Excellent guide—responsive, knowledgeable, well-organized, and great value for money!
5/5

We had an amazing experience! From the very beginning, communication was excellent — he was extremely responsive via WhatsApp and patiently answered every question we had, no matter how small.

The trip was very well-organized and thoughtfully planned. Despite offering a great price, he still managed to book us in beautiful lodges, bungalows, and hotels that exceeded our expectations. The vehicle was in excellent condition, comfortable and well-equipped for the safari.

During the safari, he shared detailed explanations and insights about the animals and the environment, which really added depth to the experience. His guidance and knowledge made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. We were provided with everything we needed throughout the trip — nothing was missing.

Overall, we were incredibly happy with the service and felt it was great value for money. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking Experience with Expedition Rwindi
5/5

Our gorilla tour with Expedition Rwindi was absolutely unforgettable. We were lucky to have Barack and Laban as our tour operators and drivers — both incredibly professional, attentive, and warm. They made sure every part of the journey was smooth, safe, and deeply enriching.

The highlight of the trip, of course, was the gorilla trek itself. We spent 75 magical minutes with a family of nine gorillas, including three silverbacks and two playful youngsters. Watching them eat, interact, and play in their natural habitat was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience — humbling, awe-inspiring, and deeply moving. It felt like being invited into their world, even if just briefly, and it’s something we’ll never forget.

Barack and Laban prepared us so well for the trek and shared so much valuable knowledge along the way. Their passion for conservation and respect for the gorillas really stood out.

On our return journey, Laban took us for a lovely lunch in the Ugandan town of Kisoro — a thoughtful and relaxing stop that showed how much they cared about making the whole experience memorable beyond the trek itself.

Expedition Rwindi managed every detail with care — from permits and logistics to transport. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a more meaningful adventure.

If you're considering a gorilla trek, we highly recommend Expedition Rwindi — and if you get Barack and Laban, you’re in the best hands possible.

Amazing Tour Guide and Once in a Lifetime Experience!
5/5

I want to start off by saying thank you to Max for a wonderful trip. Visiting 44 countries, Tanzania has definitely been the best experience. As a tour guide, Max has been brilliant and very consistently bringing us great adventures. He does what a normal tour guide does, but he goes above and beyond for his job and has so many highlights as a tour guide.

Max is very passionate. Through how he talks about the animals and the environment, I can tell that he loves this place and the organisms in it. He cares about protecting Serengeti and leaving the wildlife wild. I remember him stopping a newer tour guide on the road just to remind him not to litter. He is also knowledgeable and incredibly smart. When juggling driving and talking at the same time, Max can tell what an animal is from meters away, before anyone else can. When asking him what an animal is, max is quick and can give facts off the top of his head.

In the end we saw hyenas, lions, flamingos, zebras, elephants, wildebeests, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos and hippos just to name a few.

Max also always makes sure that as a family, we are comfortable with our hotel. When there was a yearly controlled wildfire in the backyard of one of our camps, Max drove back and stayed with us until we felt safe enough for him to leave again. He is a flexible person and will try to the best of his abilities to make a trip as comfortable as possible.

The food everyday was packed in metal lunch boxes along with complimentary drinks, and lunch was pretty tasty. The lunch table and the chairs were very sturdy and lunch was comfortable.

I loved talking to Max and learning about his family and the various traditions of Tanzania. He gave me a glance into real life living in a tribe and how Tanzania society functions. I wish I had more time to talk to him, he seems like he has many many stories to tell.

Special thanks to Beatrice for working hard to make this the best trip possible. Sheppard was great at replying fast and responded to every single question and concern my family and I had.

I will be recommending Serengeti Wakanda to friends especially Max as a tour guide. Lots of love from China and I will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you so much Max!

"A Dream Come True"
5/5

As a wildlife enthusiast, seeing the Great Migration was a lifelong dream—and Pega Tours & Travel delivered it perfectly! Zebra Plains offered front-row views of wildebeests charging the Mara River, and our guide made every moment magical. The serenity of Naivasha Kongoni and the majestic elephants of Amboseli with Kilimanjaro in the background were unforgettable. Truly the safari of a lifetime!

8-Day Safari Memories: The Most Reliable Guide Jeff, Who Showed Us the True Wild Beauty

Our 8-day safari journey in Kenya left me with more than just memories of vast wildebeest migrations or lions and cheetahs roaming the savanna. What truly made it unforgettable was our calm and dependable guide—Jeff.

Jeff is 38 years old and the father of four children. He doesn’t talk much, but from day one, he gave off a strong sense of reliability and steadiness. With excellent driving skills and a sharp eye, he knows the behavior of animals and the rhythm of the land like the back of his hand. Throughout the journey, he stayed focused, always observing carefully and choosing the best spots for us to watch and photograph wildlife. No matter the weather, he never complained.

He’s an incredibly smooth driver. Even with long, bumpy drives and kids in the car, we always felt completely safe—and could even nap in peace during the ride.

One of the most unforgettable moments was when we were about to leave the Maasai Mara National Reserve, just approaching the gate. Suddenly, Jeff heard a cheetah sighting come through the radio. Before we even had time to react, he hit the gas and sped back into the park—making a sharp U-turn and racing deep into the reserve toward where a leopard had reportedly appeared. It was in that moment I realized Jeff wasn’t just checking off boxes—he genuinely wanted us to witness the most extraordinary and complete side of African wildlife.

During the days we spent waiting by the Mara River to see the wildebeest crossing, Jeff consistently picked the best spots. He could tell where the herds would gather and hesitate before crossing, and he’d position us perfectly to capture the action. While other guides were still circling around, Jeff had already locked in the ideal view. More than once, he even ignored park rangers trying to usher us away—determined to let us see the most breathtaking scenes. Those herds thundering down the riverbank, crocodiles lurking in the water—those images are burned into my memory.

On the last day, we all went quiet in the car. No one wanted to get out. We were reluctant to say goodbye—to the journey, to the wild, and especially to Jeff. He wasn’t just a “driver” or a “translator.” He was our companion, and the bridge between us and nature.

If you’re planning a safari in Kenya, I wholeheartedly recommend Jeff and the JungleRoam team. He may not be the most talkative guide, but he will definitely be the one who brings you face-to-face with the wild miracles of Africa.

"Seamless & Serene"
5/5

rom the moment we landed, Pega Tours & Travel took care of us like family. The lodges—especially Kongoni at Lake Naivasha—were peaceful, scenic, and so comfortable. I loved the boat ride among hippos and birds, and the sunsets at Kibo Safari Camp in Amboseli were breathtaking. Everything ran smoothly, and I felt completely at ease. Highly recommended!
