Climbing the Kilimanjaro
5/5

We climbed the Kilimanjaro with Benson Safaris Tanzania. We had a great guide, everything was very well arranged and we had a great time. Before climbing Benson replied very quickly to all our questions and we could even borrow a headlight that we lost somewhere in Tanzania. In short, very good communication and service.

Wonderful safari!
5/5

I would recommend Axis Africa Safari to anyone coming to Kenya. This company sought to match -- if not beat -- other safari prices. They kept in touch constantly with me beforehand (I must have emailed them at least fifty times). They were also able to formulate a two day Nairobi city tour (which was not a part of the original package, but they agreed to take us around the city). Lennox, the tour operator, was good with the itinerary and was very welcoming. Peter, the driver, safely took us around during our five day visit, and he never rushed us.

Wonderfull experience, very well organized, reliable and very kind guides, amazing food: the best!
5/5

Filemon and his staff are very nice, responsible and attentive; they really want you to have an unforgettable trip. Being born in the village in the middle of the Okavango-delta, they are really the best guides to show you all the beautifull and interesting secrets of this area. There is no standard programm; Filemon makes it custom; let him advice you. We have had a very good combination of long and short safari-walks and boattrips. The tents we were sleeping in are fine. It's amazing how the cooks can prepare such wonderfull lunches and dinners on an open fire: we loved everything. We were with 3 women and felt very safe; Filemon and his men were very well taking care of us. So: if you want tot make a trip with Walking Stick Travel Safaris don't hesitate, just do it!

Correct organisation of the trip. We were lucky to have a very good guide: Paul Kanyambo.
5/5

Not withstanding your pleasant organisation, Dutch people prefer in general to go with Dutch organisations because of the close contact in their own language and their unfamiliarity with Tanzanian touroperations.
As you know we travelled several times with Antelope Safaris and our experiances always were very good!

Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable - Michelle's passion for game viewing is infectious
5/5

Our first safari experience was organised by the friendly Michelle Astbury - three nights at Naledi Bushcamp in Balule Nature Reserve.

While we were organising our safari two impressive aspects of Michelle's service stuck out - Firstly, Michelle's recognition that my partner and I liked to communicate over the phone rather than over email. Even though there is an 8 hour time difference between Cape Town and Melbourne, Michelle re-arranged her commitments in order to be able to call us multiple times when it was convenient for us, and at short notice. Because of her willingness, we were able gain huge insights into what sort of experiences were available to us, and fast-track our planning. We really felt Michelle shared our enthusiasm for planning our trip of a lifetime, and related to our position as first time safari goers well. Her passion for game viewing is infectious. Secondly, even though Michelle had plenty of recommendations, she never pushed a certain transfer company/lodge on us, and would willingly take on board suggestions for lodges/flights/transfers etc we had found ourselves and incorporated these into our short list of itineraries. Her email communication was frequent, friendly and clear- and continued in this vein after we had paid in full.

The accommodation that Michelle organised for us was in a beautiful setting overlooking the Olifants River with an abundance of game around even just the lodge itself, and had warm welcoming South African staff throughout. The transfers were reliable, comfortable, and safe.

Don't hesitate to reach out to Michelle or Sun Safaris if you are planning a trip to Africa - even if you just want to throw some ideas around and get a feel for your options. Thanks again Michelle :)

Well organised and executed safari trip
5/5

We travelled from Kampala to Kigal, Rwanda via Queen Elizabeth national park, lake Bunyonyi and gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenatrable national park. We were a group of 4 24/25 year old males.

Kombi did a fantastic job and exceeded all of our expectations and indeed we would be hard pressed to find anything that disappointed us about the trip. It was well organised from the initial contact and tailoring of the tour through to the execution of the trip. Our tour guide was great and a real asset to the team - he calmly helped us through our travels and ensured that we made the most of it all.

All in all - an excellent experience thanks to Kombi. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.

adventure wonderland. everything was customed planned for me, especially sketching
5/5

everything went so smoothly, drivers, flights, services. i was always looked after royally and never left along. the accommodations were super. they were very comfortable and the staff always were friendly, helpful and entertaining. we had impromptu african singing, and little shows plus a birthday party under a full moon starlit sky. it was all breathtaking. what i was amazed at were the birds on the chobe river- so many
each and every day was an unexpected delight. you never knew what the day would bring. we even had night safaris. the whole planned trip was wonderful, varied, and efficient. i even got wheelchair support at jberg airport due to great communication from the victoria fallls end.

A skilled, flexible, affordable, and experienced tour operator who cares about their clients.
5/5

My wife and I researched and shopped around a ton before finally deciding to use MSafiri for our 2-1/2 week trip to Tanzania. We choose them because they were responsive, competitively priced, and worked to meet some of the more unique requests we had for our trip.

From the time we arrived in Dar es Salaam to our flight back home they took amazing care of us. We were invited to meet Leina’s family our first night in town and sample Chef David’s traditional Tanzania food we’d be eating during our Safari. From there we headed out on a whirlwind tour of Southern and Northern Tanzania. In the first park (Selous) alone we saw crocodiles, hippos, hyenas, giraffes, lions, and a small troop of elephants. Each park offered a new collection of animals to spot, photograph, and enjoy.
- A troupe of Hippos sun bathing on the river bank
- Leopards eating a Gazelle they’d dragged up a tree
- A mother Cheetah feeding her two young cubs
- Hundreds of Buffalo and Zebra littering the countryside
- Lions camped out on a ledge overlooking the Serengeti
- Two Giraffe fighting by swinging their necks at each other
- Several hundred Wildebeest crossing the Mara river
- A lone Rhino trampling through Ngorongoro Crater

We owe all of that and more to our drivers/guides Yunis and Charles. I’m pretty competitive and tried to out spot them the entire trip, but didn’t get anywhere close. They were really flexible in when we left, how long we were out, and where we went within the parks. Meanwhile Chef David made sure we had plenty of great food to keep us going. If we wouldn’t make it back for lunch he’d prepare delicious pack lunches and have them ready for us in the morning, even when we left at 6 am.

I’ll just close with saying that we cannot recommend MSafiri enough if you’re planning a safari to Southeastern Africa. From hiring skilled guides/drivers/chefs, to their customer centric focus, they made our safari better than anything we thought we’d receive. Leina will take excellent care of you and make sure your safari is one you’ll never forget, I guarantee it.
