About: Go Safari
Warm , friendly and authentic safari lodge
5/5

I can highly recommend Sausage Tree Farm as a safari destination.
The lodge is small, simple, friendly and brings one very close to nature. There are just 5 tented pods accommodating 10 guests which enables a close interaction between guests and the local staff. The tents are well maintained and serviced and are air conditioned . The food is excellent. There are 2 elephant watering holes in front of the lodge where the elephants can be viewed.
The host, James, joins the guests at breakfast where he outlines his vision for the lodge. The tracker and spotter Tsembo and Life were excellent and usually joined us for dinner as did some of the local catering staff.
I can unreservedly recommend Sausage Tree Farm for a safari for a client who wants an authentic safari which brings them close to nature and view the animals in their natural habitat.
I consider the safari as very good value .

Destiny Explorers means perfect Safari time
5/5

We booked a 4-day, 3-night safari with Destiny Explorers, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! Communication with Issa was excellent, with prompt responses and helpful tips on how to prepare for the safari. His choice of accommodation was perfect – we couldn’t have done better ourselves. Our safari guide, David, was extraordinary: he had a perfect driving style, was highly knowledgeable about wildlife, shared many fascinating stories, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the sights. We always felt safe and made so many wonderful memories. We highly recommend Destiny Explorers, and our dream is to climb Kilimanjaro with them in the future.

Incredible honeymoon experience
5/5

We booked our Honeymoon through Ways of Africa travel. I seriously cannot recommend this company enough. Paul was fantastic through the planning phase, helping choose the correct hotels for us and planning our trip for the best experience in the time we had.

When we landed we were picked up and taken straight to our hotel in Nairobi for the night. The next morning we were introduced to Dan, our driver for the whole experience, who was nothing less than fantastic. His local knowledge of the area and contacts/friends he had with the tribesman made for an unreal experience. Dan somehow knew where all the animals would be in Maasai Mara, and we were lucky enough to see basically every animal there is to see there.

The hotels booked for us were also perfect, the rooms were huge and comfortable (with incredible views), the food was fantastic and the staff couldn't be friendlier!

I simply cannot recommend this company enough. I genuinely believe we were the envy of all the other tours out there :)

About: Tanzania
Nature in the best way possible.

5/5

We had a 6 day safari. We went to Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National park. First 2 mentioned are smaller parks that was for us just some hours driving in it. Its great to get to know how a gamedrive works. And to see animals.
Ngorongoro Crater is amazing. But also feel like a bit predictable. As its a "small" space were so much wild life is. So that it makes it easier to see the animals that are there. Doesnt make it less cool. But for me Serengeti was the best park. Its very big and with the experienced driver from Meru Slopes "Nuru" we did different parts of the park. He knew where a lot of animals could be find. Still a lot of looking to see if you can see them as some of them are well hidden. But with his perfect sight we saw a lot, the big 5 almost twice besides the Leopard. It was a great experience.
We went in low season Half November. The campsite "Ngiri" in Serengeti was the first night just us (made us a bit scared) because there is no fence or something. So all animals can walk in. But we managed. The second night were some more people. I can imagine in High season its a lot less clean but still an amazing experience.
Camp Simba on the rim of Ngorongoro crater was better organised and cleaner. Also there were more people sleeping that night. Both camls animals came at night padt our tent.
The experience was one to never ever forget. Meru Slopes made it perfect.

Review about Lake Manyara National Park by Rik
Overall rating
3/5

The park is covered by 70% with a lake. We came after heavy rain fall which ment the lake had 80%. And some roads we could take. They are trying to get back some Elephants and other wildlife by cutting some trees and bushes. Which would be great hopefully in the future but for now not so nice. It was nice to see Baboons up close and see them play and live together.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Rik

Its an amazing place. 600m down on the crater floor it is so rich with animals its unbelievable. On 17 x 19km all animals live together and have there own system. Its magical seeing it. But because it is small that means also its easier to spot which is nice if you dont have that much time. But you cant spent days here as you would go over and over on the same roads. You have to watch more at one place which would be cool too.
Campsite Simba has a beautiful view of the crater and in 30 min your on the craterfloor.

This is my number one park. There is always a new road to take and to spot another animals as there are so many. We spotted the big 5 and so much more. From a Cheetah posing for us on a rock to going to hunt a Warthog. Unfortunatly for the Cheetah it missed. But every day was a new experience which made it truly amazing. We slept 2 nights at bushcamp Ngiri. Its very basic but for these 2 nights all fine. It was low season so not many people. I can imagine in high season its very busy and not so clean anymore. Never the less it is amazing to sleep inside the park.

Best safari in my life
5/5

I am Korean. It was my first trip to Africa. My family of 4 visited Kenya and wanted to go on a safari in Masai Mara. We chose Laxatrails Safaris for a 2 night 3 day trip and had a great time.

We had a private tour with Laxa Trails Tour and they provided us with the best land cruiser vehicle. During our time traveling around Masai Mara National Park, we saw many animals with the best guide. (Lions, male lions, giraffes, hippos, zebras, etc.) They drove smoothly on unpaved roads and bad roads and made us comfortable.

Laxa Trails Tour booked us a 4 star hotel so we could stay in a safe place during the tour. We were served a course meal with great service every meal and had a good rest in a place with good air.

Laxa Trails Tour picked us up from our accommodation and took us to the hotel on the last day. We visited Masai Village on the first day of the tour and Lake Naivasha on the last day. I was satisfied with the rich composition.

Peter from Laxa Trails Tour was the fastest to respond to me among the dozens of African safari tours I contacted. He sent me the most sincere itinerary and conducted the tour reflecting all our requests. I would like to express my gratitude to peter and all the members of Laxa Trails Tour.

For those who are hesitating, Don't hesitate and apply with confidence!
It was a family trip with adults and my parents really enjoyed it!

Amazing experience but not perfect
3/5

### Positive Points:
1. Our driver was extremely attentive and friendly, always listening carefully to our requests.
2. The dedicated chef provided excellent meals throughout the tour. The portions were generous and everything was delicious.
3. We were able to see all the animals we hoped to encounter, making the core safari experience fantastic.

### Areas for Improvement:
1. Communication with the tour office was sometimes challenging. We often needed multiple attempts to get our requests across, although they were eventually accommodated.
2. The safari vehicle was outdated with poor facilities. The promised power outlets for charging devices weren't functional.
3. Security concerns: A friend had money stolen from their belongings after being told it was safe to leave items in the tent during the tour.
4. The shower facilities were significantly below expectations:
- Only cold water was available despite being told we could shower morning and evening
- Showers were located inside toilets with poor hygiene conditions
- No prior information was provided about the shower situation

Overall, while the wildlife viewing and food were excellent, the facility standards and communication issues detracted from the experience.
