Smith is the best
5/5

Smith was an incredible tour guide - traveling with him made everything easy.

Everything I wanted to do we did - no questions and no complaints.

Working with Lulu and Smith was the best decision I could have made

Thank you so much Yaya for showing us such an incredible time. We loved visiting Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti and Lake Natron. You spotted so many incredible animals for us. We'd recommend your service to anyone doing a safari in Tanzania.

Awesome Safari Trip from planning to the very end
5/5

I had contacted many safari companies for our 10 days private Kenya Safari Trip and finally chose Explorers Wild Adventures based on their quick response, good price and very good reviews from the past customers. Johann answered all my questions honestly and gave clear instructions about money transfer from US. We upgraded to 4x4 and it was very comfortable even during long rides. We chose mid range hotels. They were mostly Sentrim chain hotels and were all pretty good. Our driver/guide David showed up on time to pick us up at our Nairobi AirBnB. He was punctual every day, clearly communicated every day program, had a great positive attitude and was eager to share his knowledge about animals and Kenya. We learnt so much about animal behavior, Kenyan politics and culture from him. Of the 2 optional tours that we did, Masai village tour was good but the lake Naivasha boat ride and nature walk was too expensive at $60 pp. We could have totally skipped it as we saw multiple hippos, giraffes, zebras in very close range with in our hotel (Lake Naivasha Country Club) that night.

Over all I highly recommend Explorers Wild Adventures. They are professional, work well together, did not mess up any reservations and really strive to earn and keep your business. You will be very pleased if you book with them.

Extremely knowledgeable and resourceful

Both Paul and Evan were amazing guides! They were always on time and always had an answer to our questions. They knew the Mara like the back of their hands and made sure we had a great experience seeing all the animals. Highly recommend!

Our two week personalised safari in Kenya and Tanzania exceeded our expectations, highly recommended
5/5

I decided to book my safari direct with The Destination Consultants who are based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Niko and Susan arranged our personalised, bespoke trip.
Before and after booking, I communicated lots of questions and Niko always replied promptly and provided excellent advice for planning and preparing our trip.
on 4th January 2025 we arrived into Nairobi airport from Heathrow and, on arrival, we were met by one of Niko's team of drivers who took us to a lovely hotel in Nairobi where we spent our first night.
The next morning we were collected from our hotel, as arranged, by our Kenyan driver Ellioud in a well equipped safari vehicle and our adventure began. (the vehicle had power sockets for charging your phone, a cool box full of water bottles for our trip and binoculars and had plenty of space for luggage)
We first visited Ol Pejeta, where we stayed at the beautiful Sweetwaters tented camp and where we saw three southern white rhino walking past the camp within an hour of our arrival!
Our game drives here were outstanding, seeing many stunning sights and at the end of the first day meeting a tame black rhino called Barracka (holiday highlight) after this we moved on and stayed in a fabulous lodge on the shores Lake Navaisha and then on to a beautiful tented camp in the Masi Mara where we spent three nights with several memorable game drives where we saw and experienced so many amazing things, spotting cheetah, lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffe, hippos, crocodiles and all manner of birdlife - we just loved every special minute of our personalised safari.
Our driver Ellioud was such a lovely kind man, and amazing at spotting animals (20 years of experience helps I'm sure).
After the Mara, we were driven to the Tanzanian border and met our Tanzanian driver Raymond, we got our visas very simply and easily at the border and then Raymond took us on to a luxury tented camp in the Serengeti where we were to spend the next two nights - we had a beautiful time at the camp which was open, without fencing, to the Serengeti - on our first night a herd of elephants walked through in front of our tent! Amazing experience! During our three days in the Serengeti we saw all of the above mentioned animals and additionally saw a leopard in a tree with it's warthog kill and a mother and son cheetah tracking and eventually chasing a grants gazelle which they caught and killed (breathtaking and jaw dropping experience of wild animals in their natural habitat doing what they do) and our first sightings of wilder beast in large numbers.
After the Serengeti we went onto another lovely lodge for two nights and visited the outstanding UNESCO world heritage site The Ngorongoro Crater NP - here we saw so many amazing sights including a Wilder Beast being born, there were lots of babies and many expectant female animals - it's that time of year in Tanzania.
Following this we drove to a border with Kenya and said goodbye to our lovely cheerful, kind and highly experienced driver Raymond and passed back into Kenya where our lovely driver Ellioud was waiting to collect us.
We journeyed to Amboseli passing Mount Kilimanjaro (wow!) on the way and ended our trip at a Serena lodge set within Amboseli NP - this was a beautiful place to end the trip and we loved it here.
On our game drives here we saw so many elephants in different groupings, Amboseli is a great place for specifically seeing elephants! and this finished off our safari adventure perfectly.
Ellioud returned us back to Nairobi airport in perfect timing for our homeward flight and Niko and Susan made contact with us at the beginning, during and at the end of our trip to ensure we were happy and that everything was running smoothly.
Faultless attention to detail, planning, service, reliability and the perfectly planned tour.
We also recommend taking this trip outside of the main season, it's quieter and you have so much of the unique experience just to yourself on a private safari which is undoubtedly a better experience for you and for the animals you are viewing.
We highly recommend The Destination Consultants, we will be travelling to East Africa again in the future and we wouldn't choose anyone else! We found both Kenya and Tanzania very safe and everyone we met was lovely, courteous and kind from start to finish.

It was a wonderful trip that we will never forget.
5/5

The 6-day 5-night safari trip was well arranged. The service and facilities of the hotel for 3 days were satisfactory, and the accommodation conditions of the tents on the grassland for 2 days were also good. There was hot water for showering. The hotel provided two bottles of drinking water per person for brushing teeth or drinking. The breakfast and dinner were well matched and delicious. The driver and guide for 6 days were very considerate and took our needs into consideration.

Our safari in Tanzania was a journey of discovery and which will be in memory forever
5/5

Our safari was the perfect blend of adventure and safety. Our guide Tom was well trained, and the company adhered to all safety protocols, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without worry. Beyond the wildlife, Williamson Adventures included visits to local Tanzanian communities, offering a rich cultural experience. We appreciated the opportunity to learn about and engage with local traditions. Memorable cultural experiences with Williamson team.

He's such an humble, well informed guide. His patience in the field is exemplary! Duncan is the best
5/5

I have always dreamt of visiting the wild especially this year but I wasn't expecting it to be easier since it's in the month of January. but to my surprise a friend recommended to me Bonafrika Tours & Safaris which offered customised affordable packages and really never will I regret choosing them. The guide Mr. Duncan picked me up and my family on time from our hotel and we had the best experience of our time at Nairobi national park ! Duncan was so versed with where and when to see the lions, Giraffes, Rhinos and so many different kinds of wildlife. He took his time to allow us take enough videos and at a good range and explained to us about their habitants. I will recommend Bonafrika Tours and safaris anytime for their flexible packages, convenience and best guide ever, Mr. Duncan Paul. Thank you so much for the lovely time

Best in the game!
5/5

What an amazing experience with Suricata safaris! The safari was very well-organised and led by such a knowledgable guide (Lewis). He had a 6th sense for nature and the wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw so many wonderful different wild animals (including lions, rhinos and cheetahs). Also, there was a great selection of accommodation with my personal favourite being Suricata Boma Lodge. I would highly recommend Suricata Safaris to anyone looking to book.
