Great Adventure, Great Guide
Our trip with Amshar, and specifically Aloyce was incredible. The company was very easy to work with and adjust to our schedule before arrival. Our guide, Aloyce was hillarious, with an infectious laugh while also being knowledgeable about the area and animals. We saw and experienced more than we dreamed we would and I think Aloyce's expertise played a part. We also really enjoyed coming in the off-season (January) for the cooler temps and smaller crowds.

My safari dream came true
We spent a very satisfying 5 day safari in mid Serengeti, Ndutu and Ngorongoro in late January.
When I was doing the initial sorting out, Eric impressed me with quick response, and paying much attention to my need. The breakdown cost of this company was very detailed and clear which helped me to understand what I would pay for this trip, while most other companies I contacted just provided a general cost.
We are lucky to have Alfred as our guide. He is an expert on the flora and fauna in Eastern Africa, and also a very good driver. He always could point out a distant animal or a bird when I couldn't spot anything there. With his guide, I recorded 57 species of animals and birds in our game drive, most of which I never saw or heard before.

The food was fantastic, and after each thrilling day of safari, we had a peaceful place to unwind and reflect on everything we saw. The whole experience was authentic and the perfect mix of adventure, nature, and relaxation.

Our 2-week trip through Kenya and Tanzania, ending in Zanzibar, was designed and curated by Hugo. Hugo was always responsive and answered all our questions without any problems. Our 5 nights in Kenya were amazing, with the highlight being our 3 nights in the Maasai Mara with our guide and the Maasai people. A dream come true! In Tanzania, our guide Omary was really the best! He was always professional, polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was completely focused on meeting all our expectations, which he did. The Soul of Tanzania really brought our dreams to life and gave us many memories that we will cherish forever!

Wonderful experience
We did the 7 days safari and waterfalls and couldn’t have been better.
Our guide, Mayunga, was excellent. He was very patience and informed, thanks to him we could see a lot of animals, including the great migration!
The accommodation was fine and the food was really delicious. Also, we had water, sodas, wine and beer available everyday. We had everything we need.
Everyone was really nice and kind, I would definitely recommend this experience and hopefully some day we’ll repeat it :)

Very communicative, efficient and well organized.
Danford's planning and scheduling of our safari was absolutely convenient. He catered for the local transfers and costs, and his kind and explorative demeanor made the trip more relaxing. We got to try the local delicacy - the Azam ukwaju ice cream which offered much relief for a hot day. I highly recommend Paws and Claws Safaris.

Reliable, inexpensive and still a great survice!
I booked a 3-day safari tour in Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater with this operator. From the communication to the payment, everything went really well. I hadn’t had one problem during the tour and they picked me up at my hostel and brought me back with all my luggage after the tour. We had a well educated tour guide who did a great job and except for leopards which are hard to spot we were able to see the big five, serval cats, cheetah and many more animals! All in all I can highly recommend this operator!
