Our Tanzania safari with Julio's company
was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we landed, we were impressed by the professionalism and expertise of our tour guide, Julio John Babu.
Julio was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, ecosystems, and local culture. Their passion for conservation was evident, and they shared fascinating insights throughout our journey. Their ability to spot wildlife was truly remarkable, and we were constantly amazed by the incredible sightings we had, including the Big Five.
The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, and the food was delicious. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to experience the best of Tanzania without feeling rushed.

Professional operator, experienced guide, fantastic chef, great value
We had a wonderful experience with Meru Slopes on our 6-day safari. We did the "migration route" camping safari. Jerome had very professional communication and laid out the tour options very clearly for us. He was always timely in his responses too and answered all of our questions. Our driving guide was Robert, and we have nothing but fantastic reviews for him. He went to school for wildlife studies in Kenya and has been a guide for 12+ years. We were often the first jeep to spot many animals, and he was keenly tuned into the radio with his network of friends. We didn't appreciate how important this was because his friends would alert him of new sightings, and we would zip across the park to maximize wildlife sightings on each day. He was very knowledgeable, spoke great English, and did a wonderful job overall. Would ask for him specifically if we did another tour. Our cook Gideon was also fantastic! We had wonderful breakfasts, hot lunches, and wonderful dinners every day. Thank you Gideon! We liked the itinerary with Meru because we had three nights camping and a couple nights in a lodge, and they also cover lodging the first night and last night in Arusha. So, the all-in price includes lodging for 7 nights and has 6 days of safari. Other operators said it was a six day tour, but those six days included the first day you land in Arusha with no safari on that day. Pay attention to this when booking! Or just save some time and book with Meru. 5/5 star, locally owned operator. Thank you Meru!

The best !
It was one of the best trips of our lives. We have travelling during one month. Our guide, Daniel Baguma, gave us a very warm welcome. He took care of finding us accommodation that suited our budget and showed us around his country with great passion. His knowledge of Ugandan culture, fauna and flora is immense. He is a very human person who will take care of you as if you were his family. Over the course of the trip, he has become a true friend. I can't recommend Daniel highly enough, he's a man you can trust. Enjoy!!!

This was my first time going on a Safari and I was super lucky to have Karibu Tena Tours coordinating it. Very organized, very detailed and their passion to provide the best experience possible made the entire trip an epic adventure.
My favorite people on the trip was the driver and the chef 😀 the driver being on time and very friendly, and the chef for the incredible food! Thank you KT.

We had an amazing Kilimanjaro trek with Samson and Jeffrey of Mboni Adventures. They were friendly, humorous and competently supported us throughout the entire trek. They ensure that that we were safe, secure and comfortable. I was very impressed by Samson the lead as he took everything under his leadership such that no detail escaped him.
The trip went on trouble free, there was enough to eat for all, working equipment and we really gelled well together. The trek was very tough as the conditions take their toll on the body, particularly the low oxygen at the high altitude made us tire very quickly. The crew encouraged and helped us a lot. The extra day for acclimatization helped us make the last push for the summit.
I have a lot of admiration and respect for these guys. They are the reason we made it to Uhuru Peak.

Knowledgeable, reliable and very responsive tour operator
Our safari trip to kenya was the highlight of our trip to Tsavo east and west. The accommodation was spectacular,(saltlick and voi safari lodge) the service was fantastic and on the game drives we saw everything there was to see. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a safari holiday. We stayed for 3 days/2 nights which whilst that felt enough for safari (4 game drives), it didn't feel quite long enough to enjoy all of Saltlick!. The service from Africa Starpal Safaris Team was also brilliant - they were very responsive to all questions and very proactive in providing recommendations, quotes and answering questions. Highly recommend!
