We had an incredible experience, Tanzania is the heart of Africa and we were able to feel it. Being able to witness animals in their natural habitat and seeing the way of living of different villages so up close was wonderful. The people are open and welcoming. Our guide, Steven, explained us everything we had to know and we are really thankful that we had the chance to meet him.

Flawless execution, advice and all with a personal touch
We met S-J and her sister whilst on a Safari in 2022 at whilst they were on a site visit to a lodge (Simbavati Hilltop) we were staying at. They are soo well informed about the market, the options available, recent updates and that local touch that we knew we would only book through them for our next trip.
For our honeymoon in Jan 2025, we reached out to S-J and she helped us curate the most wonderful trip to Cape Town and the Winelands. She gave great restaurant recommendations, organised transfers and worked with the hotels (Leeu House and Babylonstoren) to make sure we were had a welcoming and great stay. She also helped us arrange guides for two day tours - Half day Cape Peninsula tour and a guide for our Table mountain. S-J always kept in touch to make sure every thing she arranged was going to plan.
Both my husband and I could not recommend S-J and the team at JourneyTo more highly and would use them for any future travel.

Owner maintained communication for months. I had several rounds of date and departure changes that he always accommodated i was able to express preferences and allow his expertise to take over. i had a medical issue and they were able to get a doctor to come in after hours on a Sunday evening. The vehicle was good . But they are connected to get mechanical attention as well.
Ask for Innocent. The driver’s skill is NOT to be underestimated or taken for granted. These are treacherous roads that he handled adeptly. He’s always in good spirits and ready to talk as much or little as you want.

Great experience from start to finish with Tanzania Choice Safaris
Based on a friend’s recommendation, we booked a week of game drives in the Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti National Park with Tanzania Choice. I cannot say enough good things about our experience! Brenda did a fabulous job organizing our adventure - she was responsive to all our questions, offered valuable insights, and managed our somewhat complicated travel plan with ease. We loved the written guidance she provided about how to prepare for and what to expect from our safari. The lodgings she selected for us were great, and the food everywhere was much, much better than I expected. I felt like we got great value for our money! Transportation from our hotel in Dodoma (where we were engaged in non-Safari activities) to Karatu for our first game drive was seamless, and we enjoyed the ride with Kakasii. Our driver for the week was Leslie, and he was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the animals we encountered, had a great sense of humor, and was adept at finding perfect viewing locations for us even when a particular spot was overrun with cars. We saw all of the big 5 plus incredible wildlife encounters (a cheetah chasing down a gazelle). If I could give a 100-star rating for Tanzania Choice Safaris, I would!

The best one!
First of all, we want to thank Imelda, who fulfilled our every wish: together, we chose the parks to visit, the hotels, and everything else based on our budget. She was always understanding and willing to accommodate us. We stayed at the Penety Resort Amboseli, where the food is excellent and the rooms are very clean (we knew it was about 40 minutes from the park entrance). Then we stayed at the Lake Nakuru Lodge, a wonderful resort inside the park. And finally, the Mara Big Five Tent, an experience in a tented camp inside the Maasai Mara (with a private bathroom), again, everything was perfect. Our guide was Patrick, a very kind guy, always smiling and who put up with us for five days. Thanks to him, we saw four out of five Big Five. Everything was perfect, so thank you so much.
P.S. For those reading this review who are coming to Kenya, there are many people in need (both children and adults), even right outside the resorts. Bring along shoes for children and adults, clothes, medicine, notebooks, and pencils; they need them so much, and you'll make them happy. Thanks to Patrick, we've stopped at multiple locations to help as many people as possible.
