I was part of a group travel and this team did a stellar job managing such a huge team. It being my first safari, they have definitely set a standard!
We did Serengeti, Ngorongoro and a village tour to Mto wa mbu. Ngorongoro definitely won my heart. So beautiful, when they say it's like Garden of Eden of Africa it really is.
From the time we landed, transfers to/from the airport were done well,the drivers interacted really well with us. On safari, the guides were just amazing from Saleh,Ozzie,Yusuph and Emmanuel. Their patience and dedication to their work was evident. At no point did they seem tired or bothered even after long drives or numerous questions and requests from us.
As somebody who loves food, I must say the lunches we had on safari were really impressive. So delicious, warm and more than enough considering our numbers. The guides set the table and served us really well. The hospitality was just impressive.
We slept at Nyota Luxury camp which was also amazing with amazing staff. The only downside I'll mention here is that the water was pretty cold in the morning because they use solar,.maybe something to look into.
All in all, highly highly recommend Lion King!

Fantastic and motivated local company providing private and comfortable camping safaris
We signed up for a 10-night camping safari that included five 2-night stays: first 2 nights in a community concession in the Okavango Delta (mokoro and walking safari), and then 2 nights each in Moremi, Kawhi, Savute, and Chobe (safari truck). We had a very experienced and certified safari guide who knew the parks and animals very well, a cook who prepared remarkably good food over the campfire (even baking bread), a driver/camp hand who drove the support truck and helped with camp setup, and a camp hand who set up camp and provided us with warm water for hand washing and showers. The tent was perfect, the cots (with little mattresses) were quite comfortable, and the enclosed area in the back for the toilet and showering gave good privacy and protection when needing to relieve oneself in the night. Walking stick also arranged a river tour and transport for us to Victoria Falls after the conclusion of our trip, and the contractors they work with were fabulous.
The trip itself was amazing -- even life changing. Botswana has made a big effort to preserve and share their natural resources, and what we saw and experienced was awe-inspiring. Every body we dealt with in Botswana seemed very focused on making sure the tourists were happy. Their economy depends on it, and they seemed pretty proud of the job they're doing (and they should be). And the product they're pedaling was amazing. All three of our guides (the local community guy in the Delta, the certified safari guide, and the boat tour captain) were very different and very knowledgable, and we enjoyed them greatly. They clearly enjoyed their jobs showing off what the land had to offer. Never at any time through the entire tour did we wonder what we were to do next. We were handed off from person to person from when we landed in Maun until we reached our hotel in Victoria Falls, and every person knew exactly what they were to provide for us and where to take us.
We went with Walking Stick because we didn't want to be part of a big tour group but couldn't afford the private safaris. I'm not sure how we found them, but they had good reviews so we decided to go for it. I'm glad we did. It was worth every dime.

We had the great pleasure of having the best tour guide in Gustav to show us the best of Kruger National Park. He was very informative and we managed to see every animal on our list. Great experience and highly recommended.

All beyond expectations
I need to give a shout out to Go Makini Tanzania Expedition! We had a blast of a Safari experience. Our outstanding guide Ombeni and our amazing cook Pastor made the best out of our 6 days experience with them. I don't need to talk about the national parks, they are stunning and a must see, but Makini made the difference. Also the staff (thanks Nancy!) were always present in the organization to make sure we had the best possible experience. I highly recommend choosing Makini for an all around great experience. Thank you for this unforgettable memory!

Great safari expierence and Johny was the best!
The safari was very informative and we were able to see all the animals including the big 5! Johny was our driver and guide for our time here and he was brilliant, his skills at driving and knowledge of the area was perfect!

Kind, accommodating, and exceeded expectations
We did a 7 day (6 days in the parks + 1 day in Arusha when we travelled in) safari through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti with Ozon Light tours, and I’d highly recommend them to any other travellers. From the start, Yohana made the booking process easy by being very responsive to my messages despite the time difference & customizing all the hotels and travel itinerary to suit our budget. I also found they were good value for money compared to the other tour operators I had contacted about the same or similar trips (I compared 5 different tour operators and they came out on top). Once on the safari, our guides Bahati and Denis were great! They were extremely kind and accommodating, and they went above and beyond my expectations to make sure we saw the big 5. They were also very knowledgeable about the animals and history of the areas and provided lots of good information. Overall they made this a truly memorable trip!
For anyone looking for recommendations, I think 5-6 days in the parks should be enough for most, and you’ll need to see multiple parks to see all the animals. Most tour companies (such as Ozon) can also customize the trips to match your schedule & budgets.

An unforgettable experience! The organization was excellent, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guide Isaiah was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. Amazing, very well organised and has the best guides
Safari has been on our bucket list and 2025 was the year x I found Serengeti African Tours via a Google search and after reading the reviews and contacting I found Linah to be very helpful, very quick to respond and very friendly x we booked a 3 day fly in private safari trip and had the most amazing experience of our lives x our guide Abuuh was so knowledgeable and helpful and became our friend for the time we had x he found the best spots for us to see and parked our jeep close for the most amazing photos
