On a friends recommendation my wife and myself chose Shadows for our three day safari to Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Very helpful advice from Victor and Natasha. Our guide for the trip Mussa was a wealth of knowledge, and having twelve years experience he knew the parks and animals behaviours very well. On our trip, at the end of the wet season when the grasses and vegetation are lush, we did not see leopards, but thanks to Mussa we saw every animal and bird we hoped to see including two black rhino! When our camera charger was damaged during the journey to Dar Mussa made sure it was not a problem, he looked after us wonderfully.
We were collected from Arusha bus station, Victor and Mussa helped us buy our tickets for the return trip to Dar. Our over night stay at a hotel McElly's was comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The Country Lodge at Karatu were we stayed after each day, lived up to its name. Lovely gardens, great showers with hot water and good food. Phoebe and the rest of the staff were also extremely friendly and very attentive.
As to the safaris themselves it's difficult to choose a favourite place. Each one was wonderful in its own way and more than lived up to our expectations. You will not be disappointed! Regarding cost it was probably mid price range, we felt the quality of accommodation and care we received was excellent.

Everything about trip was absolutely amazing, I wouldn't change anything.
As I said above I would not change anything, I had a wonderful time and would recommend Amazing Tanzania to anyone wanting to go on a safari.

4 Day Safari through Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
My partner and I were very lucky to have had such a wonderful and memorable experience with Avocet, despite some passengers who did not bring an appropriate level of courtesy and respect for the experience.
Our driver and chef made for a really great experience - they were friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to answer questions about the things we saw or would expect to see.

An Amazing Ugandan-Rwandan Experience!
Truly one of the most incredible and memorable experiences of my young life. I don't think I would have enjoyed as much as I and my classmates did without this team of wonderful guides. Derrick and Gaddafi are both truly highly-skilled in their field, sharing as much knowledge as they could about Uganda and Rwanda. When things went slightly awry, they both knew exactly what to do and how to handle it without denting our schedule as much. The only downside was that the trip was only for four days!

Pembury Tours and their representative, Laurette McKinnon, created an unforgettable Southern Africa vacation for us! From the moment we were contacted by Laurette McKinnon the service was nothing short of excellent. She was friendly, professional and very helpful. She made great recommendations for our vacation and promptly answered our many questions both before and during our trip. The safari part of our trip was at Arathusa Safari Lodge in Sabi Sand Reserve. Arathusa was a wonderful place for our safari. The staff, service, accommodation, food and game drives were way beyond our expectations! We saw the Big Five many times along with other animals, including wild dogs and countless bird species. Thank you Laurette for recommending Arathusa. The other parts of our trip, Cape Town and Victoria Falls, were also just as enjoyable. The information, recommendations and choices supplied to us by Pembury Tours was very clearly presented and made it easy for us to decide exactly what we wanted. The entire itinerary went like clockwork. All our transfers, guides were on time and friendly. The vehicles were all very good. The accommodations were all as described they would be, all were wonderful. We had a vacation we will never forget thanks to Pembury Tours and in particular Laurette McKinnon. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a trip (safari) to Southern Africa.

Rather good experience of a safari with Adventure Vacation safaris
Overall good experience. The administration before our arrival in Uganda was especially good, our contact being really available and helpful.
Our guide was really well aware of fauna and flora in Uganda, and gave us a lot of insight during all of our trip. He was also a really good driver.
The lodges and guest houses chosen for us were great (perfect service, clean and beautiful), with a slight exception for the airport guest house, which needs renewal.
We had a lot of problems with the dollars we brought, there were under 2003 and not accepted in Uganda, which was never told to us before our departure. Make sure to warn peole arriving from the outside to avoid problems with payment.
The vehicle for the safari was changed without notice the day of our arrival, which was not great, and there was nothing much we could do about it.
We booked a tailored safari for 2, a couple; when we had to do boat cruises with large family groups, that was a bit annoying.
But we definitely had a great time.

Quest Horizon fulfilled our expectations and much more!
This was a trip of a lifetime and Quest Horizon certainly made it just that! They really made sure all our requests were met and nothing was too much trouble. As a local company, they were able to ensure our comfort and we had the vehicle to ourselves. On a full day's game drive that meant we had space to move around with plenty of room for our bags, cameras etc - and we got the best, unrestricted views of the wonderful scenery and of course the animals. The places we stayed in recommended by Quest were wonderful, also better than expected. Our guide Kisali was amazing. His knowledge of the country's history, the geography and the animals was very extensive and his animal spotting was second to none! We saw so much more than we hoped because of him and he was a pleasure and fun to be with - a lovely man! I have many happy memories of this wonderful trip and would definitely recommend Quest Horizon to anyone considering a similar adventure. Couldn't ask for more - Quest is Best!! Asante sana!

seen a lot of animals
It was a great experience. Communication was easy and organisation very comfortable. Jakob the guide did his best to find a lot of animals. Though the bus was a bit old, and the road to Masai Mara is long and difficult.
