Perfectly Organised Safari
Always want to go on Safari and spent a lot of time looking for where to go and how long for. Decided on Amboseli and then became who could we go with. Came across Enkarewa through this website and they have been amazing. There is always some trepidation organising a trip like this purely online but rest assured there is not need for any concern. Any questions initially responded to within a day by email and then we communicated in almost realtime on WhatsApp. Nelly was incredibly receptive to any questions or amendments we had and we ended up with exactly the safari we wished for. Our driver for the trip fell ill the day before we were meant to travel but the replacement, Edward, was amazing. Had his eyes on the road and the bush to see the animals and birds, ear to the radio and mobile phone to communicate with anyone else to keep us aware of where the game was and despite roads being blocked still endeavoured to find a route around and obstacles which allowed us to get to the viewpoint for the whole park and lake. Totally recommend them for your safari and we already planning our next adventure with them!!

Magnificent experience
We were changing plans all the time but these guys are so flexible, everything was fine for them. We had such a great time, fantastic driver/guide and wonderful places to stay. They went out if their way to make us happy. 10 out of 10, highly recommended!

Without a doubt, we will be booking with Spirit of Kenya again!
After evaluating proposals from around half a dozens of safari operators, we selected Spirit of Kenya for the final leg of our honeymoon. Rather than reiterate the firm’s many strengths, let us outline below the lessons we will apply on our next visit—each drawn from the exemplary service of two individuals: Victor (planner) and Dominic (guide).
1. Begin by consulting Victor: Sketch the preferred destinations and time budget, then let Victor refine the itinerary. Out plan clearly surpassed the alternatives we received, the main reason we have chosen Spirit of Kenya.
2. Limit the itinerary to a manageable scope: On our trip we visited three parks in six days. Following Victor’s counsel, we will resist the temptation to over-schedule; fewer stops yield more wildlife hours and lower transit fatigue.
3. Request Dominic as guide: Dominic’s crazy knowledge of species, uncanny spotting ability (he located a lion pride while driving which we failed to see even through binoculars), and respect for animal welfare made him an ideal companion. We will not have another Safari in Kenya without him!
4. Trust Dominic’s in-field adjustments: Twice he proposed minor timing changes that gave us an extra one-to-two hours inside the reserves—one of which produced the lion sighting mentioned above. We cannot stress enough my trust in his abilities.
In short, our experience with Spirit of Kenya—and particularly with Victor and Dominic—was outstanding. We look forward to engaging the same team on our next safari.

Thiam Travels was an exceptional tour operator and crafted an unforgettable South African journey for a group of 11 people ages 11-81! We hit all of the highlights, Capetown area for several days, winelands, intrastate flights to/from the Garden Route, and a malaria-free luxury safari.
Thiam was also very meticulous and able to easily change itineraries when needed because of the weather, (including the tablecloth on Table Mountain) or when we expressed interest to visit a garden.

Exceptional Experience with a Luxury Twist
We couldn’t wish for a better safari experience - High Neck were very reliable, flexible and accommodating.
Even though we came during the low season, our amazing guide Edward was able to show us all the animals we wanted to see and really went extra mile to show us around.
The definite highlight of the trip was also the choice of accommodations that High Neck did for us - we got a chance to stay in incredible lodges in all the parks and even in the famous Four Seasons Serengeti.
Another important thing to mark is the absence of touristic traps - we were not taken to any fake souvenir shops, irrelevant museums or staged shows. Our main goal was to focus on spotting animals and our guide did everything to maximize our time in the parks.
Overall, just an amazing experience - from the most comfortable car (even in comparison to fellow safari travelers in the park) to local insight from the guide and, of course, seeing all the Big 5!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience
We saw all the animals, including leopard and rhinos, that are very hard to spot. Our guide was fantastic — knowledgeable and passionate, no matter how much driving there was or complex the route our guide made sure we saw every animal! — and the lodges were comfortable and beautifully located. Every day was a new adventure, with stunning landscapes and incredible wildlife. I highly recommend this agency and our guide Edward, if you want want to be guided by people that really care and who want to give you the absolute best experience. You can really see they care!
