Unforgettable Trip
The safari trip was an absolutely unforgettable tour. We’ve seen everything that we could ask for. Even the great migration and a rhino. I’d totally recommend booking 7 days in order to get so see all the animals that you want. Our driver, Lobulo, and our chef, Buga, were just the funniest and we had the time of our lives laughing with them. We also got heaps of information about the parks and the animals and learned a lot. All the people in the camp really try to make you feel at home and help you out any time. Personally, we loved the camp sites in the wilderness as it was a very authentic and extraordinary way of connecting with the park and nature.
We even lost our luggage a few days before we made the safari and they flew it into Serengeti National Park and drove it to our campsite eventhough it was quite remote.
According to my research thats the best value for your money if your looking for a budget safari and are only interested in the animals and not so much in staying in fancy lodges.
The communication was always very easy and reliable.

Me and my two friends travelled to Tanzania in July 2025 and decided to do a Safari. After internet research we booked our 7 days group-camping safari with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris. The organisation before the start of the safari was super easy and our sales man Jerome was very kind.
We enjoyed our safari so much and it was a unforgetable trip. We went to different national parks (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti) and it was stunning.
At the beginning we had a few teething problems because our luggage got lost at the airport. As our trip started with the safari, it was very inconvenient that we had no luggage as we didn't have all our essentials with us. Meru Slopes helped us a lot and arranged for us to be picked up at the airport. Our luggage was even taken to the Serengeti National Park, for which we were very grateful.
We always felt safe and in good hands with our driver Lobulo. He not only drove us through the various national parks, but also always gave us good background information about the animals/the parks and answered all our questions.
During our safari we were always very well provided with food and drink. Our cook Buga was the best! We had a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Drinks were always sufficiently available and could be taken independently.
All in all, we were very satisfied with our safari, the organization and the process. We can highly recommend Meru Slopes.

My husband and I fully believe that African Big Cats Safari is undoubtedly the best safari company in the business! From start to finish, we are actually able to say that working with them was perfect. We researched many safari companies and have been confident with our choice the whole time. We chose the 9 Day Incredible Safari + Cultural Experience with the addition of the Hot Air Balloon Safari and coffee experience and it was perfect! He was polite, respectful, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to be with for 9 days straight. We also met Emmanuel, the managing director, who was equally professional and kind. He checked in with us at the beginning and end of the safari, which stood out to us greatly. So many little touches this company provides lends to the personalized experience. My husband and I plan to return to Tanzania and we will absolutely be using African Big Cats Safaris!

Beyond the big cats, we witnessed formidable crocodiles basking by the water's edge, caught a thrilling glimpse of a elusive leopard, and were constantly surrounded by tens of elephants, their majestic presence a constant reminder of the wild. Every game drive was packed with thrilling discoveries, expertly guided to ensure we maximized our viewing opportunities.

A special mention, indeed, must go to our main guide, Percy. He wasn't just a driver; he was a master of his craft, a true expert in the field. His fantastic driving skills navigated challenging terrain with ease and confidence, always ensuring our safety and comfort. But it was his tracking ability that truly shone. Leroy (our guide) in Kenya was incredible!
We did a tour through Kenya with Super Eagles and had Leroy as our guide - he was incredible! We could not recommend him enough. He was a fast driver, knew where to go to be able to see the animals we wanted in the parks, but was also very informative about the animals and areas. We would highly recommend using Super Eagles for a Kenya tour.

Gosheni's Tanzania Odyssey Safari is amazing!
We booked a Safari that included Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti. The variety and volume of wildlife we saw was amazing. Our guide Zadock was very informative about all of the animals as well as the Tanzanian and Maasai culture. He ensured we saw all the wildlife and found the best places for photos. We saw 3 Wildebeast river crossings in the northern Serengeti. I would recommend Gosheni and Zadock for your Safari adventure in Tanzania.

Great Tour! Mix of tourist spots and local spots.
Tinyiko was a great tour guide who was always energetic and full of life.
He showed me the historical part and also the local part of South Africa which was really great.
Ate lunch (cowhead) at a very local place in Soweto and it was great to mingle with the locals.
That was probably one of the most memorable part of my travel to South Afric.
Also Tinyuko was flexible and customised some of the places we want.
I would definitely reccomend this tour and if your lucky might get Tinyiko.

Unforgettable Adventure in Tanzania's Northern Circuit
Safari-ing with Amshar was a fantastic experience. From the outset, the Amshar representatives were easy to work with and crafted a safari that accommodated our schedule. Even as we experienced a transportation hiccup en route to Arusha, they were extraordinarily flexible in adjusting the schedule so that the safari could proceed as planned. Once, on our way, Edward, our guide, took us on an unforgettable Northern Tanzanian adventure. We learned so much from him about the area's wildlife, but also about Tanzania itself--its political economy, culture(s), food, challenges, and more. We were fortunate to have Edward as our guide, as he was not only an expert driver and navigator of Tanzania's national parks but also exuded a warm energy throughout the entire tour. We will undoubtedly be using Amshar again for our next East African Adventure.
