Unforgetable safari experience!
Very helpful company which arranged two incredible tours (Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa) for me. Communication is very swift and clear. Although it felt a bit weird to transfer money to a Zambian bank account, it was worth it every single penny. Eva arranged nice accomodation and very knowledgeable guides which contributed to the experience. The accomodation is excellent for anyone who want to experience a safari without spending too much money.

All in all a great experience!
The booking via the website worked really well. Peter from Kima Safari always responded quickly. We would recommend asking again shortly before the start of the safari when, where and how exactly it starts, as we had a communication problem between the agency and the guide. In general, you should not approach things with the German punctuality, because the Tanzanian clock ticks differently :)
In the end, we had a great safari and our guide Fikiri was super nice and pleasant. He patiently showed and explained everything to us and we had an unforgettable experience. We can highly recommend him as a guide. The long drive from Dar es Salaam to the national park was also interesting and you could see a lot of the life of the locals. Fikiri always had good music on!

Brilliant professional company, I'd recommend them to anyone!
We did a 2 night bush camp in Chobe, along with a boat trip up the chobe river. This trip was amazing. The guide (Cobra) was very knowledgeable and we saw some amazing sights, including a newly born lion cub with its mum as well as multiple other like and leopard sightings.
The food in the camp was also great and the camp was more comfortable than I expected. Very good value for money!

We spent a week in Tanzania exploring the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater and it was truly an unforgettable experience thanks to our guide John. His knowledge and experience went above and beyond expectations - he was patient, professional, and a joy to be around as we got up close to so many animals and saw everything we dreamed of seeing (including the rhino!!). I would go on this trip again in a heartbeat and 100% recommend Leadwood Holidays if you’re looking for the most amazing safari experience!

A local family-owned business, provides a tailored Kenyan safari experience
We used Ramja Safaris for our 7-day trip to Kenya in September 2024. The owner, Steve, was easy to work with throughout the planning process and was very responsive and transparent during our communication via email and Whatsapp.
We started the process by getting a quote for a 6-night safari trip using the SafariBookings website. My wife and I wanted to make a couple of lodging upgrades. Steve accommodated these requests and also suggested itinerary adjustments to optimize our trip.
I was very impressed that Steve and his wife Jackie greeted us at the airport in Nairobi at 4:00 AM to make sure that our trip was off to a smooth start. They also met us at the very end of our trip to hear about our experience.
We had 2 great guides during our safari trip, Moses and Isaac. Both of them were easy going, knowledgeable and passionate about the safari experience. We really enjoyed our safari experience with them and were impressed by the stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and the warm hospitality of the local people.
Overall, we were glad to work with Ramja Safaris, a locally owned family business. If you’re considering a trip to Kenya, we highly recommend them for a personalized experience.

Knowledgable, fun, safe and caring - Great Value - Highly Recommend!
Such a wonderful tour! Our tour guide, Dexter, was extremely knowledgeable about Kenya's animals, history and culture. He gladly answered our questions and we learned a great deal. Dexter was also very attentive and thoughtful to each visitor. He would anticipate our needs, making sure that everyone was always comfortable and happy.
During game drives Dexter seemed to always know where to find the animals; we got much closer to them than I expected. And we learned so much about each one! I only brought a cell phone as my camera, yet I still got close-up photos of lions, elephants, and so many more. It was a huge bonus that Dexter is also a photographer. He would often stop at perfect locations for us to take the best pictures. For example he would point out lone trees to photograph and show us how to frame it for a beautiful photo.
Another important advantage to having Dexter as your guide and tour director is that he speaks perfect English with only a slight accent. He is very easy to understand! Some group members struggled to understand other guides.
Our tour was a great value. Even though it wasn't priced high, we always stayed in wonderful hotels with fabulous food. The service was top notch, as well. Just brace yourself for three buffets a day. Whew!
The tour far exceeded my expectations! Go to Kenya; it is AMAZING! And I highly recommend Kiboko Kenya Safaris.

Fantastic experience with Nkuringo Safaris
Wonderful 8 day trip with Nkuringo Safaris - expertly lead by our guide Remmy Kityo. Great itinerary with some highlights that will stay with us life-long - gorilla tracking in Bwindi, chimpanzee trekking at Kibale Forest, the splendour of the Nile at Murchison Falls and the bird life at Mabamba wetlands. Fantastic accommodation throughout, including the great Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge. Would be more than happy to journey with them again, and no hesitation to recommend to others.
