Very great tour and service.
This was two wonderful days discovering South Africa animals reserves, with the help of our guide Patrick.

Simply Outstanding service and attention to detail. Strong recommend.
We have just returned from a marvellous family trip to Southern Africa - a mixture of safari and beach.
Cuan's attention to detail was superb, from listening to what we wanted to do, to making suggestions and then arranging bookings and connections. Everything went so smoothly it took the "stress" out of travel completely.
In the months leading up to our trip all questions were answered promptly via email or telephone. Even a few weeks prior, after everything was booked and paid for, Cuan contacted me with a suggestion that enhanced our ease of travel, and maximised time spent at a camp, rather than an airport.
From the moment we met Gerald, the Ubuntu representative in Johannesburg we felt at ease. The places we visited were wonderful, we were met and helped at every airport, and made to feel welcome and "special".
Ubuntu are a very professional company, Cuan is tremendously thoughtful and has a keen eye for detail. I have great pleasure in rating 5 Stars, and recommending them.

Exceded All Expectations
After four previous trips to Africa, my father-in-law finally got around to inviting me to join him on trip number five. So along with him and my mother-in-law, as well as 5 other family members, and with zero expectations going into it, I headed out on a three and half week journey to Africa (Kenya and Tanzania). Although I was excited for the experience and looking forward to spending time with my family I didn't really know what I was getting myself in to. My father-in-law spent over a year planning the trip but I had very little to do with that process.
From the moment I arrived in Nairobi and met Niko, Susan, and Eliud I knew that I was in for something amazing. From beginning to end every aspect of my trip was perfect. I had the opportunity of getting to know four (Niko, Eliud, Ray and Jackson) very knowledgeable and most importantly, kind, guides. Each with their own distinct personalities, all of which added to the value of my overall experience. The transportation was comfortable and reliable. The accommodations along the way were out of this world...far more then I was expecting. And thats not to even mention the amazing animals that we were able to see along the way.
Although this was my first safari trip, based off the previous experience of others, I have no problem with saying that I believe Susan and Niko, along with the rest of their staff, provide one of the top experiences in Africa. I'm already starting to think about a return trip and I can't imagine using anyone other than The Destination Consultants. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Travel experiences that are VERY rare
Excellent attention to detail and follow up. We had 4 different safari experiences and amazing times had at each. Not only the standard t accomodation but the staff are what made the holiday special.. When your kids hug the guide at the end and have no interest in their iPhones... you know you have been somewhere pretty special. Jacks Camp in Botswana is an incredible place. Very special indeed.

Great Migration
It has been some years since we travelled to Tanzania with It Started in Africa. We still cherish the amazing memories and conversations with Dickson by the bonfire at the camp in Serengeti (can't remember the name).
My most vivid memory is the cross of the wildebeests on Mara River while having a glass of cooled white wine in the car.
Wish to come back soon.

The best touring Company!
Simon accommodated my needs for touring dates and schedules. I experienced no problems with the deposit and payments. No day was boring during my tour because they made sure we had something enjoyable to do or see. I enjoyed not just the animals in the wild but also the culture and cuisine of the locals. They had very good accommodation and wonderful customer service, which together created tremendous value. My Trip to Africa helped me exercise my fingers and camera lens. I am glad I went with East African Safari and Touring Company.

good experience with Bestday
We went on 3-day safari in Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Dullah Omary is our guide who works for Bestday Safaris. He is a good guide. We saw big five and many other animals. We took a very good picture of a lovely lovebird due to his professional knowledge and patient waiting. We even took a glance of lilac breasted roller. Besides, sunrise is very beautiful in Angani camp. This safari is an unforgettable experience.

An amazing experience, one that I will never forget
We visited Ngorongoro Crater in early March with Ranger Safaris on a Safari in Tanzania.
Ngorongoro Crater is an amazing place with lots of animals and stunning views from the crater rim. We stayed at the Sopa Lodge for two nights. It is on the crater rim with amazing views from the rooms, pool and restaurant/bar. The staff were very friendly and the food ( both quality and quantity) and rooms ( large and spacious )were excellent. Free Wi-Fi was also available in the vicinity of reception.
Our guide took us on an all day safari into the crater. Lunch boxes were supplied by the Sopa Lodge and we had lunch at a designated picnic area near a small lake. There were other safari vehicles there plus children on an excursion from their school in Arusha,
We saw lots of animals - buffalo, lions, hyenas, hippopotami , zebras & wilderbeest. Their were lots of birds including ostriches and flamingos. On one occasion the safari vehicle ahead of us, could not move as lions were using it as shade and sitting beside the back wheel.
I would definatly recommend a visit to Ngorongoro Crater and staying at the Sopa Lodge.

Very personal, custom and enjoyable experience
John and his team (Tony, Nico etc.) were great to be with. Not only did they take care of every little thing (got a cake for people with birthdays, vegetarian food, hot water showers etc.), they were very professional with everything. We had a 10 day safari (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) with them. In a safari, you not only spend a lot of time with your family but also a lot of time with your guides and other staff. And we came away with a really good experience every moment. The staff were courteous and accommodating (hot water baths, twice a day for some in our group!). They took us to all the right places, we saw the big five. Several days, we would end up going beyond the allotted time by 2 or 3 hours and Tony/Nico never once complained. In fact, they suggested other things we could do, places we could see. We had lunches and dinners and breakfasts with them and it was a lot of fun over. My two year old daughter absolutely loved 'Mr Tony' and 'Mr Nico' and still listens to the Hakuna-matata song that Tony performed for her.
I can't forget Tony stopping the jeep 5 feet away from a pride of 10 lions or coming 15 feet from an elusive rhino or seeing the first sunlight on the serengeti or a baby giraffe and mom walking into the sunset or so much more...
The last day John got wooden toys for my daughter's birthday and bought us lunch. They dropped us off at the airport and waved us off.
Tony and his team speak very good english and they know Tanzania very well. Tony was a Kilimanjaro porter for many years and has tons of experience in all things Tanzania or Kenya. John goes back and forth between US and Africa to ensure he takes care of his clients. We even got to know their families on the trip even though we did not meet them. We actually plan to meet them now that we are back in the US.
We stayed in good accommodations and it was very comfortable overall. A part of our group went to Kilimanjaro and they were impressed by the food (3 course hot meals), acco (tents with mattresses) and luxuries that came with it. They sang and made merry all the way to the top. When one of them had altitude sickness they took care of that person with a lot of care.
Overall, a phenomenal tour. There are companies which are more expensive and some which are cheaper - I doubt if you will find one that is such a great value for money. Not only did we see the big five (which was the most important thing for us), they made is super enjoyable for all of us, including my two year old.

3 day safari
My friends and I had limited time in Tanzania, Eastern Sun Safaris was able to easily arrange a short safari. Working with the staff, especially the kind owner Mercy, was so easy! We were able to arrange everything over email, and they were very flexible with our travel dates. This was my second safari with Eastern Sun. The last time I used this company was in 2014. The safari is wonderful, the tour guides are respectful & knowledgeable. The accommodations are great. Food was good. Tanzania is beautiful. I always felt safe. I plan on using Eastern Safaris again in the future, and would recommend the company to anyone!
