Unforgettable Family Safari with Captain Barnaba Travel & Safari
5/5

We had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. This was our first time going on safari, and it couldn’t have gone better. We found Captain Barnaba Travel & Safari online, and Captain Barnaba himself was incredibly responsive and helpful in arranging everything for us.

We went on a private 2-days safari to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater with our two children (aged 7 and 10). The tour was perfectly tailored to our family’s needs and requests. From the moment we were picked up by a driver in Zanzibar and taken to the airport, everything was seamlessly organized. When we landed, we were warmly welcomed by two guides who took us directly to Tarangire.

What truly made this safari unforgettable were our guides, Tango and Elias. They were not only extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts in Tanzania, but also incredibly warm, respectful, and thoughtful people. Their calm presence, insightful stories, and deep cultural knowledge really brought the entire experience to life.

We explored the breathtaking landscapes of both Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Each park had its own unique charm, and the memories we made will stay with us forever. Our guides had an amazing ability to spot animals from great distances, and they were also incredibly patient and attentive with our children.

We saw every animal we had hoped for – lions, elephants, cape buffalo, giraffes, zebras, hippos – and many more! One of the most unforgettable moments was witnessing a lion take down a buffalo and begin to eat – an intense and rare sight.

Our safari with Captain Barnaba Travel & Safari gave us memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Everything we hoped for was fulfilled – and even exceeded. We give our highest recommendation to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania.

The company is awesome, responsive (the most one within 10+ companies I’ve quoted).
5/5

Geeman is our tour guide, he is probably the most outgoing and friendly guide in Masa Maira. He almost knows everyone which is really important as when you need information of where the animals are, that helps! When you car gets stuck in the mud, that helps! Really appreciate Geeman’s professionalism, we found all the animals successfully!

Safari tour with Godson -An Amazing experience 😊
5/5

The safari experience with Godson was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We spent four days with him and with Thomassipo on safari in Tanzania, and there are no words to describe how amazing it was. Godson answered all the questions we asked him before we arrived and helped us plan all our days in Tanzania in the most supportive and wonderful way. He stayed in close contact with us until our arrival in Tanzania, picked us up together with Thomassipo, and provided us with water for all the days. From there, we headed to our first destination and saw the incredible animals up close, to the point that they were walking right beside us the whole time.
Godson and Thomassipo accompanied us and explained everything about the animals and the lives of the locals. Thanks to them, we learned and experienced things we could only have had with them. Our entire stay on safari was amazing, and there is nothing we recommend more than experiencing a safari in Tanzania with Godson, just like we did—because we are sure he won’t disappoint and will give you the best experience possible!!

Safari experience was truly unforgettable
5/5

I just returned from the 5-day Great Migration Safari through Tarangire, the Northern Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, and it was an unforgettable experience!

The entire trip was well-organized, with each day offering a new highlight — from watching herds of elephants in Tarangire to witnessing the breathtaking wildebeest migration in the Serengeti, and finally descending into the Ngorongoro Crater to spot the Big Five.

Special thanks to our guide, who was both highly professional and incredibly patient. His deep knowledge of the parks, wildlife behavior, and the local environment made every game drive meaningful. He always went above and beyond to ensure we had the best vantage points, answered all our questions, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey.

This safari exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend this itinerary to anyone seeking an authentic and well-guided African adventure.

Great experience!
5/5

We did the safari as a group of 7 and enjoyed it a lot! As for the value for money it's an absolute 10/10 especially compared to other providers. Communication was easy and very reliable. Would absolutely recommend and do it again.

3 Days Murchison Safaris ( The best of All)
5/5

I got an intrest in visiting Murchison Falls National Park and a friend of mine recommended me to Nextgen Safaris. They helped me plan a short trip and all my intrests were carted for. The communication was smooth and I enjoy my safari. The lodge I was staying in was amazing, Nile Safari lodge which is a luxury lodge in the park. My Guide Muwa was fantastic and I can’t forget how he sighted a lion and a leopard at different time intervals. I highly recommend Nextgen safaris for Uganda safaris.

Perfect safari with Dashi from Suricata Safaris!
5/5

Our safari exceeded our wildest dreams. We had been looking forward to a safari in Tanzania for years. Even so, our experience was more than we possibly could have imagined. We saw the Great Migration, a pride of lions stalk and chase a zebra, all the Big Five, and dozens of cute and beautiful birds and mammals. Our guide and driver, Dashi, was fantastic in every way. He was friendly, sweet, funny, informative, kind, a great driver, and knew exactly where and when to go in every park we visited. Dashi is truly a special person, and I doubt there are many other guides that could live up to the standard he has set. We have already told the rest of our family to book a Suricata safari - with Dashi! - soon!

Very dependable, extremely good at communicating and providing clear sense of what to expect.
5/5

We were very happy with this tour. We went on a combo tour to Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Center and the Elephant Orphanage with a break for lunch. Having done many safaris over the years in the major parks of East Africa, we were skeptical and had low expectations of an urban park like Nairobi National. We were very pleasantly surprised -- we saw more rhinos on that morning than we have ever done on a single trip at any other national park. We saw a few pairs of lions and of course, all the usual -- giraffes, zebras, hippos, various gazelles, ostriches. Remember -- no elephants in the park. It is supposedly too small for wild elephants (which makes us shudder about how they manage to survive in captivity in zoos). In any case, a wonderful experience that we would recommend to others short on time (which we were).
