Unforgettable Safari with a Great Guide!
5/5

We had an amazing safari tour in Tanzania and were absolutely thrilled! Our guide, Isaya, was not only very professional but also incredibly friendly and funny. You could immediately tell that he had a lot of experience – he shared so much interesting knowledge about the animals, nature, and local culture.

Thanks to Isaya, we always felt safe and well taken care of. We saw so many animals, including the Big Five, and experienced countless unforgettable moments.

The entire tour was perfectly organized, and we can truly recommend it to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. Thank you, Isaya – you made our trip something truly special!

Excellent arrangements, had great safaris
5/5

We have done safaris for 6 days with guide Papa john, he is a very nice person and good guide, we can see most of the animals. Arrangements were perfect from Axis safaris, we didn’t faced any issue and didn’t have to worry about anything .
It was a comfortable and safe journey thanks to the guide and axis safari team.

not bad
5/5

The scenery is beautiful, the itinerary is interesting, and the tour guide Richerad is very professional. You can skip the Mara River if you don't want to see the wildebeest crossing the river. It's very hot and there's nothing to see. Please save your time for Safari, which is a great experience. You can stay more time in Masai Mara, which is very exciting! It's a pity that Amboseli didn't see Mount Kilimanjaro because of the weather.

An absolute dream come true!
5/5

We had an incredible 6 day safari with Serengeti Zealand a. Our guide Nickson was amazing. He took care of us, helped us see all the Big 5 and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We were very impressed with his knowledge and care.
One of the best things about the safari was the food. We didn’t expect to be eating like royalty out in the plains of Africa but chef Dula was fantastic. Our only complaint is that the food was so good we are all going home a bit fat. Thank you again to the team!

Very attentive and helpful
5/5

Everything worked exactly like planned. We didn’t have to take care of anything except being at the spot at the right time which was not difficult due to clear instructions. Our guide was wonderful. We really enjoyed the full schedule. If you want down time I would suggest to add a day with no game drives cause the schedule is packed! Which, once again, we really enjoyed!

Unforgettable Safari with Julius – The Best Guide We Could Have Asked For
5/5

We had the absolute privilege of spending 5 days on safari in Kenya with Julius as our guide, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the very first moment, Julius made us feel welcome and at ease. His kindness, patience, and deep knowledge of the land and wildlife made every day extraordinary.

We saw more animals than we ever dreamed of; Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, and so much more — all in their natural habitat. It was emotional and awe-inspiring, and Julius gave us the space and insight to fully appreciate each moment. He knew exactly where to go and always made sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying ourselves.

What stood out most was Julius’s genuine care. He wasn’t just a guide he was a gracious host, a storyteller, and a friend by the end of the journey. His passion for wildlife and respect for nature were infectious, and his connection with the local communities made us feel welcomed everywhere we went.

The hospitality we received from Julius and the people we met along the way was beyond anything we expected. We left with full hearts, beautiful memories, and a deep appreciation for Kenya’s wildlife and culture.

Thank you, Julius, for giving us such a meaningful and moving experience. We couldn’t recommend you more highly.

Truly a leisure escape! Safari 2025
5/5

This was our first safari and it truly exceeded our expectations! We did a private luxury safari and the accommodations provided were absolutely spectacular.

We directly communicated with Esther via emails and she was very prompt and professional. She provided us with a detailed itinerary which highlighted our route, lodges with photos and a daily itinerary so we could clearly see what we would be doing.

Duncan was our tour guide for the week and we really could not fault him, he was absolutely excellent! He has 20+ years of safari experience and you could really tell by the way he got us to the perfect spots at the right times to see the animals! He gave us so much insight not only to the animals but also into Kenya. He managed the bumpy roads really well, felt very safe with him and he was extremely professional and very patient. If we wanted to see a particular animal he was on the hunt for them. His vision and hazard perception is amazing, wish I could see as far as he can! He truly is an asset to the company!

We stayed at the following lodges:
Tulia in Amboseli where we had a beautiful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro from our room
Sawela lodge in Lake Naivasha where the food variety was incredible and beautiful grounds.
Sara Lion hill game lodge at Lake Nakuru which is inside the national park so you get to see all the animals whilst driving.
Neptune at Masai Mara which was my absolute favourite! They provided us a personal chef, a butler who brought us a hot drink in the morning to wake us up and also the room and lodge had a hippos in your eyeline, it was truly an incredible experience. You can see bush babies here at the lodge also and a beautiful sunrise to wake up to! Our butler Moses was incredible, he gave us hot water bottles before bed and blankets to keep us warm through the night.

All the lodges we stayed at provided outstanding food and clean amenities. The staff were very helpful and everyone made sure our stay met our needs.

We also did the additional activities of the Masai Mara village visit where we were welcomed by the chiefs son and shown cultural dances and given an insight to their daily lives. We also did the hippo boat safari at Lake Navaisha where we got close up to the hippos and saw some beautiful birds. We also did a walking safari there which truly was an experience!

Also our jeep was very safe and secure which I think is really important considering you are amongst wild animals! But it provided us with excellent views and we weren’t restricted.

I honestly would thoroughly recommend Leisure escapes, it really was worth every penny! Only wish we booked longer!

Responsive, reliable and flexible to my needs
5/5

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish being picked up at my hotel in Kigali then driven to the park by Peter where we met our guide Eric. It was my first ever safari and was a fabulous experience. Eric accommodated my birding and we stopped frequently so I could take photographs from the jeep. The boat trip was fantastic too seeing huge crocodiles, more hippos, elephants and 100s of roosting birds. Ruzizi tented lodge was incredible as was watching the moon rise over the lake and the micro bats. Thoroughly recommend.
