Outstanding in every way
If I could give Amani Afrika and its owners, Godwin and Vivian, 5-½ stars, I would. We recently returned from a fabulous trip to Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda, all arranged through them. We spent several nights each in two of Tanzania’s best game parks (Ngorongoro, Serengeti), then 4 nights on the beach in Zanzibar, and finished with a tour to see the chimps in Uganda and the gorillas in Rwanda. Everything was planned and executed perfectly. Not only that, but we had a car and driver/guide to ourselves for the whole time. The lodgings were first rate (check out Essque Zalu in Zanzibar, for example). Our driver/guides were local natives and were extremely knowledgeable and personable. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of tour company, and we got it all for about ½ the price of a commercial tour group. I should also mention that Vivian is a terrific communicator and went above and beyond to see that our every need was met.

Helpful and cheery, variable in communications
We did self cater, self drive to Kruger.
Service was helpful and upbeat. Booking consultant was very enthusiastic and friendly. Information regarding the cost conservation fees for foreigners could have been more specific. Generally, given we had an unfortunate cancellation the outcome has been favourable and Kruger.com assisted in the credit.
We enjoyed our Kruger visit.

Terri-Ann Scholtz of Ker and Downey Africa planned our perfect family trip to Tanzania and Rwanda!
I contacted Ker and Downey Africa blindly and was blown away by the responsiveness, service level, and incredible recommendations that our representative Terri-Ann Scholtz provided. Never did more than a few hours go by without a reply from Terri-Ann. I gave her a brief outline of what I wanted to do and where I wanted to visit, and she gave me a few great options from which to choose. She gave me her opinion on each, pricing, expectations, and details descriptions. When I showed any concern, she explained further why she thought I would enjoy the excursion or she gave me other options. She never hesitated to give references of other families who had used her and / or the company before. It was their glowing recommendations and her level of service that gave me the confidence I needed to sign on. The trip exceeded our expectations! We spent 8 days in Tanzania and 3 days in Rwanda, and we stayed at the most incredible lodges and camps. Favorites were Tarangire Tree Tops and Serengeti Migration Camp. Terri-Ann also arranged private tours for us. Our guides were knowledgeable, respectful, committed, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every minute. The food everywhere was delicious. The descriptions of our itinerary did not do justice to the experience. We went in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti and went trekking in the forest to find a family of 24 gorillas that we observed and spent time with in Rwanda. Everything was perfect, and this trip has been our best family vacation yet! I recommend Ker and Downey Africa without any reservations.

Our trip was absolutely wonderful, especially as I was visiting completely new areas in Tanzania to those I had been to as a child. All the transfers and flights were well co-ordinated and our welcome at each camp made us feel very special.
We were fortunate in having guides who were delighted to point out and identify some of the smaller animals and many of the birds. This made the safaris really enjoyable and fulfilling.

The guide was knowledgeable and the camping was comfortable.
Charles gave us a very enjoyable and informative safari. He keeps animal guidebooks in the car for the benefit of his customers, but he never had to refer to them. He could identify every mammal and bird species that we saw. He was very good at locating game animals. In one case he saw fresh tire tracks turning off of the road into the bush. He told us, “There is something interesting here,” and followed the tracks to a family of leopards. He single-handedly chased away an enormous male elephant that was eating acacia seed pods in our camp (but not until after we took pictures). Charles is also very personable, and told us stories about growing up in Botswana (his father wanted him to raise cattle).
The tents were comfortable and the food was great. A very nice "glamping" experience.

Fabulous trip!!!
Nature Travel Namibia far exceeded our expectations. Jakes was a wonderful host and guide, he looked after every detail from the first to the last day of our safari. We are looking at another safari in Kenya but I told my husband that I would just as soon go back to Namibia and have Jakes take us on safari again.... it was that GOOD!!!

Excellent Safari to Ngorongoro Crater with Kakasii
The entire experience was professional, interesting, and FUN! Brenda and Kakasii made sure we knew exactly what to expect, answered all of our questions leading up to the trip, and just made the whole process easy. Kakasii was an excellent guide. We learned about the crater, the animals, and the Maasai culture. He made sure we saw as many animals as possible and answered our many, many questions with patience. I would definitely use Tanzania Choice Safaris again if given the opportunity.

Unforgettable safari experience
Thanks to vivasafaris we had a splendid week of safari in greater Kruger. Booking and e-mail contact went really smoothly. Every question was answered quickly. On arrival in Johannesburg we had a delay and missed our shuttle organised by vivasafaris. It only needed a simple phone call to hq of vivasafaris and a new shuttle was arranged. Our stay in Katekani tented lodge was unforgettable ! The hosts and staff did everything to make our stay unforgettable. Day trips and safari excursions were organized very well. Drivers and guides were super friendly , motivated and well educated.
We really enjoyed our first travel to Kruger and would recommend Vivasafaris to everybody who is looking for an unforgettable and well organised Kruger safari .

WOW-Safari
First of all I want to thank manager Luis, who helped me to organize a very specific trip with my special requests and wishes in a very short term: we had 2 weeks only before the trip.
I changed an itinerary about 10 times as I tried to make it work in a best way and Luis helped me with so much attention to my needs: the trip was organized perfectly and we didn't need to think about anything during our travel.
Another great thing about this agency - they have special quotation in some hotels, so you have a chance to get hotel price much lower than via official hotel website or booking/hotels.com etc.
Safari:
We had a good guide Estomih, who did his best to show us as much animals as possible and also followed our wishes (we wanted to see lions most of all). He listened to game radio with attention and could find out animals' location very quickly. He is also a great driver! I can say that because we saw so many cars got stuck and we never had this problem. He was driving very carefully but not too slow.
