Ellie and Chanelle are fabulous travel agents. They were extremely helpful from our initial inquiries and throughout our trip. They arranged wonderful accommodations in South Africa. All the meet ups and flights went exactly as planned. When I got in touch with Chanelle while on our trip she responded immediately and was very helpful. Thank you both for a wonderful experience. My advice is do not book with this company, no wonder there are no other reviews for them
I booked a safari with them in January of 2024. It was supposed to start on 10/31. I waited for them to contact me before but didn't hear a word. I texted to ask them when will they pick us up, considering that all other tour operators picked up their clients more than an hour ago. They told me that they are now trying to find a driver. Another hour passed, no one came so I asked them for a refund and booked with another company. They promised me that the refund will be processed in a month on 11/30. On 12/2 I saw no refund so I contacted them again. I was told to wait until 12/28 because they need to open a PayPal account and wait 60 days, when I pushed, the reason changed to "I need to obtain a signature with my boss but she's in South Africa and will be back on 12/27" The saga is ongoing and I'm planning to involve my bank for help as I don't believe a word of what they are saying. Use another company. Anyone else will do!

Mr. Able Mugyenyi was knowledgeable, resourceful, helpful and experienced, and an excellent driver.
In November 2024 was on a six-day solo tour starting in Kigali and ending in Entebbe. The highlights were gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park and chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. The arrangements for overland travel, accommodation and tours were all done properly and reliably. I found the cost reasonable. Occasionally, the circumstances, such as heavy downpours, delayed or prevented certain activities. Nevertheless, the tour operator did his best to maximize the activities of the day. I found that it is important to be ready for last-minute changes in the itinerary or schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. It is also important to keep communicating about the schedule of the day and the following day in order to be prepared. Occasionally the guide did not appear at the scheduled time in the mornings but each time this happened it was easily resolved. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, especially if one has a sense of adventure and humour, and a degree of flexibility.

Amazing!!
We went on a 4-day safari to Mikumi, and we couldn’t be more delighted with the experience. From the moment we got in touch with Winnie, she was incredibly responsive and helpful, patiently answering all our questions and ensuring everything was perfectly organized. She connected us with our guide, William, who picked us up at our apartment in Dar es Salaam and accompanied us throughout the weekend.
Our visit to the Maasai village was absolutely fascinating. Everyone we met there was so warm and welcoming, making the experience truly memorable. Over the next two days, we explored Mikumi National Park, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. We saw an incredible variety of animals and birds, and William shared a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife, their behaviors, and the ecosystem.
What stood out the most was William’s knowledge and deep respect for the animals and their natural habitat, ensuring a responsible and enriching safari. Since the tour was private, we could ask as many questions as we wanted and customize the itinerary to suit our preferences, which made the trip even more special. William really made sure that we had the best experience.
When it was time to return to Dar es Salaam, William went above and beyond by helping us secure ferry tickets to Zanzibar and ensuring we reached the terminal safely. His thoughtfulness and professionalism truly made a difference.
I wholeheartedly recommend booking your safari with Kihindo Tours. They provide an exceptional and personalized safari experience at a very reasonable price. If I ever get the chance to go on safari again, I wouldn't want to book with any other company.

It is easy to travel with SimienEcoTours, because the planning was perfect and was realized
Our guide Joshua was very qualified, empathic and caring. It was easy to discuss with him our requests for modification. As a proud Ethiopian, he represented his country excellently and it accessible to us.
The local guides we met had an excellent knowledge of what they showed to us but their english was for us as non-native speaker sometimes difficult. Joshua several times tried to help us.
The hotels they choosed for us were all ok, very friendly staff and good facilities (such as pool, sauna)
Culturally, historically and archeologically an extremely interesting country, but it is necessary, especially for elder clients to plan in between a little bit time for relax.
A must for people with cultural and geological interests in Africa, not for interests in fauna and flora.
