So well organised. Amazing staff , great food , unbelievable safari experience
5/5

Had been on a safari in South Africa several years ago with another tour company. Everything was organised perfectly from pick ups , flights , food and even when one of our lodges was flooded due to rain 6 weeks prior to our arrival , African Ubuntu Safaris stood up and arranged alternative camping accommodation which was just unbelievable. So much better than our expectations. Our tour guide was friendly , knowledgeable and the wild game we got to see will forever be remembered by all of us on the safari. The camp staff were simply amazing and the food they prepared was just delicious. One of the great holidays ever!

About: Namibia
The safari in Namibia is absolute one of the best choices in Africa!
Overall rating
5/5

I attended 10-day camping safari conducted by Wild Dog Safari with my husband in the middle of April 2017, which was just before the peak season. Weather was generally good, good sunshine in daytime and a bit cooler in evening. So good for tourist as we just needed light clothes(short sleeves with light jacket).
What I impressed firstly was the special safari truck which is remodelled the 4t truck for camping use. All camping equipment such as tents, cooking equipment, tables & chairs are well packed. Basically the camping life is to look around safari or sightseeing spots by the truck, park camping site, put tents, spend overnight, shut down tents, then move to another location. It was a bit busy, but we could have short rests during driving in the truck, which is one of the advantages to join such a group tour.
As for transportation, Namibia's main roads are mostly asphalt paved (though we passed some rattled roads), it was quite OK even for senior people, over 60 years old. Every two hours, we had a short break for washroom. If there are no proper facilities, we sometimes used bush washroom :)
During these 10 days, we visited the most of major spots. Namibia, not like other African countries, has varieties of beautiful sceneries such as desert, coast, rocky mountain and bush. Especially I was so impressed by the beauty of Namib desert, its colour and scale. We had also some joyful activities. Quad bike and Camel riding in Namib desert, chatting and playing with Himba tribe children and women.
In the middle of 10 days, we lodged at the hotel for 2 nights, that gave us a break to sleep in bed, time for washing clothes and eating in restaurants as all meals during camping are cooked by the camping staff. It was also good for the camping staff to have a rest to survive the rest of camping days.
Our tour main guide and the assistant were wonderful and friendly. All the time, they gave us the sufficient information and lovely chatting. For me or may all tourists, they are almost representative of Namibian as there was less opportunities to talk with local people during the camping tour. It was also benefit to have interactions with the camping tour mates from different countries, then expand network around the world.

Born Free did an exceptional job. From beginning to end the service was above and beyond. Alana and her team listened to our wants and needs and delivered on all counts. She used her expertise to steer us to locations and properties that fit our needs and provided an optimal safari experience for the time of year. what an amazing experience. Our guides and contacts were knowledgeable, friendly, professional and detail oriented. From Mary and Benson in Kenya to Justin, Fabian and Moses in Tanzania we could not have been in better hands.

Excellent service and splendid treatment
5/5

From the moment our contact started, before I traveled to Kenya, the employees were a pleasure to work with. They were attentive to my needs and requests. They were also flexible, responsive and worked to the best of my interest. To say I enjoyed my Stay and tour of the safari is an understatement. The tour guides were also quite knowledgeable and made sure that my tour around the safari was nothing short of incredible. My expectations were met and exceeded.! I would definitely recommend that you consider Sana adventures and safaris for your next trip to Kenya.!

Great Value & Friendly
5/5

Our tour guide stayed with us the whole time and was always looking out for us while going above and beyond for our family with three young children. Very trustworthy. He had made sure it was a good experience for us while answering all of our questions. Accommodations and food was basic but very appropriate for Kenya since we were here for the safari and to see the animals. Would recommend the company.

An amazing safari to Kenya and Tanzania to remember.
5/5

Classic Journeys Africa provided us excellent service. Everything was arranged for us from the beginning to the end without any worries. We had the best driver/guides (Geoffrey in Kenya and Camelus/Water in Tanzania) you could ask for. They were always considerate of us especially travelling with two seniors. Their driving skills and knowledge were excellent too. They always tried their best to give us the best advantage for viewing and photos during the safaris. Their vehicles were always spotless. We absolutely loved this trip and it definitely met our expectations and more. Classic Journeys did a wonderful job In making our trip so memorable.

We had an amazing time on the safari.
5/5

I booked car hire with a driver. I emailed with Sander about the possibilities for the trip and he advised me very well. Our driver on the trip was Paul. I told Paul I wanted cheap accommodation and he looked for that for us. He knows his way arround Uganda. And he could tell us a lot about the areas and animals.

I have to say that I had a small problem when I had to receive my itinerary and flight tickets but besides this, it was a fantastic experience. Everything was perfect! Beautiful place, the staff were very friendly, and the safari guide was the best I've ever met!

Sharp guide, excellent safari experience!
5/5

We did a 5-day safari with Gideon: 4 days in Serengeti and 1 day at Ngorongoro. It was organised at a good pace, and we did not feel rushed for time throughout our safari. Gideon is really good at finding animals and often spots them before others - also handy as they tend to run away when too many cars crowd around! He knows the place well and brought us to find the wildebeest migration in the western corridor on one of our days. Definitely worth paying for a really good guide like Gideon!

His car is well-equipped and comfortable for long days out and game drives - has wifi, you can charge your batteries in his car (English plug-point), and has a fridge too! He provided a crate of beer for our trip which was very welcome at the end of our long days! He provided us with a few books on the kinds of animals/birds you find during the game drives - for anyone interested in knowing more about the environment around!

He's very happy to be flexible about plans - so just speak to him if you have any particular plans/ concerns. Would definitely recommend!
