Our Kenyan safari was an amazing experience from start to finish! Norah was our tour consultant, and she made the planning process easy and stress-free. She was professional, quick to respond to our questions, and helpful in ensuring everything was arranged according to our expectations. We felt well informed before the trip even began.
Sam, our safari guide, was fantastic. He was welcoming, easy to get along with, and very knowledgeable about the animals and the local environment. His sharp eyes helped us spot wildlife we might otherwise have missed. He was also patient and made sure we had enough time to enjoy the sightings and take photos.
One of the best parts of the trip was seeing how different each destination was. The scenery, the wildlife, and the experience of being out in the wild made every day exciting in its own way.

Our guide Raheem Mwema was exceptional - knowledgeable about wildlife and patient. We were lucky to see four out of five big five animals (except rhinos).
Whole trip was perfectly paced, a lot of time to take photos of the animals.

Quick communication and problem solver
Initially, we were a bit uncertain because of the small number of reviews, but all our doubts quickly vanished.
Mike from Big Bull Safari was exceptionally communicative and always responded to our inquiries within a very short time. Due to illness during our trip, we faced a few unexpected issues and needed assistance along the way. Big Bull Safari stepped in every single time without delay, providing quick support and outstanding solutions.
The safari tours themselves were wonderful. The guides were consistently friendly, helpful, and took plenty of time at every sight—we never felt rushed at all. Our accommodation, the Umbhaba Eco Lodge, was also beautiful. A special highlight was the dinner: the buffet offered exceptionally high-quality and delicious dishes.
We can highly recommend Big Bull Safari and would definitely book with them again!

Professional and affordable Lifetime-Experience
We‘ve booked the 3-Day Massai Mara-Tour, based on a recommendation of some Friends. Communication was easy from the beginning via WhatsApp and Mail. Replies came almost immediately. Started in Nairobi in the morning, we had our first Game-Drive already the same afternoon until Sunset. Our Guide Gilbert was incredible and managed to find the Big 5 and much more Game along the route within the first 3 hours. The second day then was really what you can call „Once in a liftime“! From the pure Beauty and Grace of so many animals like Giraffes and Elephants which created so many heartwarming moments, sometimes only a few Meters Away, up to the pure brutality of the Circle of life when we witnessed a complete and successful Hunt of 3 Lioness on a group of Wildebeest, lasting for about 1/2 hour and letting our hearts stop beating when they finally attacked at close range. One kill for that day was enough and we all were therefore happy when a group of Zebras crossed the Croc-infested Mara-River und reached the other side unharmed, despite some Crocs were visible very close to them. Only a few stories of what we were blessed to experience. As I said: Unforgettable moments, thanks to our great Guide Gilbert!

Excellent holiday with great support as a disabled independent traveller nothing was to much trouble
As a disabled traveller the staff made the holiday so easy to enjoy i can’t fault the organisation at every stage the safari was exciting and well set up at each lodge camp the staff supported myself and made me feel engaged at every point. Each camp communicated my accessibility needs with each other so there was no compromise and things just flowed from camp to camp. The tour it’s self was excellent and as I have done safaris previous this one to Malawi and Zambia will always be one to remember

Kenya: A Warm Welcome and the Magic of the Maasai Mara
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), we were warmly received and transferred to Eka Hotel Nairobi, an excellent choice that offered comfortable accommodation, wonderful facilities, and a relaxing start to our adventure.
The following morning, our journey continued to the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, where we experienced the magnificent wildebeest migration of 2026. The wildlife encounters were extraordinary, and the sheer beauty of the African wilderness exceeded our expectations. Our five-night stay at Olive Bush Camp provided an exceptional safari atmosphere, combining comfort, hospitality, and proximity to the wilderness.
Every game drive was an opportunity to discover something remarkable, and our guide’s extensive knowledge, professionalism, and understanding of wildlife behaviour made the experience even more rewarding.
Tanzania: The Endless Plains of the Serengeti and the Wonder of Ngorongoro
Our journey continued across the Isebania border into Tanzania, where the coordination between Holidayworks Africa Tours and Safaris LTD and its local ground-handling partners was outstanding.
We were particularly impressed by the meticulous arrangements made before our departure from Kenya. Contact details were exchanged in advance, and our pickups, transfers, safari arrangements, and drop-offs were confirmed well ahead of time. At every important entry and exit point, we received the assistance and guidance we needed. Our luggage was handled safely, and the entire cross-border experience was smooth and reassuring.
In the magnificent Serengeti National Park, we enjoyed unforgettable wildlife experiences, spending two nights at Mara Bush Camp and one night at Sightseeing Lodge. The vast savannahs, extraordinary wildlife, and spectacular scenery made this part of our journey truly special.
We then proceeded to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. The landscapes and wildlife encounters were breathtaking, and our two-night stay at Karatusi Safari Lodge provided a comfortable base from which to enjoy this incredible destination.
Throughout Tanzania, the coordination, local expertise, and communication between the teams were commendable. Despite travelling across international borders and working with different ground-handling teams, we always felt supported, informed, and well cared for.
Zanzibar: A Perfect Beach Escape to Conclude Our Adventure
Following our Ngorongoro experience, we travelled to Arusha for our flight to the beautiful island of Zanzibar, where the final chapter of our family holiday unfolded.
We received a warm welcome and were transferred to Riu Palace Zanzibar, where we enjoyed four nights of relaxation, comfort, and exceptional hospitality.
After days of exciting game drives and remarkable wildlife encounters, Zanzibar offered the perfect opportunity to unwind. Its stunning coastal scenery, turquoise waters, extraordinary marine life, and captivating tropical atmosphere created the ideal conclusion to our East African adventure.
It was a wonderful reminder of the diversity of East Africa: from the magnificent wildlife reserves of Kenya and Tanzania to the pristine beaches and spectacular ocean scenery of Zanzibar.
