who always drive us to the best positions to view animals, once we even get as close as 10 meters from the Lion's nest.
Our tour agent James are so nice to greet us at NBO airport personally and let us meet his lovely kids and wife. James satisfied all our reguests and did more.

Fantastic Safari in Tanzania
From the first email (until the last) our questions were answered quickly. Makasa went beyond our expectations with everything from booking the holiday to the tours, accommodation. Every attention to detail was met. We couldn't have been looked after better. We felt safe, throughout our time in Tanzania. By far the best holiday experience I've ever had. we didn't meet Robert but he give us very good guide cum driver Mr Aroune , he is very nice person without Mr Aroune may be our tour will be not Excellent thanks to him. he saw us all big Animal's and make us very happy, About food we suffer lots because we are vegetarian.

Hotels, stays were very good and well organized, food and service were perfect, the program was set up by ourselves&APS in advance. Our guide-driver, Issa was far the best we met.
