If You’re Planning a Safari, Stay at Kapama
We booked our safari through MoAfrika Tours because it looked reliable. It arranged both our stay at Kapama River Lodge and the round-trip van transportation from Johannesburg. The person who assisted us was very communicative, trustworthy, and helped us choose the trip we wanted within our budget.
That said, the transportation to and from Kapama was crowded and a bit uncomfortable. It definitely didn’t compare to the incredible experience we had once we arrived.
Kapama River Lodge was the highlight of our entire trip. Every single dollar paid is worth it just for the level of service and the unforgettable experience Kapama offers. The reserve is beautifully maintained without interfering with the natural lives of the animals. Game drives were punctual, and the staff thought of every detail — from warm blankets and heat sources on cold mornings to coffee and snacks mid-drive. They truly care about your comfort and wellbeing.
We were lucky to be taken care of by Happiness, Fanie, Valecia, and Katherine — without them, our stay wouldn’t have been the same. Their warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail made our time in Kapama absolutely magical.
We’re vegan, and not once did we feel like a burden. Every meal and snack came with plant-based alternatives, prepared with care and variety. If you have dietary restrictions, rest assured: they’ve got you covered.
If there’s one thing to take away from this review, it’s this: stay at Kapama. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience — not just for the wildlife, but for the people who make it so special.

Excellent Summer Trip
I am very happy with our host Amos; he was personable, friendly, patient, and a good communicator. He took the time to understand all our needs and was able to accommodate them all in the itinerary.
Our guide and driver was, excellent. He took us to places where we could see wildlife up close. In Tarangire, he guided us along the Tarangire River, where many animals came to drink. The same was true in the Serengeti, where we found numerous animals near the rivers we approached, such as the Seronera, Grumeti, and Mara. We loved Ngorongoro, and getting down to the crater floor was amazing.
Staying in the great lodges and tented camps was extremely exciting and completely lovely. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we are looking forward to booking another trip with Migration Venture Africa.

Prompt communication and accommodating service
We had an amazing 7-day safari experience. Our guide Kulet had a sharp eye and always managed to find the best views and wildlife moments. Everything was well-organized, and communication was smooth, Peter replied almost instantly every time. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

We found Savannah Adventures to be very professional & the best at offering adventurous & unique tours at economical prices. They always arrived early for all our tours & prepared for the day! All the tours we took (helicopter, train, boat & land safaris) were outstanding, beautiful & exciting & we have the pictures to prove it! Jonas and his team were just tremendous - really
made us feel welcome in their country. Our driver / guide JJ was very knowledgeable and pointed out many animals and birds to us. Five hours watching the wildebeest migration was amazing. Accommodation chosen was all lovely. We especially enjoyed Anantya Serengeti - we arrived late and the prepared a 5* dinner for us.
Jonas was very responsive to all our queries during the planning process and ensured we were comfortable about visas, dietary needs etc. Definitely would book again with Tansafari

wonderful
We are now at the airport, getting ready to return to our home country. These seven days of journey have been extremely enjoyable. Ali and Ken have been highly conscientious and responsible. During these days, we've witnessed cheetahs hunting, lions hunting, elephant herds at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, and so on. We've seen all the "Big Five" in Africa. We're really lucky, and we don't even want to leave this place! Once again, thank you, Axis Africa. If there's an opportunity, we'll come to Kenya again, and we'll still choose you! You've done an excellent job! I'll recommend you to my Chinese friends who want to come to Kenya!
